My son loves it!!

published

I bought the Fitbit Ace 2 Night Sky for my son's 8th birthday and he LOVES it!
He finds it very easy to use, he loves checking how many steps he has done every day and it really encourages him to do more exercise to try and reach his goal or to beat the number he had the previous day.
He loved choosing the little icon on the screen and was excited to see the little plant he chose grow bigger over the day.
I also find it extremely handy that it is water resistant so i dont have to worry about him wearing it in the shower if he accidently forgets to take it off.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchased in March 2021 at Bing Lee Physical store for A$79.00.

Not Happy

Bought it for my son as a Christmas present. Not a very fancy tracker but did its work for telling time, timer, alarm, tracking steps etc. However, the tracker kept popping out of the bend!!!! We were lucky to find it for a few times but this time it's completely gone. So basically Fitbit Ace 2 is a SPORTS tracker that cannot be worn to a ball game because it would pop out in the middle of the game and you would never be able to find it. What kind of tracker it is? Can't wear it to do sports? Very disappointed.

Purchased in November 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Online Store for A$109.00.

Would have been great... but!

The band broke in the first week and I had to spend another $49 on a new band.

The new band is also about to crack so the quality is appalling on the straps.

My little one though loves wearing his Fitbit yet I struggle with the thought of buying a band a month at this rate.

He also gets a terrible rash too from the bands - they should have a metallic or leather option for children too as the plastic causes rashes and dermatitis.

Purchased in January 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$129.00.
