Dryer that doesnt dry
I am having the same problem as everyone else, the issue is that the clothes in my dryer is absolutely damp and can't dry them no matter what setting you put them on. I have just purchased this from Harvey Norman and I will be ringing them to come and get this. No matter what setting we have it on, it will not dry. Its a joke that your washing has to go for 4 hours and its still not dry? This product needs to be recalled. Terrible

Happy with the dryer!!
Really happy with this Electrolux heat pump dryer, has so many programs to suit different fabrics and drying needs. Clothes come out perfectly dry and crisp. It is energy efficient, so easy on your pocket and very easy to use. Easy to clean and install. Definitely worth the money you spend.

Dryer that doesn't dry
This dryer doesn't dry. I have had 2 queen sheets in today going for a total of 7 hours and 35 minutes and still not dry. It also tumbles sheets/towels into a ball and you have to continually check to loosen them so some heat/air can get to them. Had it on 'extra dry setting' but doesn't get any where near dry. Was a fan of Electrolux and happy with my old washer and dryer. Paid a lot for the new combo and would never buy Elextrolux again. Dryer was 3 times cost of a normal dryer. Customer service was very unhelpful and didn't care. The sale o...Read more
f this product as a dryer is fraudulent as it simply doesn't dry. Worst purchase we have ever made. Harvey Norman didn't care either. How can this continue to be sold as a dryer? Definitely not energy efficient as it goes and goes and goes and still doesn't dry. Not even worth of 1star rating.1 comment

No service support
Purchased the EDH3786GDW July 2016 from Bi-Rite Electrical, dryer seemed to work ok, some loads dried others were still very damp when cycle had finished. After reading the manual in full made the necessary adjustments from the default settings and this made a difference. 3 weeks ago after a drying a load there was not any water in the in the water tank (water tank and lint filter cleaned after every use). After checking over the machine discovered there was water in the bottom of the dryer, used a towel to soak up the water and dusted of the...Read more
condenser (just in case) and put another load in to dry and the same thing happened again, water in the bottom of the dryer. I then called Electrolux for an authorised repairer and was given 2 repairers, one of which does not do repairs any longer. On the 29/08/2017 I rang the other repairer He busy this week will get back to me. 06/09/2017 Rang again as he hadn’t got back to me, he didn’t do a job card. 07/09/2017 Came out, diagnostics show no error, pump working. Told repairer I would do a load when I came home from work and would ring tomorrow. *Ran load and water did not pump up to tank, left water in bottom of dryer for repairer to see 08/09/2017 Left msg, water did not pump into tank, clothes dried. 11/09/2017 Did follow up call, repairer explained he did not get back till late on Friday night and was very busy Saturday, but I still had to ring him back. *Advised repairer I would be working and would be off Wednesday. 13/09/2017 5.02pm rang repairer, he advised he had spoken to another tech person who advised it would need a part which he said he would have ordered on Monday and normally takes at least 4 days but could be longer and he would let me know when he gets it and can come out and fit it to machine. Stayed home all day waiting for some sort of contact, nothing. 13/09/2017 Rang 1300 363 640 I was told I have to go on what the repairer says, they don’t have any control over them. Keep needing to chase repairer he does not respond to any msgs.5 comments

rcles Electrolux took ownership of the issue (after the initial visit from the repairer did not resolve the issue) and they provided with a new dryer, not too often that happens without a battle. Good, quiet dryer! Buttons a bit temperamental
This dryer has been great for our household, as we only have a European laundry and it fits perfectly on our Bosch washing machine, with a non-slip mat. The dryer is quiet and always creates an even dry. One problem is the buttons are a bit temperamental, meaning sometimes you briefly press it and the machine turns on, other times you need to hold your finger on it. Also the knob that you turn to choose your cycle is often delayed, and you turn it and it needs to catch up to the cycle listing. It makes me worried that the buttons and turn knob ...Read more
won't last the distance. One minor issue was we purchased metal clips to avoid having to buy the non-slip mat, and the sales person told us they were a better option, but they did not fit the dryer and washer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Happy with it
I agonised over this decision. Used to have a cheap Fisher & Paykel vented dyer that has lasted 11 years and still going, but needed a new dryer so that the laundry would not get mouldy. The reviews for condenser and heat pump dryers, in general, seem to be poor. Lots of people complaining about clothes not drying properly, or sheets rolling into a ball and not drying.
This machine is pretty good. I adjusted the settings immediately (per the review below, but also per the instruction manual) for maximum dryness. If you don't put in a massiv...Read more
e load of clothes, and you don't mix normal clothes with very large items (e.g. sheets) then the results are good. The clothes come out dry, but not very hot and toasted. This must mean that the machine is much more gentle on clothes than a vented dryer. As you would expect, there is no hot warm air in your laundry. The machine is also quiet. It's easy to keep clean - you empty out the lint collector after each load, and about once a month you vacuum the condenser. I've done this once and it was easy to access. I used the hose to plumb the water straight into a drain. This is quite handy. Overall, pretty happy. Got it for a good price (around $1050) which was much cheaper than the Miele I was also considering. This dryer has reverse tumbling to prevent sheets being rolled into a ball. So does the Miele, but most other dryers (even much more expensive ones) don't. Not sure why, when my $400 F&P did!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good option for European laundry
Nice dryer for European laundry. Not creating much condensation around or too much noise. Can be placed on top of washing machine. Quite economical with five star energy rating. Doesn't make clothes fade away colours or affect quality of material. Different options for cotton & synthetic clothes. Only drawback so far found is sometimes it doesn't dry out clothes completely at lower timing options.

Perfect
This dryer is peefect for these winter months, doesn't take long at all for your clothes, towels, bedding, blankets etc to dry.
Clothes are not coming out creased, so no need for ironing just a fold and straight to the draws.
Straight forward and really simple to use as well.

Love it
I have never had a dryer like this before, but noe i would never have the other style.
This one doesnt blow any air out into the laundry, rather it condenses the moisture and drips it into the sink via a hose. This is a great design.
It is quieter than my old dryer and does not increase the humidity in the laundry. Well worth the price.

Great Dryer
I purchased this dryer in April 2017 and at first I didn't like it but I now realise that was because I was so used to the old style dryer which cooked the clothes. Now I really like it. It is more gentle on the clothes, love the no lint or condensation in the laundry and the clothes are much softer than with old style dryer. The savings on power mean I don't have to use outside line which is great as I have neighbours on both sides who run wood fires day and night and I was always having to rewash laundry full of smoke.

Love it !!
Might take a while to dry things but being an 8kg non commercial drier I expected that it would take longer than my previous 5 kg dryer. It's great! No moisture in the room and its quiet .. I love it and despite the hefty price tag, would buy again. Best investment!

I really like this dryer
I like the fact that my room doesn't get damp like it did with an ordinary dryer. I also love that it uses much less electricity per cycle and so I don't have to worry too much about how many loads I'm doing as I have a big family. As others have said if you don't get dry results try changing the settings.

You need to adjust the settings.
We bought this brand new from Harvey Norman a few weeks ago. I was pretty disappointed that we let them talk us into it at first as the thing wouldn't dry our clothes very well at all! I would put a load in (within capacity) and put it on the "super dry" setting and everything would still come out damp at the end of the two hour cycle. Clothes would take two cycles at least and towels or sheets would take 3 or 4. I thought we bought a dryer that doesn't dry!
Then I realised I never changed the default settings. There's a section in the manua...Read more
l called "Adjustment of the remaining laundry moisture degree." On another paper that came with the dryer it said this was the setting for hard/medium/soft water. Basically, my dryer was on the default CO 3 dash setting and loads weren't drying. They would come out damp or even still wet every time. I changed this to the CO 1 dash setting and now everything dries after one cycle. I also love that this dryer does not heat up our laundry room or make it humid. We had a huge issue with the old dryer with moisture and mold building in the laundry room and lint and dust sticking to the walls because of it. We don't have that problem anymore. We also hooked the hose up from the reservoir to the sink so I never have to worry about emptying it. Very convenient. Only thing I have to do now is change the lint filter each load, which is standard for any dryer. After adjusting those settings, I'm very satisfied with the dryer. If you've lost the manual, this is how I changed the settings on my model EDH3786GDW: press on, wait 8 seconds, press buttons A and B at the same time - which were the "time" and "delay" buttons on my model, press the E button to cycle through the three options - which was the "start/pause" button on my model, then hold A and B buttons for about 2 seconds to save the setting. I changed mine from the default CO 3 dash to CO 1 dash.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

We purchased this dryer along with a washing machine three weeks ago for our European laundry in our new apartment.
I have searched multiple times for information on why we are not collecting any water in the water tank. Instead we have condensation developing around the function knob and along the outside of the water tank. I changed the drying level as per the instructions and this has cleared up some of the condensation, however there is still no water in the tank. There is also no information about how to attach the clear hose that came with the dryer.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
The lack of information available is quite frustrating.
