I have a 07 Ford Ranger 3.0td and my check engine light come on and is running in limp mode80% of the time. First drive of the day runs fine for 20 min or so and sometimes runs fine after stopping and starting engine again. I have had it plugged in for faults and had to replace map sensor and throttle sensor (in cab under accelerator pedal) and maby one other sensor along those lines. Had to plug computer in and adjust throttle sensor a few times and clear faults until it seemed good. Ran good and no engine light for about 2 days then back to limp mode and engine light on. As I said first drive of the day when driving it runs okay and isn’t limp mode but engine light on and under boost is a bit spluttery. I’m no mechanic but I feel turbo may be gone? Anyone with any helpful advice or suggestions ect would be greatly appreciated cheers

Contact Ford and ask for key easy as that cost might be a bit high or a locksmith that can reprogram key to ute
Hi I have a 07 ford ranger 2wd
I'm slowly losing coolant. I checked coolant reservior and radiator and found a bit of oil sludge. I cleaned and flushed and have not found anymore sludge since. Truck isn't over heating or miss firing, it runs fine. Have done a TK test on radiator and it was fine. Removed engine cover to find coolant slowly pooling around 2 and 3 injectors. I have heard it could be a cracked head. But I'm not sure about that as it doesn't have common cracked head symptoms. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Jake, not turning over, start with the battery, how is the charge, when was the last time it started? Did you disconect or damage any censors like the MAP? Censor on the airbox, maybe it won't start without abase reading. Good luck..
