Excellent product.
I am a GP and recommend this. Acne scarring can be treated with laser dermabrasion for $2-4,000 or, Dermatix for about $35. Results are impressive. Keloid scars also benefit impressively.
Purchased at Chemist Warehouse for A$36.00.

Worked well to reduce my eyelid scar
After having a skin cancer removed from my lower eyelid, I was recommended Dermatix Silicone Gel by my plastic surgeon. Following the instructions after having my stitches removed, I used this at least twice a day along with tapping and massaging this upwards along the scar. It certainly helps to reduce the lumpiness felt and the swollen inflammation over the first few weeks. The trick to applying it is to barely use a drop as it has great coverage. Do not overdo it with the application otherwise you will be wasting your money.

ues I had were that I had to drive 20 minutes to a Chemist that had it available in stock and that the price was over $50, however has lasted over the 12 weeks I needed it for with plenty to spare. Worked really well for me (and my friend)
I live in Australia and have had a lot of basal cell skin cancers. On my last surgery the plastic surgeon (who has a good reputation) told me to put this on the scar for some weeks, along with the tapping/ massaging type protocol. You can buy it yourself (shop around!), sadly there is no Medicare rebate. I had a 3 cm scar on my forehead which had to be pulled very tight. I healed up really well and even my dermatologist cannot find that scar (I should say I was about 30 at the time). But you do have to do the protocol as they say.

end then got a bad abdominal cancer with big surgery (big packed wound scars). The community nurses told her to use silica gel (she also got some sort of strips). I gave her what was left of my Dermatix (which was still quite a bit). She healed up really well (the nurses could not believe actually how well she healed from day to day). She was 33. I had also used salmon oil (cut open the capsules) many years ago, that also seemed pretty good although a bit smelly. But I have to say in inside circles this Dermatix is well respected. I am about to have another skin cancer surgery, my plastic surgeon said he still uses Dermatix (and one other product also, not sure the name). Dermatix is not cheap (although the price has not gone up in recent years). I am not sure how it compares to slightly cheaper products, but the ingredients seem different. Taking oral silica with the Dermatix might also be good, along with Vit C, collagen, sulfure etc. I have seen Dermatix online in different packaging that have mixed reviews, not sure if they are legit or copycats?. The one I used is the 15g tube in white and blue packaging like the photo above. We are all deficient in silica apparently these days, so it makes sense we might need it anyway.. Best of luck. ps - I do wonder how much a role the tapping/ massaging plays in the healing (having the Dermatix makes you do this often).

Absolutely useless thing.
I agree with first writer.Bought on eBay 1 month ago. it was in black packaging. Before bought in white-blue packaging,everything was OK. Dried in few seconds. May be producers changed their formula, ingredients are different in 2 items.

Absolute junk!!
Let me save you some time and money. Don't buy this stuff!! It doesn't do anything! It's too expensive and doesn't dry like it says it does and so far after using this product for several months it has not changed my scar at all. I would not recommend this product at all.
It is supposed to dry in 4 - 5 minutes to a sheet but even when removing the excess like the product info tells you to it still doesn't dry!! It's expensive as well and there is no change in appearance even after using it for several months
