Clear difference serum - major reaction
I do not have sensitive skin but after using this product my face broke out in small hard pimples on my forehead.. I waited for my skin to clear up and tried the product again and the same problem happens moving to my cheek and chin as well. Really disappointed as it is very pricey and did the opposite of what is says on the bottle.

Customer service does not exhist
I bought a bottle of white linen duty free on April 6th this year at Perth International Airport and was excited to use it..... Atomiser doesn't work...contacted duty free and because I live a fair distance away they couldn't help me but gave me email details. Wrote 2 separate emails to 2 different addresses. And not a single response. Do not want money back . Just a bottle of perfume that works !!! Customer service does not exhist !

Love it
I am using my first ever bottle of Double Wear Denudation and I really like it. It doesnt sit in my fine lines around my eyes and doesnt transfer to my work or mobile phone and it lasts all day. Ive also purchased the double wear lip pencil and I really like that as well. I fill my lips in with it an lippie and gloss over the top and it stays on. Converting to all things Estee Lauder from here on in.

Fantastic product. I think it's really good value for money, you only need to use the tiniest bit and it lasts forever. Really good coverage and it does last a long time however it doesn't stay matte for to long although everyone's skin is different

FIRST TIME BUYER...AMAZING, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
I spent over $300 for the first time ever at Estee Lauder and I do not regret a thing! Amazing coverage....and you don't even need to apply a thick layer. The service was amazing (purchased from Myers in highpoint, Melbourne). I can not recommend this enough, their bronzer is beautiful, not too orange and not shimmery. Best of all, this product is great for your skin! I have very oily skin and found that I stayed matte the whole day while at work and it is very lightweight. Ladies, definitely give this a go. :)

Great coverage, not so easy to wash off :)
love the product great even coverage doesn't feel heavy on the face, looks flawless! does not wear off easily. Not quite sure the lady at the counter was as qualified as she is made out to be though she tried to give me the wrong colour for my face twice! other then that she was lovely but i'm glad i asked for the mirror and picked my colour of preference for her to try on me .

Double Wear Foundation - Good product but is it really worth the price?
I bought my double wear foundation a few months ago and found that it was a decent foundation although I had to question whether it was really worth the fifty dollar price tag. I find that the coverage was medium to full which is a personal favorite of mine and it sat pretty well on my skin although I have combination/oily skin. The product did oxidize and the colour did go a little darker after an hour or so of wear. I do like this product but I find that I often reach for my cheaper/drug store options more often. I believe that if you have wo...Read more
rn this product for a long time and you are satisfied with the price and product to continue using it but for people considering to purchase the double wear foundation, there is cheaper options that in my opinion work just as well or in some cases even better. Cheaper options that I find work well on my combination/oily skin are stay matte by Rimmel, Revlon colourstay and The Matte and Poreless by Maybelline.Similar opinion? Advanced Night Repair goodness
I decided to retry this brand after that cute Kendall girl became the face of the brand. I got the Advanced Night Repair. I"m in my mid 30s and am getting wrinkles. This was light and soothing on my skin. I love the smell too. It's become my favourite part of going to bed! My skin texture has drastically improved.

Great Product
Have been used Estée Lauder advanced night repair for face and the eye scum for a few years. It does not have good effects after a few days of use but when you keep to use it, you can tell the difference and there are always generous simple when you buy something from them.

nothing to much trouble for wonderful assistant!
my lucky day! Myer Adelaide - beauty adviser at Estee Lauder named Caitlin... absoluely fantastic....I will only buy from her in future... had unpleasant experience with Estee Lauder at another store - I think because I am in my late 70's she felt I was past "help" - not so Caitlin - made me feel special and nothing was too much trouble...Estee Lauder should send her to "train" other advisors... nb. remember the "older" ladies do not mind spending to get the product they want!

Better in winter for oily skins
I have been using Double Wear foundation for a couple of years. I like the good SPF and it is excellent coverage for acne scars even for darker kind. I usually apply with a damp blending sponge so that I don't get oily too quickly, however I find that in extreme heat and humidity (even indoors) my T-zone starts to shine after about 5 hours. For this reason, I've had to change my foundation in summer. But it's still a great foundation in winter or for a heavier made up look for a night out.

Thank you for such excellent service
I recently visited Adelaide. I'm a long term Estee Lauder user.I reaised to my horror that I'd left some essential bits behind.I spoke to Karyn at Myer Estee Lauder counter. She was warm and so helpful and had me sorted in no time.Thank you so much. Her kindness set the tone for a fabulous visit.

Good foundation
I bought this foundation after 3 years of buying my first Estee lauder foundation in 2010, as I have been using cover girl since then. I found that the shades are completely changed but still you can find your shade but shouldn't buy online . I bought 2n1 which was closed to the 2n2 fresco(old one) which was my shade. But found it 1 shade lighter than what I thought.... Anyways I bought then 4n1 to mix them together to get my perfect shade.
I would say that the new formula is much more friendlier to dry skin than the old one which used to g...Read more

You pay for the name not quality
I just found out that Estee Lauder and their other brands still test on animals!!! No matter what the brand or quality, this means automatic NO PURCHASE in my books.
Not just that though, the pigment percentages are terrible for the price. I had a retail consultant tell me it is suitable for photographics and long wear, despite it not being designed for that. It's not pan-chromatic and it wears off in about 3-4 hrs so you have to touch up more often. For the price you can get a stunning professional foundation from Laura Mercier, or Ben Nye...Read more

Best Long Lasting + Full Coverage Foundation
Great cover and colours, can go on sheer or build to a very opaque full cover. I use this on my sometimes oily, mostly combination skin and will continue to use it for years to come. Was recommended this by 4 people all with different skin types so I think it it a real all rounder.
Great cover, great colours and great staying power!
I don't love the glass bottle, a pump would be best but this is a minor complaint.

So good!
My mum took me to Estee Lauder stand at myer. I have always thought there was no point of spending max amount of money for makeup or beauty products. She bought me the foundation and gave my her gifts that she got from what she bought and now, I'm in love! The foundation is light and does not look cakey on your skin. The Day Wear Moisture is incredible. It makes your skin feel soft and smooth, it can also be used as a night creme. Even though the products are very expensive the they are well worth it and will last for ages

Brilliant!
Love this product! I have temperamental skin. Oily one min and dry the next, this foundation has awesome coverage even without liquid foundation underneath. Covers blemishes well and has staying power. It will replace the need to use any other foundation plus the added bonus of a SPF as well!
Everything!!!
A lil expensive!

Best long-wear foundation I've ever used!
Estee Lauder Doublewear liquid foundation - shade 1N1 is a perfect match to me (used to wear Revlon Colorstay (oily/combo skin) in shade nude) but this is so much better! I purchased at Myer, the lady was very helpful in finding the perfect shade (it covers up redness, acne scars & evens out the complexion but still looks natural while being a medium coverage).
I think I paid $65 for this the first time but maybe around $50 now. I have oily/combination skin with large pores - this gives great coverage, minimises the look of pores, natural l...Read more
ook, and long wear lasts all day! Very easy to apply with fingers or makeup/foundation brush. I wear the foundation alone on days when I want less coverage, but will use the Estee Lauder Double Wear pressed powder when I want to set it and have a more 'made up' look. This does not aggrevate my sensitive skin & doesn't make me break out, which I love! *If you like Revlon Colorstay then you will love this! Luxury foundation - although this costs more than the Revlon Colorstay it does last a long time & I believe you get what you pay for (quality over quantity). 9/10 Great coverage, easy to apply, long lasting, reliable results, high quality packaging A little more expensive compared to other foundations I've used BUT you definately get what you pay for here & the bottle lasts a long time! So money well spent!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

So much better than Nude,
I bought this after having a bad experience with Nude By Nature - (pigment too dark, looked caked on and powdery/talcy) and I wanted a base that was lighter in feel than foundation and had better coverage than just powder alone. I was prepared to pay (almost)any price as long as I got a good product and I can tell you this one is just great for(1) natural looking colour as opposed to too brown/orange(2)stay on all day factor- from 8 am to 4 pm I only need to dab my t zone with blotting papers but that's more my skin type and not a reflection on...Read more
the make up (3)easy application with the double sided applicator that comes with(4)easy to keep clean and hygienic applicator that doesn't disintegrate over time- just thorough wash and clean as you would a make up brush or sponge. I went to my Dept store with a bare face so I could truly try out the testers and was pleased that the shades of this makeup are varied so I can get a different one for winter when I need a bit more colour. I have older skin and I know I'm probably never going to get that flawless airbrush look that some companies rave about, but then who does apart from Miranda Kerr?? :), but at least this makes my skin look as natural as it's going to get with make up on. On an end note- I don;t mind paying seventy odd dollars for this because the quality is better therefore I use less overall, and I'd rather have an outstanding base and then save cash by buying el cheapo (Body Shop or even Asian Bargain shops!) eyeliner and lipliners. Am probably going to buy this again, though I might try out the Shiseido/Chanel mineral makeups along the way. Exact shade, durable applicator, long lasting.1 comment

This is a review for Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara
I first tried this on from a free sample, and I really like it I decided to buy one when the sample nearly finished. It gives longer lashes and makes my thin lashes look thicker. I tried a lot of samples before but this one is the best so far. It doesn't smudge under eye after hours of applying. It stays on the lash and is very easy to clean. It has fine brush so you don't get clumpy looking lashes.
Gives longer and thicker lashes. Not too expensive.
Just a little more expensive than those supermarket brands but compared the result with a popular make up brand I bought from Priceline, Estee Lauder Sumptuous is worth spending that little bit more.

Have the ingredients changed?
Hello,
I have been buying Este Lauder skin care and makeup for years. Recently, my eyes sting with the new mascara I purchased at Christmas. I have just come back from the doctor as my lip has swollen and blistered and he said it’s an allergic reaction to the new pure colour envy lipstick I got at Christmas. The daywear cream has been irritating my eyes for a year or so abd if I am not careful, they sting and I have to take an antihistamine.
I love the brand which is why I haven’t given up but after today, with a massively swollen lip, I need to change brands.
It would be good to know what has happened to the ingredient list and quality.
