Really happy with my 65" Devanti TV - purchased 6mths ago.
I found it easy to set up & operate & the picture quality is much better than i ever expected for a relatively cheap TV. I love the way it looks in my living room too. The only thing i would have liked to see would be a 'sleep' button on the remote rather than have to go thru the menu settings to get to it. Bloody good TV for it's low price. In fact i'm looking to buy another Devanti smart TV to replace my old bedroom TV as well. Hopefully i'll find a good price during the boxing day sales ;)

Devanti 55 tv Youtube unavailable
Youtube was working fine but they were sending us a warning that that version of youtube would no longer be available. As soon as it was no longer available tbe best we could do was get youtube.com there is no facility to input text, not through the remote control, keyboard or mouse as a smart tv it is pretty dumb, an older tv we have works without any intervention, I have spent many hours trying to get this to work, I am giving up and buying a new name brand tv.
Purchased for A$500.00.

Unable to connect to Internet easily.
I have been unable to connect to WiFi with my Devanti 65". Have followed instructions but not much luck trying to Google answers ;(
Thank you for replying. I found that the problem was that I was trying to use the auto function but had to use manual for some reason. However now after an update I was able to use the auto function.
Very pleased with the television thank you. Good colour, sound, Netflix and You Tube.

We bought this Devanti tv from eBay a few days ago, primarily to watch YouTube and Screencast, we don't have Netflix so we cannot comment. In the advert, the tv was supposed to have one touch apps and showed a remote with the YouTube app symbol. When we set up the unit we found that the only app that would function was the weather. When we clicked the YouTube symbol it said that the YouTube app was no longer available on this device. oller. Screencast would not connect. We spent a lot of time trying everything to make it work. We immediately put in a request for a refund and are still awaiting the outcome from eBay. We are not young people or technically minded and we have been put to a lot of trouble and stress about what should have been a simple purchase and set up. A tv should do what is advertised, straight out of the box and manufacturers and suppliers should ensure that this is the case. How can Devanti keep selling a product when they know there are problems with it? In addition to the software problems above, the picture is not very good, kind of shimmery. Our older Teac has a far clearer picture through the same connections. We are just writing this review to warn anyone who is considering purchasing this product. After realising that we were not to be mollified with promises of upgraded software, the company we dealt with through ebay were quick to process a refund, although they required photographic evidence of the fault. That caused us some stress as the tv was already packed up ready to be returned and we had to unpack it to take photos. If we may, could we suggest that if possible, you contact any customers that might have these problems and rectify them free of charge. This would be a proactive move in repairing damage to the Devanti name. As for ourselves, it might be understandable that we will be hesitant to purchase another Devanti product in the future, especially a TV. The whole experience was one which we could have done without and although we are getting a refund for the product we suffered a lot of uncertainty and stress with the whole transaction. We have purchased our 65" Smart TV, there are many issues with this product, many already reviewed by other purchasers. We are not satisfied with its operating system or the so called apps.
I would like to know how to update my my apps particularly YouTube and be able to actually be able to access it. Terrible
The picture quality of this tv is extremely poor. If it sold for around $500 it might be an option. It is overpriced and nowhere delivers on its advertised capabilities. My experience tells me to save my money and buy a known brand instead of a knock off brand.

I purchased this tv via catch, daily plaza. I have reported the complaint to them and have requested a refund. I am awaiting a reply and have since purchased a new tv. I supplied photos of the picture quality to them. I also purchased new antenna and coaxial cables to see if this would help, it didn’t. I also connected via internet and via tv box. I am sorry to tell you that our TV cannot download APPs at the moment, hence, Foxtel cannot be connected to the TV. We have reflected this to our supplier and we are working on it to improve our models!
However, if you can use Foxtel on your computer, you can connect your computer to the TV with a HDMI cable so that you can watch Foxtel on your TV this way.

The standby light will only light up when the TV is connected to a power source and when turned on with the remote control. Would you be able to switch on the power of the TV with the remote control? Please check for any loose cables connecting the TV to the power outlets too.
