Long lasting tyres
I bought four tyres for my Toyota Cambry Altis when they give me "buy 3 and get 1 for free" offer. I am really happy about tyre performance, and noice level.
Purchased in July 2021 for $432.00.

Good tyres and good value for money
Got this in replacement of Yokohama tyres in the Subaru, really decent everyday tyres for travelling. The tyres was really highly recommended from the place I got it and the value for money is really worth it. The tyres has thread for everyday use. I recently used it to drive up to the moutains and it was a smooth ride.

Good Tyre for the price
Got these for my 2007 Corolla Sedan and so far they have been good. Road noise is less (Goodyears that i had before were terrible with that). Handling, cornering has improved (City driving 50-80 kph) and wet road performance has been good so far (120 - 130 kph on wet Arnhem Highway and 100 kph on the same road in light rain). Lets see how they wear in extreme heat up here in NT.
PS - If you drive your performance car like a (expletive) idiot, then do not blame the tyres if you lose control or swerve.

23k and they are gone
Had 4 of the SP LM 704’s fitted on our Honda Euro. After 23k they are shot. Have had Dunlop’s and Michelin tyres before and the Dunlop’s are the worse tyres by a long way. We are pretty sedate drivers but have found that the back of the car would move around particularly in the wet and the mileage is terrible.

Great Handling at Competitive Price
Fitted to Falcon Sedan, took dealer recommended tyre pressure at Beaurepaires Midland, and have been great handling and minimal road noise. Very secure when driving on wet roads. Fitted price was very competitive for 4 tyres. Dealer had many other tyres to supply so choice was easy option. Not the cheapest or dearest but most suitable. Safe and secure when driving through heavy rain

Good on a Subaru Forester
I bought 4 of these at Beaurepaires. Same good service as reported by another reviewer here.
I didn't want top of the line but something good and safe. The tyres are not too noisy, I've had noisy tyres before. They have been great locally and on the freeway, braking has been faultless. It feels like the car has been slightly lifted and straightened, even though my last tyres were pretty good and evenly worn.
The other reviews are helpful, I wish I read them prior to purchase. Especially where people say the tyres have soft side walls that affect cornering and fuel consumption. I don't do fast corners so I hope they'll be ok.
Haven't had them long enough to say if they would be a 5 star tyre.

Good, durable tyre: excellent profile
Great tyres and excellent value for money with fantastic after sales service provided by Beaurepaires.
The tyres are good in the wet, low noise and comfortable ride. Feel safe in tight corners when hard pressed and a good tyre for sealed and unsealed surfaces. Got 4 at a good price including balancing and a wheel alignment all included

Perfect tyres for my car
I'm using lm704 for 4 years, i think this is the best tyre for daily use. Better grip on dry & wet road, never slipped or spinning. a little bit noisy on highway, but i don't care to the outside noise, i have good audio to skip noise from outside. I love lm704 performance. Good job dunlop.

Yeah, they're pretty good
I don't put a lot of miles on this car so I tend to replace the tyres once they're getting old rather than when they're worn out, so I can't attest to longevity. I'm using them on a 1979 W116.
I've only had them on the car for a few hundred kms but I can say they offer good dry weather performance, good wet weather performance and good balance and grip under hard braking. High speed performance is very balanced and confident all the way up to 100mph. Tread is grippy and offers good feel and good water displacement in the wet. Very quiet at s...Read more
peed. Sidewall is soft and doesn't offer particularly good support. Under hard cornering you can feel the tyres rolling over onto the sidewall and you can feel the car moving laterally. I'm running 36psi at the front and 38psi at the rear to firmen them up a tad. I've read reviews for these tires on other sites that have mentioned poor wet weather performance but I haven't found that to be the case at all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Love my car more now!
Very good handling tyres, much better than the stock turanza er300 that come on my car. Went for some spirited driving in the Hunter Valley and handles really well. Wet grip is good too, could actually get some speed around corners with a very slick concrete road service that I used to crawl around. Also had to stop in an emergency and it from about 50km/hr and it pulled up very quickly. Fairly quiet for tyres on such a big car. I have 225/60r16, 98v fitted and they are made in Thailand (as are a lot of things these days). I got them for $122 each and would definitely recommend them. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I've only had them for about 1000 km and am unsure of life span.

Comfort tyres
Comfortable tyres with soft sidewalls, as such tends to lean into corners. Thus handling and consumption suffers. Made in Asia for Asian markets.

What's the problem with the performance of this tire in the wet? Does it tend to aquaplane? Looking to get these as a replacement for my Yokohama A300's but I'm not sure of how safe these are when I'm on a wet expressway.

I do not have any problems in the wet.
I think they're OK in the wet.
I have a set of these on Camry 2006 and they are diabolical in the wet. I wonder if the tyres are different between factories, or cars. They fail to grip on braking and spin at the lights. Mine are almost new and I am getting rid of them before I write the car off.

Hi there, I'm getting tyres for my Lexus RX 350 & was just wondering if Dunlop lm 704 are good tyres size of tyres are 235/55r18 any recommendations?

I won't recommend them. They are not performance tyres. I am sure there are others better suited for your car.
I had these on my Octavia RS, possibly the worst tyres i've ever had, scare the bejuses out of me in the wet, although not too bad as a summer tyre and do wear well, I have gone back to conti's.
