Useless Product!!!
I agree with Ryan R, I used this for stripping paint off window frames and even left it on over night, and still did nothing to remove the old paint, it's true it is odourless and stays wet for 24 hours BUT DOSE NOT WORK!!!!!

Completely agree - useless
I appreciate it's "low odour" and "biodegradable" but it doesn't work. I foolishly trusted the product and put it all around three window frames. I spent more time try to clean it off. Still stinks. I know now why there are no time frames and it says "conveniently" wet for 24 hours...

Worked for me
I used it to remove paint from old steel mailboxes. Following instructions I applied the stripper with a brush. After about 15 minutes the paint softened and I was able to scrub it down using steel wool. It worked so well that you couldn’t tell the mailboxes were even painted before.

New product is rubbish.
I have used Diggers paint stripper before and found it effective. Then I recently bought Diggers Paint Stripper Plus from Bunnings. It stated it was low odour and could be left on for long periods. True, but that’s because I may as well have been brushing on oil for all the good it did. An added bonus is that it doesn’t even burn your skin it’s that useless. Save your money.

Crap
Hopeless product. Poor application instructions and didn't strip discoloured oil based stain off deck despite leaving it on for hours. Another product called Polystripper blistered up the oil in seconds. Leave the Diggers product on the shelf.

It's $hit.
$25 down the toilet after buying this crap. Does NOT work in any way, shape or form. It literally stinks, barely attacks the paint it is applied to.
A complete waste of money, effort and time. Never again.

Took it back after seeing review
I bought this prior to research as I happened to be at Bunnings when I remembered I needed something to strip paint from metal. Just as well I decided to do a simple research and gut feel was right. I’m in a hardware store and I want something to strip paint from metal which I was thinking to myself, I need to be in Repco or Super Cheap at the minimum.
Convenience of being at Bunnings nearly cost me $22.

Ineffective product
After reading the plethora of paints and finishes that this stripper is supposed to work on I elected to purchase over other products on the shelf. Sadly have to report it is very ineffective, after 2 applications and 30mins wait the first application and 1 hour the second there was no effect on the Acrylic paint. I now wish I had read and been aware of previous reviews which would have saved me time and money.

It did remove the paint but you had to use so much.
I bought diggers paint stripper from Bunnings and was very disappointed in the results. I then went to a local paint dealer and bought another product and worked twice as better and was 20% cheaper. I would not buy again. Waste of money and my time.

It worked for my purpose
I haven’t used a traditional paint stripper but this worked well for my purpose. I needed to remove multiple layers of paint from my front step, which was stone. I left it on between 30-60mins and then scraped the paint off. In some places it took all the layers off at once and in others I had to reapply a few times and use a scourer for the final bits, but it came up well. A very attractive thing about this product for me was it’s very low odour. I have young kids around the house and didn’t want to mess with something too toxic.

Not fit for purpose
Used Diggers Paint Stripper today to strip paint of wooden door frames. The application instructions on the can are vague in terms of how long to leave the product on the paint or physical signs that would indicate the product was working. I applied a thick coat and expected blistering within a reasonable timeframe. Over an hour later no blithering so I commenced stripping. The product barely works, it is not fit for purpose - I'll be asking Bunnings to swap it for another brand tomorrow

Pretty good
I found this product worked well & the paint started bubbling up almost immediately. However, it seems to only remove one layer of paint upon each application, I found you had to use up to four applications to get back to the wood, which is a lot of work therefore takes a long time.
What was also good was there was very little odour.
Great product if you're only looking to remove top layer of paint.

Waste of money
This product does not do as it says on the tin. Being a Diggers's buyer ( like my father ) I was surprised when it did really nothing to the paint. It took 3 coats over 4 hours just to get it to somewhat turn the old paint into a extremely sticky and hard to scrape off gooey paste. Even then it went hard in the fourth hour. Industrial strength is not what I call it. Couldn't wipe of kiddies water colours.

Diggers rubbish
Diggers industrial strength absolutely useless odour-less porridge. Do not buy this, wasted my water washing it off said painted surface. And rinsed 30 odd dollars straight down the drain. Don't even know what to do with the other 90% of the can of crap.....

Garbage in a can
Does not work on wooden furniture varnish. I spent way too long putting this on for no results at all. The alternative i used before has chewed the paint clean off in 30min.

Product not fit for purpose
This paint stripper was used on a coffee table, but it did not work. It seems a chemical needed for stripping has been removed to make it odourless. A waste of time and money.

Worst Paint Stripper Ever!!! Do not buy!
DO NOT BUY
Waste of your money and time.
this stripper does not work, you have to put too much effort into taking the paint off. (automotive 2k paints)
I spent the best part of 3 hours trying to get this stripper to work, over the years I have used many different brands of strippers and this one is by far the worst I have ever purchased.

Not for stripping paint
If you need to strip paint, do not buy this product.
My purchase was made on the basis that this product contained mildly toxic chemicals (as opposed to the lethal chemical found in most paint stripping products). Life is too short to be messing around with nasty hazards to your health.
I applied the product to an area of around 10sqm. It was applied in accordance with the directions on the tin. After being left for two hours, the only sections which had any signs of effect, were in areas where the paint was already effectively flaking a...Read more
way. In all other areas, the paint was mildly softened. As others have said, the product has only a marginal improvement over soaking the item in water. In areas which had well bonded paint, approximately 15 minutes of scrubbing with a hard bristle brush was required to remove the paint; 15 minutes per 10sqCM area. Sadly, it seems that stripping paint still requires highly toxic products. For me, I'll stick with electric sanding and deal with the dust and noise.Similar opinion?
