Excellent product! My family & I use this, all with never a case of diarrhoea while travelling. Myself and my husband have used this while travelling throughout SE Asia, several times to Bali, twice to India & Sri Lanka & through Sth America & we have never been sick. Coincidentally our friends who came to Sth America with us did not use it and they both got sick - you be the judge! Off again to Bali soon, but not without taking this product.

Good product
No way to know whether this actually did do anything to prevent travel bugs but it did help me with bloating (stopped taking it since I came back and got bloated again, haven't had a chance to use regular probiotics) so it does something for the gut for sure.
Would get it again if going to countries where the water isn't drinkable. Wish I knew of a similar product in North America.
Good brand, easy to take, 1 tablet a day

I am still confused. One poster says Ethical Nutrients says it lasts 30 days unrefigerated. Ethical Nutrients above says 10
Ethical Nutrients, which is correct? If 10 days, then that makes this product unsuitable for any longer travel?
1 answer
As I am aware it is 30 days. If you are at all concerned, I suggest to ring the company directly. I did this when I went to India for longer than 30 days and was worried about carrying it from place to place. They assured me it would be fine, as long as it wasn't exposed to extreme heat. I also did this in South America for 6 weeks, but I would still call them for peace of mind. Happy travels.

I will be away for 18 days. Do i need to refrigerate the tablets at each motel I stay at?

When I used it, it had to be refrigerated. I think it’s only 48 hours it can go without refrigeration, at a time.
Hi Janine, It lasts 30 days once you take it out of the fridge, providing it is not exposed to extreme heat.
I contacted the manufacturer about that issue, as I was travelling to India/Sri Lanka for over a month and a bit worried. I just kept it in my hotel room and I was fine. Have it by your bedside and take it as soon as you wake, then by the time you are ready for breakfast, it's okay to eat. If you are at all concerned, I suggest you contact the manufacturer, as I did. Did it on 2 trips to India and many trips through the heat of South East Asia and never been sick. (P.s. Both myself and my family have drunk tap water treated with a UV sterilising pen, combined with "Travel Bug" in developing countries and never an illness in over 15 years of doing it). I wouldn't travel without it - and no, I don't have shares in the company or sell it for a living - it's just a great product that works! Have a great trip and stay healthy.

The label the travel bug tablets says can be left unrefrigerated up to 10 days buy on the website says up to 30 days. Which is correct?

Ethical N.Ethical Nutrients
Hi Fernande, thank you for getting in touch. Until you travel refrigerate your Travel Bug at 2°C to 8°C (Refrigerate. Do not freeze). While travelling, Travel Bug does not require refrigeration for up to 10 days. Always read the label. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.
