Better than a larger heater for heating up small/bedroom sized rooms - I wouldn't say it's exactly energy efficient but perhaps I just like it too hot - which it is good for. It did have a strong smell for first week which went away completely only after about 3 weeks.

It won't warm up a huge room but it is a great little oil heater which will keep the area around it quite warm, very easy to use and move around, the settings are great - there are two buttons with higher and lower general heat and there is also a dial from 1 to 6 which is helpful when you want more range. There is also a handy timer. Great quality heater.

It is really energy efficient, use it a lot but doesn't see my power bill go sky high like a small fan heater. It can warm up a small area really quick.
However not good for open area though, you won't feel much heat coming though until you are right beside it.
Love the multi setting and the timer features.
