Advertised as gentle on the ears but not quite
I upgraded from a 20-year-old Electrolux washer-dryer combo to a new washer and heat pump dryer. I bought it on 19/07, and everything seems fine. On 7/08, I noticed the dryer got a constant semi-loud buzzing sound. I recorded it and tried to get the seller and Electrolux to verify if that is normal. But no luck at all. The Electrolux support call centre is an utter joke. I was told to let the support person hear the buzzing sound through the phone, but obviously, it would not work. ... Read moreve anyone technical there to confirm. Why in the hell do you ask to listen through the phone? Treating me like an idiot. It has been 2 months since I gave up calling their support centre. I will attempt to return this lemon crap. Electrolux is no longer a reliable brand, and worse regarding its call center. Update: The Electrolux technician is really helpful. He explained thoroughly what caused the noise. Though it was advertised as gentle on the ears, I am not sure about that. But it is working as it should. Happy with it
