It's an awesome model I love it!, it cleans and dries perfectly, it's very quiet. Takes away grease and hard to reach places, foods that are baked on comes off as soon as the cycle finishes. No need to dry them, so simple to just put away. I wouldn't be without it. After entertaining friends pop them into the dishwasher and they are done within the hour!
When ever dishes need to be washed, load-em up I go!...when the cycle is finished, I always check that the dishes are well cleaned and rinsed afterwards and never disappoints. My dishlex is quiet as a mouse as though I forgot the dish-washer is running. I love the design & the brand-name, the stainless steel makes me feel way cool.

My new Dishlex dishwasher is the best thing I have purchased for my kitchen in some time.
The dishes come out sparkling clean and no drying required. When working you would not hear it running.
I love the way it is so easy to load and also my favorite feature is that it dose not need pre rinsing.
I would happily recommend it to anyone.

Dishlex has always been the brand of choice for a dishwasher in our house. We have found them to be reliable with excellent performance and this unit continues to tick those boxes. Nice large capacity with energy efficient design ensures low running costs but most important it gets the job done right first time everytime.

Overall this is a good machine. Its not too loud and gives the dishes a good clean. With a choice of cycles i can use an eco clean for lightly soiled dishes or a hot pots wash for heavier soiled ones. Lots of space for different sized dishes- my last machine didn't fit my extra large plates which was so annoying. .this machine fits everything. Highly recommended

This is without a doubt the best value for money dishwasher available. I have had expensive European dishwashers in my other houses and this beats them hands down. It uses very little water and electricity without compromising the quality of the wash. It's nice and quiet and also has the quick 30minute wash option which is just great. It's very affordable compared with the expensive European models but still looks great and performs great.

Received a replacement dishwasher DSF6106 from Dishlex because the first one (DSF6105) kept breaking down and the supply of parts was going to take from 5th January 2017 to late February 2017.
Two weeks after the installation of the replacement dishwasher it broke down. The authorised repair person said it would take 7 to 10 working days for them to obtain the replacement part. Found out today it's being installed on Thursday 2nd March 2017. If it breaks down again this year, I will be seeking a refund!
When the dishwasher actually work...
Read mores, it seems okay. It doesn't wash very well though. I wouldn't consider it noisy. We used to have a very old Fisher Paykel dishwasher which worked well for many years. Wish we had done more research on Dishlex. Extremely disappointed in their products. I believe they come from Poland. The long wait for parts makes me wonder if they're also coming from there. Would I recommend Dishlex? No way! In two months we've only had a dishwasher for 15 days and not all of those days provided a satisfactory wash. The rest of the time has been waiting for repairers, parts and a replacement dishwasher. We are tired of washing up by hand!!Related Articles

Takes a long time on cycles . Cant get rid of smells . It is not dirty i clean it regularly . Disinfect . Have bought deoderisres .Nothing helps . Was cheaper than others . Should have spent more and got something a little better. Hope it breaks soon so i can get something else
After fitting it properly it is working well. Dishes come out beautiful, glasses spotless. I use the 30 minute cycle and when it's finished I open the door and the steam dries everything perfectly. Quiet operation. Only thing I don't like is that the dishes sit the wrong way and if you load it from the rear first it can tip the basket up. I prefer the dishes to sit the other way but never mind. Not a fan of the top shelf as I don't seem to get many cups/glasses in but at least it doesn't break my wine glasses as the last one did. Nice st...

Lower part of the door stuck out and so it wouldn't open fully but my son pushed it in so it's all ok. Bought this dishwaher on sale for under $500. Cleans everything extremely well with no residue or food being left on anything.
Silent running and easy to use.
Pop in a soap tablet and close the door.
Economical on water use and power.
Was very easy to install without the need of a plumber which was a real bonus.
My first dishwasher. I had used many others so i was pleased to have clean dry dishes not always my experience of other dishwashers. The noise is less than others that i have used too so a big plus. Mine is a basic machine so i'm happy its easy to pack and plenty of room. I had no trouble cleaning the filters so all good. Overall no troubles or problems.

My last dishwasher finally died after 15 years and I was looking for a replacement that was easy to operate with efficiencies in water and electricity usage. After view countless dishwashers I decided to keep it simple and go for a dishwasher that was easy and straight forward to use and I selected the Dishlex DSF6106 in Stainless Steel and it has been working a treat. It is simple to use and cleans everything so all dishes and glasses are sparking when they come out of the washer. I like that it has a half wash function and a quick function also. A big bonus is that this dishwasher is energy and water efficient plus there is very little noise when it was operating. I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought this dishwasher for a rental property. It's sturdy inside and looks nice on the outside. Works well for the money I paid. Would be handy to have a cutlery tray/ drawer instead of the cutlery basket. It's quieter than my old dishwasher. It doesn't have as many Wash cycle options as some more expensive dishwashers have,

Ordered online, was a little larger than the specification listed in advertising, overcame this - just had to remove a small strip off Bench to fit it in. Short 30 mins cycle cleans and works really well. Have not had to use longer cycle yet. Small household so it's used daily, I would recommend it.
Condensates out of door how and will ruin the Blackwood around dishwasher how do we fix this problem it fits under bench although a freestanding model
If pushed in any more than it is it will rot out under bench
Washes dishes ok but the condensation out of door isn't right

Cleans dishes well, does not dry quite as well, top rack particularly and particularly bottoms of wine glasses
Relatively loud compared with others l have owned but as l put in on during the day it is not a major problem.

I got this dishwasher with my new house I just built so did not get to choose which one. I have had other dishwashers in the past from cheap to exxy so have some experience with them. I have to say I'm glad I never looked up a review for this dishwasher before moving in otherwise I may have spent money upgrading something I didn't.
I have had this dishwasher for 3 weeks and its used at least once to twice a day with our family of 5. I do use rinse aid and use Coles dishwashing tablets - so nothing fancy. I think it is great.

Read moresed the Eco cycle everytime as I wanted to see how well it worked before I changed to a dearer running cycle. I honestly didn't expect it to do very well as my past dishwashers never have on Eco, either the dishes were not really clean or they were still very wet. I have found the Eco setting cleans my dishes wonderfully and I do not rinse before putting dishes in, so they go in dirty and just have scraps wiped off. I do clean the top filter after each load because of this. The dishes always have come out complete dry as well which was a lovely shock for me. This dishwasher also run so quiet I don't even hear it running. Only reason I know its going is from its flashing lights. This is great as the kitchen is in the middle of my house and my last dishwasher could be heard from down the street.- 3 reviews

The only thing this device has in common with a dishwasher is that it occupies the space in the kitchen where an actual dishwasher would go. To put it mildly, it’s a complete disgrace and the worst appliance we’ve ever experienced.
After struggling with it for 2 months now and having experimented with every conceivable stacking pattern and tablet we now hand-wash everything – it’s never succeeded in washing a single item. At the end of every wash, even after leaving it all night, everything is saturated inside. It removes no food whatsoev...
Read moreer and I’m not sure how it’s possible but items come out dirtier than they went in, as an example, a glass that’s only had water in it comes out smeared and greasy… We fastidiously dry the tablet compartment and every time the tablets just end up as a soaking lump in the bottom and the bottom draw repeatedly falls off its track. Hopeless, hopeless, hopeless… Dishlex, you are producing a lemon and I can’t see how you still have the gall sell this item, it’s flying the flag for Dishlex/Electrolux and what a sad indictment on what was once a great brand. Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), most products and services bought in Australia (from 1 January 2011) come with automatic guarantees that the items or services will work and do what you asked for. Amongst other things, a product must “do all the things someone would normally expect them to do”. Does this dishwasher do this? Clearly not. Dishlex, I think it’s time you took it back.Hi Charlie,

This dishwasher is very quiet and gets the dishes very clean even on the econo cycle. It can take a lot of dishes in the bottom rack, but is not so good on the top. I also found the controls a little bit confusing at first, but once you get used to them they're pretty simple to understand.

My dishes come out filthy most of the time. The door even has food left on it after I have done the pot cycle for dishes that are hardly dirty. I've had the dishwasher for 5 months and I'm throwing it out to go back to an asko. I hate this dishwasher it is hopeless.
Hi Aimm,

Thanks but I had to take it to the dump and buy a dishwasher that actually works.

Before I purchased this dishwasher I read a lot of reviews on different brands and it was confusing me so I'm glad I just went and bought the dishlex. I have had no problems it is very quiet with the dishes coming out clean on the 30 minute wash. I'm a very happy customer.

This DISHLEX freestanding dishwasher is a gem !!!!! It does an excellent job on the 30 min cycle which saves so much on your electricity bill. There is a 1/2 load function which is really handy too. In the past we have had European dishwashers and truly this Dishlex beats them hands down !! It is very quiet at 51 dbl. Just remember to open the dw after a cycle and let the steam escape. The next morning all the plastic containers are dry. We thoroughly recommend this model to anyone looking at buying a new dw but dont want to pay the earth !
