Professional + 90cm Dual Fuel (PROP90DFF)

When I turn the oven on to 180C or over (with nothing else on in the house), my new LINKY trips. It's very frustrating. I can no longer use the oven. Until LINKY was installed I ran my electric heaters, entire house, and the oven with no problem. Any ideas? How much electricity does the oven use when preheating?

I am looking at Falcon, Belling and Smeg freestanding multi oven stove. I have found many up to date reviews on the Belling and Smeg but have only found these older reviews for Falcon. Would love to hear how the Falcons are performing now and if they are still getting 5 star reviews.

I am still in love with my stove once you use induction heating you will never use any thing else my daughter and granddaughter have also changed to induction you do not have to have 3 phase I would give 10 stars for my Falcon

Hi i am looking at buying the falcon classic with induction but the sales rep said that you need three phase power to run it so advised me that would have to go gas cook up does anyone else know anything about this?

We bought the version with the induction top, and did not have to upgrade our power supply at all. Get your local electrician to advise you on it as sometimes the constraint lies with the actual lead ...

Read morein power cable that comes into the house from the street. I have been converted… and prefer induction over gas for cooking on now.

I'm considering purchasing the falcon also are you still impressed with the falcon ?? How do you find the induction as I to have always used gas. ? Has their been any faults with the falcon in any way ??

Yes, I'm still happy with the Falcon. I had an Ariston electric oven in my previous kitchen and that was horribly inconsistent with the oven temperatures. I find the Falcon is spot-on w...

Read moreith baking/cooking times oven-wise. Re the induction top, I too used gas and so it was a bit of an adjustment but overall I'm happy with the induction. The time the elements take to heat up is quite quick really. It is super easy to clean so way better than gas hotplates in that regard. The only criticism I have of induction is if you want to take your saucepan off the element to spread oil/pancake batter/etc. around the pan obviously loses contact with the element and it can get confused but this is only minor. When I say confused, sometimes the element doesn't want to heat up again but it's only temporary. I think you'll be happy with a Falcon as I haven't had any issues with mine after 2 years. :)
