Ezi Dri Snackmaker Drier FD500
Have had the snackmaker for many years and still works well. I can leave running over night and it's nice and quiet. Simple to follow book with drying times and having 3 temps makes it simple. Love that you can buy extra trays but they are a bit pricey. Haven't tried meat yet but works well for fruit and veg. Dehydrates beautifully and within the times they state.

I have inherited an Ezidri Snackmaker FD500 and I'm super excited to try it out... but I didn't get an instruction manual. Please help!!
Hi Lee-Ann, please contact us at [email protected] and I can send you an electronic version of the instruction manual.
I noticed the control panel where you select the temperature at the base of the unit gets quite a bit hotter than the rest of the base unit. Has anyone else noticed this?
I've never noticed it but then again, I don't touch the control panel unless I'm turning it on. I use the dryer on my kitchen bench, let it run overnight and turn it off at the power point in the morning, so I haven't noticed anything - sorry!
