Complete Campsite Hard Floor Fraser XTE - Sensational Camper Trailer
After 3 months and 21,000 ks on the road, we are new back home in Melb. During a long trip, our XTE Fraser camper trailer performed extremely well on the rough corrugated roads along the Gibb River Road and the badly corrugated road into the Bungle Bungles, as well as the soft sandy roads on Fraser Island...nothing seemed to affect the performance of this camper trailer. Apart from a damaged tyre shroud (which has now been redesigned/engineered and replaced), the camper trailer lived up to our expectations, which is testament to the excellent b...Read more
uild quality of these campers trailers. I would recommend using a Stone Stomper or Rock Tamer though when traversing on unsealed roads as the Rhino Paint protection on the front boot did not fair very well with the rocks being thrown up from our Land Cruiser. The remote control electric opening and closing was sensational to use. It made it very pleasurable and easy experience to set up or pack up. People would stop and take photos of us opening up the hard floor and were amazed by the simplicity of it. We decided to install a 2000 watt inverter and 200 a/h lithium battery in our camper. This enabled us to run a pod coffee machine while free camping and we had an abundance on power to run the freezer on -14 degrees and the fridge for 3 days without the need to top up the batter with our 200 watt solar panel. Apart from a damaged tyre shroud (which has now been redesigned/engineered and replaced), everything on the camper trailer worked the way it was designed to do and lived up to our expectations. We only had few minor issues that needed some attention, which were done by Complete Campsite with any problems. The service provided by Complete Campsite's Service Coordinator (after sales service) and the person in the workshop was exemplary and pleasing to see in an age where after sales service can often leave a lot to be desired. Far too often, companies will be all over you when trying to sell you something and don’t want to know you after they have sold you the item.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Complete Campsite Hard Floor Fraser - Great!
We’ve recently seen the comments by Just Dwight on the Complete Campsite Fraser hard floor camper. As it appears to be contrary to our experience we thought we would just add our comments.
Although we are not entirely new to camping, the Fraser is our first hard floor camper. We had some reservations initially about the decision we were making to ensure that the model we chose would best suit our needs. The owner, Grant, was very patient in demonstrating and explaining the fitout of the hard floor models. Once we had decided on and ordere...Read more

After sales service is atrocious
Upon pick up we discovered many things wrong with the camper: The electrics were wired incorrectly (which resulted in us not being able to drive the camper home); the generator was missing; the fridge wasn't bolted in or tested; there were foot prints on the inside of the canvas on the roof; poles weren't clean so there were black marks from the dirty poles all over the roof; excessive white pencil marks all through the camper (the seamstress's didn't clean the canvas); and the kitchen slide is powder coated and rubs on the rails so it is peeli...Read more
ng away (the owner told us there was nothing they could do about that). We were told to take the camper out camping and contact Complete Campsite with any other issues we found. After returning from our trip we contacted Complete Campsite with additional issues: they failed to put the spirit leveler on the drawbar; the hard floor lino wasn't cut cleanly along the edges and was jagged; the visible pantry walls were scratched and actually looked like the offcuts; and the hot 'luke warm' water generator emits a high pitch squeal after turning it on. The owner apologised and informed us he would replace the camper. After we asked for our money back, less deposit, whilst they rebuilt our new camper - he then informed us he would just repair the state of the camper (and he refused to compensate us for our time or disappointment). Whilst he repaired the camper he did not dry out the camper as we had requested (we had packed up in the wet). We picked up the camper and the day before our second trip in the Complete Campsite Fraser we discovered that all the annex walls were mouldy as they had not dried out the walls (or even taken them out of the storage box to remove the white pencil marks). We were told they were sorry and we would have to spend the first day of our holiday cleaning the mould off our walls. Upon set up, we cleaned the annex walls but discovered mould had set in on some of the walls of the actual camper.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
