Big shout out to Jerome for helping me find the correct cover for exactly what I need it. He was quick, helpful and was super friendly and easy to talk to. Great customer service skills and had good knowledge of the policies.

Firstly, WOW... What a bloke
The consultant was clear and concise, helpful and easy to get along with.
Showed good understanding of the policies and providers in my local area.
Premium quote
Consultant changed prices on premium several times yesterday prior to a final of $536.55mthly then stated this may be adjusted and changed when policy is finalised. Consultant was polite but we think he requires further training, very confusing with various premium changes to same policy.
Works well
An initial delay in hearing from my chosen provider, but all worked out in the end.
Site provides a clear comparison and I did recive a call to see if I needed any help.

I phoned you about about energy prices was on the phone for ages you people got backto me and said the lines are busy we will get back to you that was a week ago you have a very dissapointing web site and i no further want your service,douglas williams.
Good comparison, consistent with previous use
This time they didn't ring and bother me after I did a quote. Got my price quickly, click through, 5 min and I have the policy. Very convenient service, and use it often.

Swapping energy providers was simple.
Service was fast, informative and simple. There was no pressure to sign up and the figures were there in plain site to see the savings that would come with swapping energy providers.
Unable to help us
We are interested in travel/holiday insurance overseas for people in their 80s - unfortunately Compare the Market could not provide us with any - so we sourced elsewhere - no problem. Many people in our age group still wish to travel overseas so this was very disappointing. Ageism is alive and (excuse the pun) well!

Very helpful and easy to navigate made changing providers an easy and pleasant experience, staff were very helpful and easy to understand, a great service especially for us elderly customers who find it quite daunting to go through this kind of exchange so regularly.
No response to queries. Long wait and unattended phone enquiries
Rang the call centre numerous times, either no response or long waiting time over 15 minutes. Eventually I gave up and looked for alternatives. Not helpful at all. May not use the company again.
how not to get travel insurance
tried to get travel insurance quotes and was advised that non were available' No reason was given for this response. It was a total waste of time and effort. Please advise why

Problem is the cold call, and asking potential customers a series of questions which they haven't yet had a chance to think about. Also, simply asking people "Do you want cover for x?" is actually the very question that consumers want help to answer (and that is not provided). eg. People may not know that ambulance cover is free to pensioners/health care card holders...they should know this before they answer that question! Ditto..."Do you want to be covered for knee replacement surgery?" People should know in advance that if knee surgery is e

On the other hand, if required because of trauma (fall off ladder, motor vehicle accident) then cannot wait, and should be covered. In other words, the risk for coverage/non-coverage should be explained upfront. I would suggest that (before you call) you provide the list of questions with this risk assessment to the customer first so they are prepared for the cold call. That would be truly helpful to many potential customers!! Also, I had one cold call from you, and guy said he would call back to complete assessment, but never did!It's a great site
This site is good for comparing the prices for other company, I was able to find the best insurance company to start my policy. I now hv insurance for my mother and I will certainly look into it for myself too

Very limited results
The cheapest home and contents insurance provided is $102 per month over my new rate. I thought I would get more promising results as my premiums went up $50. Furthermore, they duplicated the providers with different premiums and to boot I am now receiving spam email.
Very helpful Health insurance advice
Although I didn't change my health fund due to unforeseen circumstances at this time I was very impressed with Sam Cho's knowledge and professionalism in answering my questions and presenting the alternatives suitable to me.

One of the worst insurance experience I have
I looked at their website but couldn't find the info I needed. Then I called them but was told that they are actually ' BizCover Pty Ltd' which is their business partner. I rang them, after 20 seconds the guy said that they couldn't find the right occupation for me then hang up the call immediately. One of the rudest guy I have ever talked to.

Very impressed with Isaac. He did everything he good to find us the best deal and put up with all our questions. Helped through the process as not everything is clear with Electricity bills. Very pleasant and well mannered person. So nice to talk to someone like that on the phone these days and this also saved me a lot of time comparing myself. Wish he could so all my comparisons!

I clicked the result from a Google search
Oops, I clicked the link from a Google search for car insurance.
Now I see it is that animated animal on TV commercials.
Normally I would not select this company because the commercials are too silly to watch.
I filled in the phishing form and received some overpriced offers.
I selected contact via email, but those emailed offers should also provide an option to cancel and delete my contact information since they were unsuitable.
I have received several phone calls from an automated call centre robot that connects me to another person who wants my info, I reluctantly give it to try and have my phone number removed from their lists.

UPDATE: after compare the market, I checked the options and they were all more expensive than AAMI, so I didn't use anything from compare the market. The sharing information with their partners must be responsible for the sudden increase in spam messages requesting me to click the attached links. Let me start with this, comparing the market saved me over $700 a year, that is a major saving.
Everything is online, and it's so easy that even having limited technical skills I had no trouble at all, as it says...simple.

Matt Lawson - great service
So, since being in Australia ( 7 years) I had always stayed with Origin for power... and then the solar rate dropped and it didnt look such a great deal.... Step in Matt Lawson @compare the market.... he did a fantastic job, sourcing the best deal, explaining it in the easiest way, setting it up... Great customer service, kind manner and really just made it all too easy- Thanks Matt, a day I spent worrying about what to do, and just like that, the worry is gone!

I've used CTM before and found if very useful. I tried the government website but couldn't download my latest Energy Australia bill (could have been deliberate ploy from Energy Aust!). CTM very useful and gave me a number of options.

Compares nothing
Trying to use the website to compare Private Health Insurance. Incredible unintuitive. Comes up with nothing but bronze results then when adding certain coverage in the preferences filter it only comes up with AHM Gold Cover even though other websites offer multiple options. Collusion much?

I talked with a team member (Nicholas D) not even 15 minutes after browsing their website. I wasn't expecting a call but they have a solid feedback system in place.
