I don't have the ability to vent my dryer in my laundry (in fact, I killed my last dryer by not doing so). Large size means that I can fit all the laundry in one go. I haven't plumbed it but instead empty the container that collects the moisture after each session. I was really surprised at how full it was the first time I emptied it

Love this dryer, has been the best ive owned. Like that ot doesnt put any moisture into the air and can keep all the windows closed through winter and run the dryer without causing mould or mildew. Had a drying sensor so stops as soon as the items are dry and has differnt drying modes for different items. Also has a rake for delicate items and shoes although i havent had to use this function yet.
Is a little bit noisy to run but i guess thats like all dryer.
When drying sheets or large towels it rolls them up in a ball you have to untangle them up to 8 times before they are dry our 20 year old fisher and paykel was far better to use the condensor on this one is great as it prevents water dripping down the wall overall disappointed
I had a 15 year old Fisher & Paykel drier that was 10 times better than this one. I love the condenser option as there are no more drips on my laundry walls but all the different drying options this dyer gives you are useless as the only way your clothes will come out properly dried is by selecting the Extra Dry in the dryness levels and the temperature set on High, otherwise the clothes come out damp. Wrinkle free set on Extra is also a joke as my clothes come out much more wrinkled than in my old dryer. But for me the worst problem is that it...
Read more is extremely frustrating to dry large items like bed sheets. Within a few minutes they roll into a tight ball and the middle stays wet. You have to unroll it several times and start it again. I've been drying just one cotton doona cover today and I'm up to the 6th unrolling and I probably have a couple more to go. They recommend you make a knot with a large towel and put it in the cycle with large items but you just end up with a towel inside your bedsheet ball. Very, very frustrating.

I bought it before finical year sale in Harvey Norman, but it is reasonable. It helped me a lot. Although you can not finish the highest capacity, it still works well. For my experience, 8kg capacity in everyday cloth function may only able to finish 5-6kg if you wanna well-dried. If you wanna dry sheets, it's better to use sheet function. Otherwise, sheets will become a cloth ball. Freshen function is useful in blow duvet. Considering the price, I am glad to take its wrinkle problems.

The price is good and fair to buy this washing machine product. Efficient to use, and have a lot of functions. Many options to chose when you want to wash your cloths in rapid virsion or mixed clothed function. It did not make too much noisy, overall, I like this product.

Purchased this Dryer along with the matching Washing Machine am very pleased to say this Dryer is fantastic too! I love the Condenser feature which allows me to recycle the water after each use, don't need to leave the door open or window open for condensation. so many features to choose from. One of my favourites is the drying rack which you can use for drying shoes - have used this numerous times for the kids sports shoes & its fantastic! Very quiet machine too (not like my other, i thought it was going to take off!) can also fit a lot inside too which is great over winter.

I have found this dryer very frustrating especially drying sheets! It only goes one way and the sheets end up in a ball and it is noisy as it thumps each time the cycle goes over and sheets are still damp after even an hour on dry. It also doesn't dry other clothing properly either it's always damp. My older dryer is far better. I'm completely disappointed with this dryer and have wasted a lot of money .. I wish there was a way I could return it and get a basic dryer which does a better job
Hopefully Fisher Paykel will exchange it ?

Don't ever have a problem with ANY fisher and paykel product. Their customer service is utterly disgusting - please see their Facebook page for proof. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PRODUCT. If you encounter a fault your money is down the drain, along with your sense of humour and desire to deal with another F&P customer service twit.

I bought this dryer to replace an old 6kg Electrolux and wish I hadn't sold my old one on Gumtree so quickly now! The sensor dry doesn't work, always find the clothes still damp and have to re run it on the timer setting to actually get things dry. I had a service guy out within 2 months of buying as one of the bearings went and needed replacing, and he said that it’s designed so that clothes aren’t completely dry to avoid fire, which is great if they were only very slightly damp, but a lot of the time they’re still really wet. Unfortunately I ...
Read moredon't have a clothes line at the house I'm in either so have no choice but to spend hours trying to get things dry in this thing and racking up a huge power bill. I used to like Fisher & Paykel but this dryer has totally put me off the brand. I'm disgusted they can sell something so useless, especially when I paid almost $900 for it!! Not cheap!! Save yourself the money and buy a different brand.- 2 reviews
Worst machine I've ever purchased. Does not dry clothes no matter what setting you choose. End up hanging everything on the line instead.....Purchased this particular machine as we were told it would be perfect for drying sheets. However they end up in a tightly rolled ball and are steamed for hours without actually drying. Pulling them apart requires a crow bar and the minute you start the cycle again they become tightly entwined again.
Dryer does not dry clothes. One load on the everyday setting takes hours and even then some clothes come out damp. Absolute waste of money. Even when I use the time dry function to try finish the load the air barely seems to heat up. The sheet and towel functions don't work at all.

My first new dryer ever. I love the auto sensing dry settings, the easy to manage water and filter trays and the shoe rack is great as is the air dry setting. Winter is just beginning but I already know this product does exactly what it says it does. In prep for winter I washed and dried all my scarves. On the delicate setting they came out perfectly dry and intact. One of them (oops) was silk! Now I'm just waiting for my washing machine to die so I can buy the matching washer!
We are onto our 3rd service call on a 2.5 year old dryer, I am a little but worried how long it will be until my protection under the consumer guarantees act runs out. I live in New Zealand.
The story so far....
Hi All
We purchased the first model of this dryer in October 2014. Early last year was the first service call when the dryer stopped working (Dryer about 18 months old). Service guy came out and diagnosed fault to the capacitor. Fixed that and dryer was back working. Off and on from here the dryer started getting progressively loud...

Bought it on Monday 20th march, does not dry properly, have to run stuff through multiple times, (its been raining non stop for a month!)
Good Guy web contact request made on Tues 21st, no answer as of Friday 24th.
24th- I rang Good Guys in Artarmon where I bought it, they couldn't care less, said F&P had to certify it as a dud before they would refund/change/do anything, was eventually given the (wrong) number to call F&P.
rang F&P- waited on hold for more than 30 mins then tried again and got the 'greater than usual volume' call cop-out...
The functionality of the machine for the price is the only positive. Within a few months, the door broke on the machine. It was fixed promptly. A few more months down the track and the dryer stops working completely. It was fixed within a week. One day later, it's broken down again! March has brought huge amounts of rain in
Sydney and we've had no dryer.
The customer service at F&P is terrible. We called after the last issue and we were told the machine would be replaced in 24-48 hours. No one called back. We called again in another 3 days...
Read more and asked to speak to a manager, no one called us back. Tried to call the next day, couldn't get through. Finally someone who knew what they were talking about told us it would be a month to receive a replacement machine or 10 days for a refund. Said it's quicker to go back to Good Guys, get a refund and a new machine. Do yourself a favour and don't purchase this machine. They are obviously faulty and the service is some of the worst I've ever received. Hugely disappointing.- 4 reviews

My previous condensor dryer broke so bought this. DON'T DO IT.
Terrible dryer. It doesn't dry the clothes, after the sensor cycle had finished (set to extra dry) the washing had to be put through for an extra 60 minutes on a timed cycle. Swapped over for a Bosch, very happy.
Excellent customer service from Good Guys with the change over.
I bought this dryer 4 months ago and it's broken down twice in 1 month. It has had the bearings replaced and now the motor. It's been sitting in my living room waiting to be repaired for 2 weeks! I was advised that they wouldn't replace the dryer and that instead they are waiting on parts to arrive from Queensland. The customer service officer advised me to purchase a clothes horse in the interim or use the local laundromat....what a joke! Steer clear of this dryer and their customer service. I will never be buying a F&P product again.

Nothing but trouble came damaged to start, they sent someone out to check it that had no idea what a dryer was! Then next guy fixed it and it's only been running for 10 months and now it's saying door error. Now I can't get hold of anyone to help fix it! Shocking customer service

I've bought this together with the washsmart washing machine and I am very disappointed. It never seems to dry the clothes even when it is set to extra dry. I had an old dryer that works perfectly.Really disappointed with this one. yes it is silent and yes it does not steam the room but I am having to do a load more than once

Initially this dryer was amazing..... drys clothes perfectly and doesn't let the heat out into the house.
However we have an issue with moisture building up on the inside of the door, its a sealed door so no idea how it is getting in and impossible to clean/dry out. I complained to F+P and got the same average customer service... waiting weeks for a technician, had them come out 3 times and it wasn't fixed. Finally I insisted on a new dryer, which they delivered. 2 months later, the exact same issue... arg. Here we go again... at this point I just want a refund so I can get another brand.

It came with the hoses setup to drain out a hose and down the drain so it dumped all the water all over the floor. it was a simple matter of plugging in the drain hose that goes to the reservoir on the top.
after that it has not had any issues. takes a bit to do a load but every dryer takes a long time
though it is annoying that it does not estimate how long its got to go when on auto.
I think the light on the inside of the drum is a nice touch
I purchased my Fisher and Paykel dryer from JB HI FI on 21/01/2016. As an owner of a Fisher and Paykel fridge and dryer I was confident that this would be a great product. In June the dryer started to make a loud thudding noise and I called customer service. The customer service officer arranged a technician to come out and attend to the problem. He attended and "repaired" and then 2 days later the problem occurred again. I rang customer service and again the same technician came out and "repaired" the problem. 1 week later the dryer started ma...
Read moreking a slightly different loud thudding noise (it actually sounds like a 747 plane before take off) and this time making a strong smoking smell. I immediately ceased use and called customer service for a 3rd time in the space of 3 weeks. This time they advised a technician wouldn't be available for 2 weeks. I find this to be terrible service considering there had been 2 previous callouts to fix a problem and now with 2 small children this product has let me down and the service of Fisher and Paykel has too. Stay away from this product it is terrbile and so is the lack of service to a loyal Fisher and Paykel customer. I will await the 3rd visit and then be shopping for a new brand.- 2 reviews

I bought this top of the range F&P dryer 12 months ago. It seemed to be working well, until it began making a a very loud noise when in use. The service man told me there was a fault in in the driver, possibly from the factory, and the noise was the drum spinning off centre and hitting the side. I suggested to F & P they replace the the dryer as it seemed to be faulty from the start. My biggest disappointment was from F&P themselves. They have never called me back as promised and when I call to speak to a supervisor (as the phone operater cannot...
Read more make that desision to replace the dryer) they put me on hold for 25 minutes and then proceeded to inform me the supervisor has has gone home. Its been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for for an outcome or some one to call me back. I will definatly buy a more reliable Brand next time with a service centre who cares about their customers and not just interested in making sales!Other Condenser Clothes Dryers
