Great solid camper
Looking for a good solid camper? I thought that the Conquerors were a bit "lightweight" compared to my old camper (W.A made built like a tank) and some that are on the market. I found one on Gumtree for a reasonable price and went for a look. No independent suspension, slipper springs the old school stuff. After owning this now for 2 years I'm impressed, goes anywhere you can tow it. It has a large amount of storage room, a huge bed, and a kitchen thats the envy of most campers.
The things I dont like..........You need a step ladder to effecti...
Read morevely pack it up and open it as the "nose cone" is in the way and its about 1.6m from the ground to the zip to undo the tent and you need to reach the middle of the camper to pull the tent open (thats why the new models have auto opening) We've taken it up the Gibb River Rd, Tamami Rd, Holland Track (did some damage in a deep hole but managed an easy repair) and it's performed perfectly. It may not be the all singing all dancing independent suspension camper that is on the market today but what it lacks in complexity it makes up in reliability.
Purchased in for $18,000.

Conqueror NSW Customer Service is appalling!
Purchased a new UEV490 from the campng show in October 2017. Was told by the sale guy that it we paid up front it would be ready in 3 months, so we financed the lot and have been paying for it since then. Booked our 4 month holiday to leave end of March 2018 leaving enough time for the camper trailer to arrive. March came and went with no camper, then April came and went with still no camper, apparently due to 'shipping delays'. May came and went, phone calls were not answered nor were emails. June arrived and with 3 weeks left of our holidays ...
Read morewe decided to leave with a tent. Arrived home last week and still no word until today to say its on its way by ship....8 months later!! Cant say much about the camper trailer as were yet to experience it. Can say however, that the service from Conqueror NSW is well below standard and very disappointing.- 2 reviews

Good but not great
Purchased a new Conqueror UEV 390 with rubbish alko mechanical brakes on a 1500kg trailer in 2016 in NSW to full fill a goal to travel around Australia, delivery & hand over was sketchy. Within a week of use a crucial tent pole broke, had to wait 5 weeks for a replacement part after continually chasing up the dealer. Toured Tasmania for 5 weeks when finally able to,tent hard to put up & pack away especially when wet. Despite being marketed as an”military tough” off road trailer I found the overall build quality & finish disappointing. Contacted...
Read more selling dealer numerous times in an attempt to upgrade tent & awning quickly found the after sales service & customer support to be very unsatisfactory. Eventually found another dealer in another state to do modifications but unfortunately again found quality of work & service to be sub standard. My personal experience with Conqueror Australia has been expensive & disappointing,in hind sight I regret not purchasing a better quality product with Australian wide service & support with experienced dealers. Having previously owned a Ultimate off-road trailer I can appreciate the quality of an Australian built & tested product. If you’re considering a Conqueror definitely do your research avoid the mechanical brake model & consider alternatives. These could be great trailers with a little more attention to detail & further development for the Australian market. The after sales service/support network is lacking in my experience, parts can be very difficult to source & long waits can be expected. Not really satisfactory if you’re on the road in your new off road trailer.Questions & Answers
