I thought that my dog had eaten poison!

published

I was thinking the worst when my dog vomited, coughed, didn't eat and pooed everywhere. I thought that she must have eaten fertilizer. Then I remembered that I had given her a exelpet worm tablet because I had run out of the brand I usually use. How can something that is meant to be helping a dog cause so much grief. she is only little and lucky to have the strength to get through this. Exelpet get your act together, this is terrible!!!!! And nothing on your website to advise what to do in this situation. Obviously this is not the first time.

Don't buy this!

published

Don't be fooled by how cheap this product is! I wish I read the reviews before purchasing this product. My cat hated it and scratched me and ran away! Tried mixing it in his food but it smells just awful!! I was actually getting a bit annoyed at him for not eating it but I'm glad to see it's the product and not him being stubborn. Will def be throwing it in the bin and purchasing a better quality product!

Worst product ever!!

This product was horrible. It cause so much distress to both my cat and myself. It caused her to salivate so much and was so hard to administer due to the dreadful taste. You get exactly what you pay for cheap product which is 100% terrible. Only wish I had read the reviews sooner. Will be throwing out the remainder of the product and never buying it again!!

Do not buy!

published

Do not buy.

My cat didn't want to eat it, so I put it on her leg as per the instructions, she ran around the house and it flew off and stained the carpet. Tried all sorts of stuff (detergent, wine, vinegar) and it won't come off. It looks like oil based turmeric based stain. Will now have to get carpet replaced. They also both threw up overnight. Horrid product.

Stains carpet, causes cats to throw up.

Terrible

published

Exelpet is such a horrible brand, their treatments do nothing and have been proven to be bad for the animals health. Yes they are convenient and easy to pick up from the super market, but if you have any respect for your cats health pay the extra and get a decent product. This paste is disgusting, it is a struggle to get the cat to take it. Is easier to give them a tablet and alot less stressful.

Everything, a cheap option which does nothing and is not good for cats.

Terrible

I won't be buying this product again as I don't like paste's. I find they are too messy, my cat gets really upset and the paste makes her drool. I presume she drools because it tastes so bad. I'm not sure how well it works either because its almost impossible to get all the paste into my cat. Their are now a lot easier to use products on the market which I will be sticking with in the future.
Well known brand. Available in most department stores and supermarkets.
My cat hates this paste and so do I. It stained our lounge and my cat scratched me whilst I tried to give it to her. The paste ended up everywhere other than in my cat.
