Buyers please beware of this website. I purchased a particular brand of rice cooker being advertised as available on their website. I was originally delivered a parcel however it was the incorrect model. I contacted the store to arrange for return and redelivery. I was advised the model I purchased was discontinued and thus not available (despite being advertised as so). this day and age of online shopping it's hard to believe such scams still exist. I have contacted the store on numerous occasions via email and phone and still not received a refund. Consumers - I would be very careful when buying online with this store and make sure you record everything. You still may end up out of pocket with no product and no communication like me. Scam artists
Purchased a $195 electric blanket on 28/5.
Queried where it was on 10/6. Was told it was on its was to me and should be here the next week.
Followed it up on 23/6 only to be told they don't stock this anymore and would i like to buy one for $205 - hell no!
How does it take me chasing you up twice, for you then to tell me one whole month later you don't stock it after it was apparently posted and on its way to me..

Excellent Service and Product
I made a purchase from their online website and received the item in 3 business days and I am located in Sydney.
The item arrived new and sealed as advertised and I tested out the TV and are extremely pleased.
I contacted the store via email and they were quick to respond back to me.
After my experience I would without hesitation purchase from Countdown Deals again.

So pleased. We had issues and they got resolved.
I needed a 'black' fridge and the online staff (Anna) really worked with me to find the right one.
I'm in Adelaide and they are in Melbourne.
There were problems with some bonus product but after a little time they were really well resolved.
I'm a realist, and issues occur in the real world. CountDown Deals sorted it out. Thanks Anna.

My fridge is still not here.
I ordered and paid for a refridgerstor on the 27th February. I was told it would be two weeks til delivery. After two weeks, I was told that the refrigerator was damaged in transit. They offered my money back or a new fridge by the end of the month. As the fridge was part of my renovation and I wasn't ready for it, I decided to wait until the end of the month. I have made at least fifteen calls to this company this week and have always been diverted to a message bank. I have had no communication with them at all. I think I should cancel the order..unless they decide to contact me today.

Dodgy operaters_lodging a complaint to ACCC.
Take your money for items they don't have, send you some fake tracking info then....nothing. Aus post doesn't have the item and neither do they. Cant get through by phone, then receive an email in broken English saying the item is 'lost' and will process a refund. Why even bother? A very poor way to conduct business. New Chinese service model?
Judging by the poor feedback, it's time to shut these guys down

Have not received order
We ordered a Stonedine Saute Pan online on 5/1/17 and still have not received it. The money has been taken out of our account though! We have rung 3 times and could only leave a message and have emailed three times but have not received a reply to anything. We are starting to believe that this is not a legitimate company and that we will have to contact Consumer Affairs to help us get our money back.

Yes Same - bought a clothes dryer on line on 14/1/17 - paid for same including delivery. 2 weeks later still waiting. Have sent emails and rang twice (get a recorded message) and left message and still not the courtesy of a reply. Starting to feel ripped off

I think I've been ripped off!!!
I placed an order on January 2nd. I was told I'd get a confirmation email after I paid for it, which I never got. I've tried to call but just get the answering service. Are you people for real? Where is my order?

I thought I'd been ripped off but after mentioning consumer affairs I got a refund. I think I'll go somewhere else next time.

Don't waste your time
Placed an order online on 22nd November for a Christmas present. Excited cos item was "IN STOCK" and would get it nearly a month before Christmas as it would ship to South Australia within 3 days. Received an email from Australia Post with tracking number 2 days later. After 3 weeks sent email enquiry because My order was still "pending". No response for a week. They took payment straight away and then you have to chase them up to find out what is happening to your order. Not impressed. Pity that I didn't read the other reviews til after I had placed my order!! Will never make that mistake again. Cheap price obviously means cheap - or no - service. Now I'm still down a Christmas present and the $167.66 price tag. ! Happy to say that I did go out on Boxing Day to Harvey Norman and purchased a beaut little oven that was what we were after (although a different brand and a few less features). Lesson learnt...read reviews before purchasing - they usually don't lie!Received refund on 31/12/2016.
My account still has order status as "pending" on 5/1/2017.

Customer service - where is it?
The customer service is poor but i think these guys have bitten off more than they can chew with there cheap prices. After i had paid i heard nothing, when i threatened to cancel the email arrived. They said i can pick-up the Yamaha amp at their Springvale store at 10am on Sat morning. The place didn't open until 10.40am. There were two older guys who looked a little bewildered. The prices are cheap but so is the service.

Beware
Purchased online, received a (bogus) email from Australia post stating it had been processed and was on the way. Called Australia post after 2 weeks, no record, no product . Called company, got onto Jim who said he would chase it up-no return phone call. Tried calling numerous times, answering machine only.
Come to think of it, don't think I even received a receipt via email with an order number. Very poor Service. Would never purchase through them again.

I returned a toaster under warranty on 23 August. When I called on 30 August I was advised they had received the faulty toaster & the new toaster will be shipped to me the next day. I have since sent 2 emails and left numerous voicemail messages and NO response. Everytime I call, all I get is an answerphone. Is this company still trading?

Prompt problem resolution
Ordered 2 weeks ago and waited in vain for delivery. Called Anna this morning and was promised delivery today. Received a confirmation by telephone from Anna at lunchtime that delivery would occur before 6pm. Item was delivered by 4pm, unpacked and running!!! Anna did a great job!

Do not use under any circumstances!!
Purchased online and got stuffed around no end, these people are liars. Product took 2 weeks to arrive. Don't answer phone calls and provide false information when they respond to emails.

I've purchase several high ticket items from Countdown Deals over the years and i can confirm that pricewise they are one of the cheapest and the only draw back is the delivery times are around 3 - 4 weeks.
If you want to save a few dollars and can wait, they are as good as anyone. I got a phone call a few days after my order to confirm that they are being sourced and sent etc...
