Hi, my kidney shaped filter keeps falling out. I have noticed that the full rubber rim around the kidney shaped hole on the filter plate has disintegrated therefore not holding the filter in place. I am looking at buying a new filter plate, but they are out of stock at Fisher and Paykel. I found some second hand ones on eBay which look perfectly ok but don't seem to have the full ring of rubber around the outside of the plate, but they do have the rubber ring around the kidney shaped part. Does anyone know if this matters? Can I just buy the second hand one as this has the rubber where I need it. Cheers, TC
My machine is 5 years old. Recently I have had trouble setting the machine. My regular setting is Fast and ECO 33 minutes. Lately when I press the middle button to start the cycle it displays I to 10 and does this several times before I hear the motor start. What if any does the lock system far right do?
Hi Janet,
We just had very bad experience from them. Any product might give you problems but it's about customer service and this is non excisting with them. They dont answer calls, return calls or keep you up to date. All of the best.
Hello, my top drawer when open tilts and falls out! the only reason why it doesn't fall over is because of the bench it is under preventing it from falling. What has happened lately that hasn't happened the last 2 years for this to start occurring now?
The screws that fasten the dishdrawer into the cabinet have fallen out.
The top drawer has a larger pivot distance from front feet.

Hi,
Double draw dishDrawer dishwasher DD60DCX7 continuously makes noise for more than 12 hours after washing is complete. Any ideas?
Honestly? Dump it and get a new one. This model is beyond the worst dishwasher I have ever had. Once these things start they never stop and repairs quickly add up to more that what a new one is wor...
Read moreth. It is likely the heater pump to dry not shutting off at the end of the cycle. Its just one of many issues I have experienced with this particular model. The noise is the drying fan, it draws .12Watts and keeps air flow through the tub so that dishes dry and reduces smell from stagnant water.
it is normal.

When I pull the lower drawer the left edge touches the floor, how can I adjust it?
Hi, the dishwasher has adjustable legs to suit different height benchtops etc. if you open the bottom drawer you should be able to see the legs. They are like a long screw on a post.
Cheers!
If you had an installer (from the place you bought it) install it ask them to come back and re-adjust the legs. All for of them, front and back, to lift it up from the floor.
If you installed it y...
Read moreourself remove the lower drawer and place it to the left, on its side on a towel or cloth. Re-adjust all the legs using a wrench and also use a level to insure the machine is level. Try to insure during this process of adjusting and leveling that the top of the machine is as close to the underside of the bench as possible (allowing for any bench overhang). The leveling insures that it drains properly. Then replace the drawer. If it is still scrapping on the floor, the kick plate might need to have a Mill or two taken off of it. There are two screws one on each side of the kick plate just back them out and the kick plate should slide off you will see the grove lines on the back of it for cutting off about 2 mills at a time. Then replace the kick plate. Also insure that you have but the side and/or the top screw togels into the machine and screw them (when the machine is finally in place) to the side of the cabinets and underside of the bench. If you don't do this last bit the machine might fall out ward with the wait of the drawers when they are pulled out.Dishwasher tabs dont fit as 2prongs sticking up in the little compartment. @Sonjoy is absolutely correct.
The user manual even tells you to use the small tray inserted into the cutlery holders for tablets. You can even just put the tablet in the bottom of the drawer if you ...
The button to change the mode is very intermittent! Sometimes a light touch will change it, sometimes, pressing it hard does nothing! Same with the Eco button. Am I doing something wrong?? The dishdrawer is 2 weeks old!

Usually fixing one of these resolves any issues. Otherwise call F&P.I agree with the comment already posted, I run mine on eco all the time and you just have to open the drawer a bit as when the run has finished and let them air dry. If you do it while the dishwasher is still warm they dry quickly.
What format of dishwasher detergent can I use for my dishwasher model no DD60DCX7. Powder, tables, liquid?
We've always used powder form. Note when we used crushed up tablets they did not get fully dissolved. Never tried liquid.

Ours seems to be on for hours after.
The purpose of the cooling fan in the Dishdrawer is to help with extraction of air from the drawer. Its secondary role is to help cool the electronics. There is no set time for it to run as it will sense when to stop.

Going by our dishwasher we don't seem to have a fan run at all. Once the cycle has finished the machine stops. Maybe that's because the temperature doesn't get hot enough to warrant the use of the fan...

Read morelift up the rotor-impeller assembly. You will see that the impeller blades (at the bottom of the assembly) are beaten up, and you will find something hard (such as a piece of broken glass) in the impeller hole. Run a short cycle: the noise will have disappeared but there may be water remaining in the tub at the end of cycle. If so, the impeller blades were too badly damaged.
