Combat Roach Killing Bait Strips
Fantastic, quick, effective. Roaches gone in 48hrs. The sticky strip isn’t super adhesive but that’s a non issue
Kills quick
Kills nest
Sticky strip at back not super adhesive but I just put it on the floor behind and underneath fridge. Absolutely fantastic.
Dying roaches seem to lay an egg whilst dying, I just swept those up. Problem solved
Purchased in March 2022 at Coles for $12.

Does work but...
Pro's:
1. Bait is fresh as it is double sealed from exposure in the packaging (the airtight satchel and the adhesive seal).
2. You can see when the active bait contents run out or have dried out.
3. Strips are less conspicuous than other black rectangular baits but...see Con's.
Con's:
1. The baits has a smell. Would not recommend for indoors in general. There may be areas where you may be OK with the bait smell but generally, my wife would pick up the scent and ask me to remove it!
2. The adhesive really doesn't work but I imagine its weak bec...

Infestation cleared within 22 hrs
Just moved into an absolute dump.
It's a boarding house where the other residents leave their mess in the toilet and when I moved into my room, the woodboard floor was absolutely disgusting, stank like urine and sticky for days, even after I mopped several times-this building is ancient.
This place will be a real test for the traps- as the landlords recently even had some pest control spray a Powerful insecticide around all the rooms, and all it did was stop the roaches for about a week.
The rub will be if I have placed enough of them and if i...
Read more placed them in the right places; I used the bottom drawer of an old wardrobe I never use, behind a cabinet, and on top of the wardrobe too. Have seen them in all those places and more. Tried sticking the strips with the adhesive on the back, and they just fell right off, but that's not what's important. Will just have to wait and see now if they are desperate enough to actually eat the bait. Edit: so, to see for myself if the formula worked, I caught one of the roaches and put it into a jar with a bait.Purchased in January 2022.

Ignore the people below who complain, they're probably the ones who can't flush a public toilet, these are sensational.
Not often I will race inside to post a review and I have been posting common sense reviews here for years. This stuff is sensational, sure it has two areas that aren't ideal, the sticky on the back is a bit weak and the top is slow to remove, but take your time it comes off cleanly. These kill cockies like no tomorrow, I've got dead remnants everywhere, so the nests should be a wipe out also. I've tried all brands, this one really works. If you are a whinger who can't operate a lock or flush a public toilet, these aren't for you, a bit of brains and nouse is needed here. I was astounded at the whingey, whiney comments, probably from city slickers. For me, we are semi rural and these work.

Difficult to use
i have only just started to try and set them up. This in itself has been very hard. There is not enough sticky on the baits for them to stick to the surface, at this stage not very impressed with this product. Would I buy them again? Very much doubt it.

Next to useless
Not only will these not stick to any surface, they don't open fully. Some won't open at all, the tabs just break off. I don't know if they work because I couldn't get enough open to test.

Messy and potentially dangerous
Wow, just opened these and not happy at all. They dont stick, the bait is open and a potential risk for kids and pets. I am not sure how you would make them secure and keep out of reach.

Kills some roaches, but other concerns.
This product 'kind-of' works. I've found it semi-effective at best when killing roaches. The adhesive is tricky to get off to expose the bait, and fingers risk coming into contact (mine have with a particularly stubborn strip) with the bait which I'd say is concerning. The underside adhesive sticks to some surfaces, not others.
Reasonable value for what it does though. It does kill roaches, but isn't useful for heavier infestations. If you have a light infestation, or get the jump on things as soon as you see that single roach (because th...
Read moreere'll be 100 more hidden that you don't see), then yeah, sure give this a shot - maybe it'll work for you. But if you have a heavier infestation (i.e. multiple rooms) then you're better off spending 2-3 times what these things cost to get the job done properly. Or get the pest control experts in to bait and eliminate them entirely.Purchased in March 2021 at Woolworths for $12.
Only stuff that has worked for me
Tried several sprays and home remedies but used this and it was cockroach genocide. Worth shopping around because it's usually on special somewhere for about $6. Buy several packets and be patient, it will take a few weeks for them to disappear.

Poor design and dangerous
Difficult to set up. Really hard to pull off the adhesive strip. Adhesive strip doesn't stick.
Also really hard to pull off the strip that 'activates' the strip, and when you do get it off you get the poison all over your hands. What's more you can't use gloves as the whole thing is so fiddly and hard to get open. So this is a dangerous product.

Product poorly designed
The backing strip fails to stick to anything, even if the surface is clean. The strips are also really difficult to open and kept tearing. I ended up throwing them in the bin after 15 mins of persisting to use them.

Roach strip's .
No adhesive at all. Would be great if one could place on a wall where the roaches are.Had to just lay on shelf. Disappointed, with that. Hopefully they will work well.

Excellent bait poorly packaged
This actual bait is the most effective ever!!!. Dead roaches both in the cupboards & (lesser extent) not so hidden. Tropics has many types of roach incl big flying ones, wood roaches etc so life cycle ongoing from environment, can have totally sterile home & roaches still come.
I agree with other reviews that this product is not user friendly to set up, but the end result is that it does what it is meant to do. I do like discreet strips as opposed to bulkier bait stations. Would prefer to be able to purchase in different quantities & application styles
Purchased for $12.
