Buttons too far apart on arms...DANGEROUS
ErgoCocoon 0.2 togSo, we just woke up to our baby with her arm wedged in between the button holes, a freezing cold arm (circulation cut off and cold weather) and a nice, big tourniquet mark around her arm. She is using the 3 to 12 months size, which is a good fit on her. I've used the tog 1's until the weather changed recently. I wasnt completely happy with them, but they weren't going to harm her irreversibly, so continued using them. One extra button, manufacturers!!!! One extra button on each side could prevent this from happening. Our baby can't do this in the tog 1's because of the stretch factor. I'm starting to think I need to design baby products as there is so many dangerous or poorly thought through products out there. Not impressed.
Love it!
ErgoCocoon 1.0 togI'm surprised at the other reviews. Obviously I'm not going to put my baby in a sleeping bag that is too big for her as thins creates a suffocation risk, as with any sleeping bag on the market. I love the Ergopouch because it's cotton and bamboo, not polyester to make bub sweat. It has a two way zipper, plus a clip at the top of the zipper in case it comes down, thus preventing bub slipping into the bag. We bought a few brands of bag, but will only buy these now.
Perfectly dangerous
ErgoCocoon 1.0 togThe sizing of these is silly 0-3 or 3-12 months. My 6kg 4 month old was too big for the 0-3 so tried the 3-12 months one. Way too big around his chest, and worse than that as he pulled his hands to his face he covered his face with the thing! He panicked and I woke up to him just shaking his head side to side and gasping, because of his panic he had thrown his arm back into the mattress which was pulling the fabric tighter across his face. DONT RISK IT!
Very BAD
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWhen my baby was born I have bought an ergopouch sleeping bag. It was ok. Than as my baby was growing and kicking the blanket off I have bought two bags. One was the 2.5 Tog owl bag and the other one is the 1 Tog blue bag. The 2.5 Tog after one winter and maybe 5 washes is unusable. The filling of the bag dissapered so much that there is nothing left to warm my child up. The 1 Tog has 3 layers and the inside layer sewed in a mishape so it's kinda wrinkly from the inside therefor it's very uncomfortable. I am very dissapointed can't describe. I

Love it!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagAn excellent product backed by excellent service. I have used these since birth as we didn't want bubs to get tangled in wraps. Was very happy with the feel of the fabric and how they were made and they have held up to being washed multiple times. Loved the zipper which allows access from top and bottom so easy to change in the middle of the night. And I have a pretty good night sleeper so I think they are helping.
like that you can bring babies arms out as they learn to roll so they last that bit longer.
Love it!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWe have tried many swaddles with our bub.
The ergo cocoon allows him to move his arms in the swaddle if he wishes and its a tight enough fit to keep him snug. We were unsure of buying a summer one (as winter is coming) but the material is quite thick and keeps him warm too. The material looks like good quality. The arm holes look a little tight but will help me to ease him out of swaddling when he is ready. Bub also cant get his hands out of the top, where his neck is which he could do with other swaddles. The neck looks snug, but its not too tight, He took to this swaddle strait away. We bought two! Love!
Only thing is the arm holes look a little tight, but hes not uncomfortable in it when i pop his arms through the arm holes.
I loved this swaddle
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagThis is one of a few swaddles we tried for my daughter and we liked it so much i bought the next size up when she got to 3 months! We stick with the 0.2 tog and it's a nice, comfy size for her, giving her room to move around inside it while still keeping her arms from startling. The press studs on the arms is a good idea as we are starting to transition her to having one arm out as she sleeps.
I like the light weight of it; we slept her in this during the heatwave with her legs out and just a nappy on, and she was very comfortable and stil

ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI was using the ergoCocoon 2.5 tog Swaddle and Sleep Bag. One night baby pushed her arms up inside the swaddle. This caused the sleeping bag to be pushed up around her head. Her entire head was covered with a double layer of sleeping bag when I got up to check on her.
I am in the process of lodging a complaint with consumer affairs. This product is not safe.
Dangerous product - baby could have suffocated, there is synthetic in the fabric (but the implication is all natural fibres), there is a strange chemical smell to the bag for first few washes
Nasty zip
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagGood value wrap which coverts to sleeping bag but zip quality is nasty. The zip clasps digs into the baby's neck. The zipper is also pretty stiff which causes the wrap to lift up at some sections rather than allowing a nice smooth wrap.. Also the clasps at the arm hole are not covered and seem pretty cheap. Fabric itself is quite nice and stretchy. Better quality zip wraps on the market.
Good value for money
Nasty zip and armhole clasps

Loved it, saved time and the hassle of wrapping
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI bought a 3-12 month swaddle as I was told the only real difference between that and the smaller size was the length. I'm glad I did as it fitted my newborn baby perfectly anyway.
Bub seemed to take to this swaddle straight away and is quite happy in it. It's saved me lots of time in the night trying to get a muslin wrap centered correctly as all I have to do is zip him up in this one.
The only negative is that he sometimes likes to sleep with both arms up around his head (in the love to dream swaddle position), which means that some of this swaddle material looks like it covers his mouth. I don't think it actually blocks his mouth but I think I'll have to take his arms out of it and use it as a sleep sack soon.
Easy to use
Small sizing, baby hated it
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagThe ergo cocoon looks like a nice quality, comfy product.... But unfortunately our baby just hated it. I bought the size 0-3 months when she was 3 weeks old, and it was incredibly tight on her, especially around the arms. She grunted all night long in discomfort. I did try again with the poppers on the arms undone, but it still seemed to restrictive around her legs and I didn't feel comfortable leaving her in it. I opted for the Bubbaroo Joey Pouch instead, and was much happier. Baby had access to her arms, though couldn't fling them out, and her legs were not restricted at all.
Good quality, nice neutral design
Sizing too small for regular sized babies
Good choice for swaddling baby at home
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagThis is a great product if you're looking for a zip up swaddle to use for your newborn bub. We purchased our Ergococoon from Toys r Us when our little girl was 3 weeks old. I was looking for something which I could use in the car and this was the only one they had in stock which said it could be used in the car - which it can - but you have to take the arms out which kind of defeats the purpose of swaddling (in my opinion). Having said that - If I'd paid closer attention to the box when I bought it, I would have noticed this. However, it is st

It is soft against babies skin, organic which is fantastic for the environment and bub looks pretty darn cute while wearing it. The snaps at the arms will also be good when the time comes to transition bub from swaddle sleeping to sleeping bag sleeping. The main downside i've found is that it doesn't allow bub to self sooth - my little one loves to suck her hands and this swaddle doesn't allow her to do that. Sometimes she sleeps fine while wearing it but at other times she wakes herself up because she can't get her hand to her mouth and becomes frustrated. I also have the "love to dream swaddle up" and I've found it to be a much better all-round swaddle as the hands up position allows bub to be transferred to car and pram without having to remove arms from the swaddle and allows bub to self sooth. But, this is still a good product for what it is. Snaps at armholes allow you transition bub from swaddle sleeping to sleeping bag sleeping. Arms tucked in doesn't allow bub to self sooth, can't use in a car without taking arms out, thus removing the swaddled effect.Find out how ErgoPouch ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping Bag compares to other Baby Wraps

Nice & cosy
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWe bought 2 for our twins (2.5 tog) - 2 in 1 hybrid, size 3-12 months. We bought them going into winter, and found them to be lovely and warm. I really think it did help our bubs sleep better, as they were held snug by the swaddle...but converted to sleeping bag as they got older. They were really beautifully made, and felt they would definitely outlive our baby needing them.
Extremely well made, with beautiful plush fabric and vibrant colours. Easy to zip up and cleans easily in the wash.
Might have been the shape of our twins, but it was a little narrow across their chest. So it did not sit very flat on their chest & caused it to ride up to their chin a little. Though wouldn't of happened with my eldest child.
Ergopouch ergococoon swaddle
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWas too small for my baby even though I brought the right age group. Zip broke on it so I sent it back to company where they kindly replaced it as I hadn't had it long, used new one that they sent out and that two only lasted 2 weeks before that zip broke as well, ended up getting money back and will never buy one again... material is great just not safe.

ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI used this as a transition to sleeping bag with my 6 month olds arms out as he had just started to roll. This product had been used approx 6 times in total and when I went to get baby up the press stud had come off the bag and was sitting in cot next to baby who mouthed everything! Thank god I got to it before him.
I sent the company a letter and photo and they asked me to send it in to them for safety examination and they would replace it. I had to pay $8 in postage and line up with 2 young kids at post office to do this but I did as I thou
Stops those hands escaping
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI used several different style wraps and swaddled with my daughter and none of them kept her wrapped all night, she always escaped. Now with my 2 month old son I purchased an Ergo Cocoon and it's the only swaddle to keep his arms wrapped all night. He could not escape. And sleeps much better. Also it's lightweight for summer use.
Baby can not get arms out
Best baby buy ever!!!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagThe ErgoCocoon is amazing, we first bought 2 in 0-3 month size for our DD when she was 5weeks old, she slept through immediately and has slept through since. Her daytime sleeps improved and they helped her settled for the big 12hr night time sleep! We eventually bought another 3 in the 3-12 month size which she has only just grown out of. I only bought the light weight ones as it suits our climate best and it's easier to dress them accordingly underneath. Now that she's outgrown her cocoons, she now sleeps in the ergopouch bamboo sleeping bag which is equally impressive! Big thumbs up ErgoPouch, I recommend you to all my expecting friends an family!
Lightweight, quick drying, variety in colours, weights, sizes! Affordable and easy to use!
Bought 3 to stop the swaddle stress
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagHad one for bub as a newborn and started to use it around the 2.5month mark, decided to buy another 3 for in rotation once she was 3 months old. Easy to use and access to nappy for changes during the night, at 5m she's sleeping with her arms out and insists on moving around her cot and rolling onto her tummy in it. Contemplated another bag to stop all the movement, but she seems happy with the tummy sleeping. Only issue is she's cut her lower chin on the zipper quite a few times - skin sensitive from dribble rash
ease of use, dries so quickly
zipper near neck can lead to cuts
Best sleeping wrap ever
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI absolutely love this cocoon. It suits babies right from newborn to about 12mths. The ergo cocoon comes in a few different colors and is perfect for all seasons by dressing bub accordingly underneath. The double ended zip is so convenient and easy to use and allows for use in car seat or pram and for easy nappy changes. The press stud arm holes allow for ease of transition to having babies arms unwrapped. None of my babies have managed to escape this wrap yet
Easy to use
Happy Mum
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI bought the Ergo Pouch because my 3 month old son kept fighting his way out of his wrap. My first 2 children had no trouble being wrapped, but I needed something extra for #3. The ergo pouch is perfect for my son because he needed his arms held firmly in front of his body and this is exactly what this sleeping bag does. I would highly recommend it if your baby needs to be wrapped, but keeps getting out of their wrap. The only issue with it is that the zip clasp at the neckline can sometimes point towards babies neck if you don't make sure i

Our baby is 6kg and the 3 - 12 month swaddle is firm on him. My baby could still move his arms around within the swaddle enough to keep him happy, but he was sufficiently restrained The zip clasp was a bit annoying around the neck.Frustrated my baby and sizing was off
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagThis cocoon didn't swaddle my 9 week old baby, it swallowed him. He became very frustrated having his arms smooshed closely on his chest. I bought 0-3 months and it was too small and too tight. The garment is good quality and well made, just not right for my baby. Price was $29.95 at Babies R US.

too small of sizing, too tight fitting, no room for arms to lay in a comfortable sleeping position
Worked great for my 10 week old son!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagFantastic product! My 10 week old son just had the best nights sleep he has ever had wearing the Ergococoon sleeping from 8pm to 3am and then after a feed and nappy change from 4am to 7am!
He has had a problem from birth with waking himself up with his hands and scratching his face in his sleep. Every night he would wake himself up around 3-5 times from doing this. I would then often have to put him back down mutiple times as he would keep waking himself up! Normal wrapping wouldn't work either he is a strong little man and would bust right
... Read more out of it! So I bought the Ergococoon from Toys R Us yesterday as i thought it looked perfect for my son and it is! I seriously doubt its just a coincidence that he suddenly slept so well. Plus I only had to put him back down once after his 3am feed! Also love that you can convert it so the arms can come out when ready and the double zipper for a quick nappy change. I'm looking forward to some great nights sleeps in the future! Baby felt snug yet could get his arms into a comfortable position with out waking himself up! Sizing a bit odd. Bought the 2-3 months which fits great, however the 3-6 months looks huge!Pretty good sleeping bag!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI just purchased the Ergo Cocoon Swaddle Sleeping Bag 3-12 months after my baby outgrew the Love to Dream Swaddle which is a small size. I wanted a sleeping bag that she could use to transition into the GroBag which we have for when she is 6 months plus (she is currently 4 months old).
The Ergo Cocoon Swaddle is great because you can have the arms both out, one arm out or both arms in the swaddle. It has a large zip down the centre (which incidentally is my biggest issue - it doesn't zip as well as the Love to Dream Swaddle).

Now that it's autumn, if she's cold I keep her in it during the day with her arms out during the awake times. A great Swaddle/Sleeping bag! Relatively inexpensive compared to the Love to Dream swaddle. You can have arms out if you like. The zip was not as good as the Love to Dream SwaddleErgo Cocoon Swaddle
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI have 2 sizes of these (0-3 months and the 3 to 12 mths). My baby is just at 2.88 kg at 7 days old and the 0-3 months pouch is still way too small as a swaddle. i find it too tight that the neck is too tight around her making the zipper too close and keep grazing on her chin even with the zipper protection cover attached. The cover doesn't even cover the zipper properly. Very disappointed with product.
Fabric is breathable and soft. Can be used as a sleeping bag with arms out only
Too tight as a swaddle and need to fix the zipper cover
Have you considered that you might have a faulty item? Mine fitted perfectly for a 2.5month old in the 0-3m size
My Baby Boy Loves his ErgoCocoon Swaddle
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagMy son is now 13 weeks old and has always loved to be swaggled, but he was such a little wiggler and strong that he always got out of the wraps before he would get to sleep and want to be wrapped again, as he was born in Summer we needed to find something that was thin material so he wasnt too hot. The ergococoon is his security blanket as soon as I vip him up his calm and ready to relax.
Light Material, Zip up so Baby cant wiggle out, strechy material so baby can move around easily inside, reasonable price
Great product only wish i had it for my first grandson.
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWell it is eco friendly for a start and no chemicals or pesticides in the fabric. My third grandson sleeps so soundly and doesn't awake when he may jump in the middle of the night. I also have sent over to Ireland the wonderful sleeping bags as well. They sure loved them.
Making my grandson feel very secure and safe and having a good night sleep and during the day
Could be better
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI brought this yesterday, wanting to use it on my 16week old baby (9wks corrected), he wriggles out of any wrap I put him in, though when my husband swaddles him tight he usually stays put, but as i am often home by myself at night I can't rely on swaddling him well enough, I always seem to get up once a night to re swaddle, and my baby has started to sleep through the night, so him sleeping right through is important! The ergo pouch is easy to use, but is thin, when we swaddled him, we heard him making noise at 4.30am and we found him right at

ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI purchased this product when my little one was getting out of the muslin wraps but not quite ready for a sleeping bag (about 3 months). I think the "pseudo" freedom she got with her arms free but still contained probably frustrated her a little. I also found that the holes between the press studs in the arm slots were too large and I often found her with her fingers caught in them during the night. I have found it much more useful now she is older and able to go into it with her arms free. I have also started using it under other sleeping b

However, at 9 months the 3-12 month bag is already way too small across the shoulders and she can barely fit her arms in the arm holes. Slimline fit-nice and snug. Lightweight fabric - great for summer. Poor sizing-the 3-12 month bag is way too small for older babies (>9months). Risk of fingers getting caught out of the arm holes when press studs closed.Loved it
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWe bought an Ergo Pouch before bub was born and found it essentially. We were first time parents and not very good at swaddling a squirming baby. The zip up design was much easier and able to do without waking up bub. We bought a spare pouch within the first 2 weeks.
Easy to use. Easy to dream feed in.
Very handy baby item
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI bought 2 of these after my baby started escaping from normal wraps. She was still quite little (4 months) and needed to be wrapped due to a strong startle reflex and I was also keen to use these to start to wean her off wrapping when she was old enough.
I bought two in pink at 0.5 tog (we lived in QLD) in the 3-12 month size. They were very reasonably priced and also a good size. The material is stretchy, but warm and very soft. The fabric seemed to wear and wash well.
The features of this product are pretty good - there are press stud

I believe you can also buy sleepy wings that fit these so bub can have hands up rather than pinned to their sides. The zip runs the length of the cocoon and has the option to open at the other end for nappy changes without disturbing the baby. My only issue with this item is the little flap at the top of the zip which is supposed to cover the zip tag, but doesn't really do the job that well, especially after several washes when it seems to shrink up a bit. This product fit our needs very well, and I will probably order some winter weight ones as our baby tends to kick off her blankets in the night and get cold. Easy to use, lightweight, comfy for bub. Not a lot, but zip cover didn't work wellFab
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI purchased this before bub was born because I knew he'd be a wriggler and boy was I right. This secures him so that he is unable to get his arms out.
It does give room to move their arms about which isn't great if a baby likes being swaddled tightly so we do use muslin over the top to swaddle our boy, but, he'd be able to get out of that on its own so this definitley isn't a waste of time or money.
These are very thin so it's definitley a summer item and isn't designed to replace blankets. We are soon to move into the sleeping bags because h

ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagMy 4 1/2 month old had gone from one feed a night back to two, but I had a feeling she was only waking because she was getting out of her wrap and either the change in temperature disturbed her, or she just wanted to play! So when I discovered the cocoon last week I was very excited to try it. Then I read the reviews on this site (this was before the most recent one), and felt quite deflated. This product is definitely worth a try, don't be turned off by the negative comments on other reviews, perhaps they have improved the product.Has pros and cons!!!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagNot bad... but not one of the best.... the material is amazing... its just so sad that the zipper lets them down every single time. ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagLightweght material with a smaller zipper. Material wears thin after a short while. Toys r us only had two colours dark grey and hot pink so we bought dark grey for our son though im still not a fan of putting him into a dark grey swaddle as it looks morbid on a cute baby.
Up to 11kg weight.
Poor quality material considering the price, expensive
Wonderful organic baby swaddle
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagMy daughter used this from birth until 2 months and it was a godsend. Initially we had all sorts of trouble trying to use a traditional swaddle blanket, such a pain to get right. So when we saw this on the market we thought it had to be worth a try. And it was, easy to get on on and provided relatively quiet nights for rather tired parents
Comfy, organic, easy to use, lovely design
Quality not as good as I expected
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI have recently brought a 1.0 TOG ergo cocoon and a ergo hybrid 2.5 TOG, when i received the product, i noticed that the seams on the arms of the 1.0 TOG ergo cocoon were very poorly sewn, it was really crooked like it was sewn by a beginner (and i'm not exaggerating). Also, when i press the studs together, the sides doesn't match up leaving quite a big open hole/a bump on the arms. It was not of a production quality that i expect of a well advertised product. I hope they will work to improve that, the materials are soft to the touch which is g

ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagWe were given the ergoCocoon as a gift but have since bought another. My infant son likes to be swaddled but had mastered getting his arms out of his muslin swaddle waking himself and kicking his other blankets off. He sleeps all night with the cocoon and stays warm. Great during summer as it's a light fabric. We had an issue with the zip cover on one our cocoons and was promptly sent a replacement after I contacted customer service. Being organic fabric and Australian made are additional benefits.
Simple to use and my infant baby sleeps all night!
Had trouble locating another cocoon in my hometown, had to purchase online.
Great product!
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagMy husband & I were never good at wrapping! So the ergo cocoon has been a really good cheats way out! I've had no problems with workmanship as others have commented on. The cocoon keeps our baby snug & secure & she know knows it's sleep time now when we put it on. We also have the loveme wrap me up which is also good but I still prefer the ergo cocoon the best. It's got the arm poppers so it will be easier to transition when she's a bit older & I think it stops the startle replex a bit better than others
Does the job well :)
Would be perfect but for the zip
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagI loved the ergopouch and thought it was the answer - until my baby started moving its hands about and so dislodged the zip. Unfortunately the fabric zip protector was insufficient to stop the zip from pressing into my baby's throat. In the end, I had to stop using the pouch.
I would be happy to recommend this product if the zipper was fixed - but not until then.
There are lots of pros - I loved this product - but for the one con which meant that I could no longer use it.
The zipper protector does not protect the zipper from moving and so the zipper ended up pressing into my baby's throat.
OK
ErgoCocoon Swaddle and Sleeping BagA satisfactory product - if the faulty zip were to be rectified i would score 5 stars as when it was working baby slept comfortably all night.
* Arms can go in or out of the swaddle.
* Cool for summer.
* Nice colours
* Great stretch in the fabric
zip stopped working after a few weeks - would find baby out of it, which defeats the purpose of the product.
