A few things to watch out for!
We have two major issues with this oven. The first one being partly our own fault - it was our first new oven and we didn't know you needed to 'run-in' a new oven before use. Apparently there's a coating the needs to be burnt off and wiped away. The result being that when food spilt on the bottom of the oven it permanently damaged the surface and couldn't be cleaned away no matter what we tried. Now when we cook the kitchen fills with smoke and a bad smell. The second issue is the internal fan. When the fan kicks in it blows hot air out of the ...Read more
gap between the griller door and the cooktop - to the point that it is uncomfortable to stand in front of it while cooking. We rang customer help about the burning issue and got quite a rude response, referring us to page 6 of the manual where it mentions running-in. I have also tried contacting Euromaid via the warranty section of the website but have received no response. We bought the oven from The Good Guys along with their Concierge insurance which also wouldn't help us. I would never buy this brand again. May 6th 2022 Update: Do not buy this oven! We bought this oven just over a year ago and I have already posted a review on some of the features we found to be disappointing. However I'm compelled to follow up with a new problem that has occurred as the oven is now just out of warranty. The gas in the oven has started to randomly go out during cooking! All of our other gas appliances, and the stovetop work fine so its not a supply issue. After posting on Product Review Euromaid organised for a service person to look at the oven - apparently the oven is designed to turn itself off if it gets too hot. Sorry guys but this is an oven - surely it's designed to get hot! There is no mention of this feature in the manual and although the service person has supposedly adjusted to shut-off feature it is still occurring even when the oven is not set to it's maximum temp. This is the worst appliance purchase we have ever made. I will never buy this brand again and would strongly recommend looking at any other option before buying any Euromaid product. We are currently looking around for another brand to replace out 18 month old oven - what a waste of time and money!Purchased in January 2021 at The Good Guys for A$1,200.00.

Hi had this oven for a few days and find that when trying to light the oven you have to hold the knob in for at least 15sec or more once a light for the oven to stay a light, in the book its says a few seconds so not sure on why it takes so long. any ideas ?

Also we tried our first roast in the oven and the flame went out while cooking so that's not a good thing at all.

Does this fan operate when you use the grill or the oven and how long should it stay on for or does it stay on until stove has cooled down?

Hi Kaylene, The fan should stay on for approximately 20 to 25 minutes after the oven has been switched off to cool down. If it is running for longer than this time, please give us a call on 1800 444 357 and our Customer Care Team will help you. Thanks
Hi Kalene. Sorry for the delayed response - I've been traipsing across the Nullarbor and out of network coverage. I don't use the grill that much so can't answer that one. Our fan seems to run for longer than than the 20-25 minutes suggested above. Luckily our oven is plugged into a powerpoint we can easily reach so we just turn it off at the switch as the fan blows hot air straight into the kitchen and is quite loud.
Cheers. B
