E.g one goes up to the top then the other on goes up. Same as going down, one goes down and when it gets to the bottom the other one goes down

I'm cooking a 12kg pig on Christmas day. How long should this be cooked for on the Hub 2? Is there a you tube video that shows you how to prep up the pig prior to adding it to the rod?
My two cents is that you will need a whole lot of charcoal and at least 8 hours. I've done 2.5kg boneless lamb and it took 5 plus hours and even then had to finish it in the oven. Best suggestion is a...
Read more breeze free location and prop the lid on the edge to hold in some heat (handle resting on the top edge of the bbq). Watch that piggy as meats tend to get hot spots and slip on the rotisserie shaft (where they stop rotating after a bit of cooking and just hang there).Good morning Scott, thanks for your enquiry regarding cooking a pig for Christmas,
For best results, we recommend sourcing a suckling pig that weighs no more than 12kgs - that will take around 4-5hrs...

Read moreery time, a long as it is balanced and secured onto the HUB rotisserie pole.I tried to cook a hole Lamb which was 13 kg on the rotisserie of the hub 2 and was very disappointed. The chef that was advertising the hub 2 at Harvey Norman said to me that I could cook a hole lamb ...
Read moreof 15 kg easy guaranteed. I bought this product and ordered a lamb for New Years Eve and had 10 guests coming and what a dissaster, the lamb could not fit on the rotisserie as the legs were touching down the charcoal and it was to long for this bbq. Had to cut it in half and tried to cook half of it and still wasn't good enough. In my opinion this is good only to cook a chicken on the rotisserie, you can't even cook a steak as the grill is to close to the charcoal and will burn your meat ! I will try to return this machine back as it doesn't do what they said it will do and for what I need it. On a rotisserie you should be able to cook a lamb or a pig, which this machine cannot achieve. People fool for this bbq as it has a modern design and it looks clean but you cannot achieve anything. Just be careful on what you buy guys as this is not cheap !!!Hi Erion,
We love to do lamb on the hub however a whole animal requires a little more work .
The legs need to tied back into a crouching position so you don’t have this issue, also to insure it’s well balanced....
Hi, I am looking at buying the cube- I have looked everywhere and am unable to locate anything that tells me how it is fired up? Does it need to be connected to an electrical point or do you need to get the coals started with firestarters?
Thanks
Hi Jacinda, the CUBE is a smaller portable charcoal BBQ that is manually ignited depending on what method you'd like to use: firestarters, kinderling wood, etc. If you were after electrical ignition, ...

Im looking at getting one. What is the "start up" time? From marketing they are always saying 10mins. It that true? I hope they aren't misleading!!
The start up time would be ten minutes if you are only wanting to cook right in the centre of the BBQ. If however you need to use the whole thing you need to constantly shuffle coals around to get hea...
