My son loves it!!
I bought the Fitbit Ace 2 Night Sky for my son's 8th birthday and he LOVES it!
He finds it very easy to use, he loves checking how many steps he has done every day and it really encourages him to do more exercise to try and reach his goal or to beat the number he had the previous day.
He loved choosing the little icon on the screen and was excited to see the little plant he chose grow bigger over the day.
I also find it extremely handy that it is water resistant so i dont have to worry about him wearing it in the shower if he accidently forgets to take it off.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
Purchased in March 2021 at Bing Lee Physical store for A$79.00.

Not Happy
Bought it for my son as a Christmas present. Not a very fancy tracker but did its work for telling time, timer, alarm, tracking steps etc. However, the tracker kept popping out of the bend!!!! We were lucky to find it for a few times but this time it's completely gone. So basically Fitbit Ace 2 is a SPORTS tracker that cannot be worn to a ball game because it would pop out in the middle of the game and you would never be able to find it. What kind of tracker it is? Can't wear it to do sports? Very disappointed.

Would have been great... but!
The band broke in the first week and I had to spend another $49 on a new band.
The new band is also about to crack so the quality is appalling on the straps.
My little one though loves wearing his Fitbit yet I struggle with the thought of buying a band a month at this rate.
He also gets a terrible rash too from the bands - they should have a metallic or leather option for children too as the plastic causes rashes and dermatitis.
Purchased in January 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$129.00.

Very poor. Not worth the money
The Ace 2 is aimed at kids. However, the wristband is very flimsy and the actual Fitbit doesn't do much.
Our son had asked for a smart watch/fitness tracker for Christmas and so we got the Ace 2 as Fitbit is a well known brand.
He has had it less than a week and the wristband has already broken. He has had watches before and never has a wristband broken; however, the Fitbit wristband is cheap and flimsy and so not surprised it has broken.
The actual Ace 2 is waterproof (we have had it in the pool) and has a battery life of about 4 days (it ...Read more
is advertised as 7) between recharges - we recharged at 18%, so maybe 5 days at a squeeze. But it doesn't do much and there are no Apps or value adding stuff for it. It basically has a step/activity counter and a sleep timer. Although the sleep timer is very inaccurate - as an example, before the band broke, it said son went to sleep at 8:10 PM and woke at 7:35 AM - actually he was asleep by 7:05 PM and woke up at 6:20 AM (I was there!)Similar opinion?
