i was increased from $82 to $107 without warning march was still trying to get answer in april day after direct debit was taken someone called my home no. but because i was not there to answer she sent email saying that my complaint will be ignored i went straight to my bank and had the direct debit cancelled and then had foxtel cancelled my advice if you are having trouble cancelling foxtel just go to your financial institution in cancel direct debit

I’ve been with Foxtel since they started and have just realised I’m being ripped off
I am paying $113 a month on an iq2 box which does not include sport Netflix
I am still paying for the essentials pack drama movies and documentaries
Tried to ring to cancel and the message was no operator available due to corona virus
Must say I am over watching 20 year old reruns
Foxtel is dead to me

Yep. I am also disillusioned with their service levels (having been a Customer since their 1st year in Australia) and am considering cancelling my services (2 outlets). You do look to have been overcharged and should put the hard word on them. If they think that you are going to cancel then they may come to the party.

It is impossible to talk to anyone as their whole call centre is down.
No matter how you try and contact them soon as you mention the dreaded C word (CANCEL) you can't get any further,
Another interesting thing after a bit of research is that I found I am actually paying for their service monthly in advance and even if you miss the payment date by even a day they hit you with up to a $30 penalty on top of your bill.
How is it possible to be penalised for a service that you are yet to receive ( Possibly unlawful)
Would love to hear from anyone else who has realised that this is happening.

tried the same thing - mentioned cancel and that was the last comms. going to stop the payments at the bank end and even while I am on contract I dont feel that they are in a position to get nasty when they cant provide the sports package I am paying for - they are acting unconscionably

So I log onto foxtel to change my package and it won't let me cause it goes to a failed webpage. I try to call through and there is no call centre.. I can't email you apart from this site and I can't log on an suspend my service or cancel it... Seems like you are do everything you can to keep my money....

Hi Justin P I have had the same experience blocked in every direction that I have tried to get my issue resolved. Calling their 132200 number for help is useless

Why are we not getting American Idol this year. It seems that Foxtel is going downhill fast Too many repeats and so many adverts after 20 years it is time to say goodbye

Yes I agree, far too many adds. I'm so nicked off that I signed a twelve month contract.. last night we couldn't watch Foxtel because the reception was that bad. Will definitely be cancelling at end of contract !!

Why have I just had to speak to a lady in South Africa? Very poor quality and not one asked me why I was canceling my subscription #badcustomerservice

Hi Mark A I had the same opinion as you, unfortunately I reacted straight away and put a very negative review in before I gave Foxtell the opportunity to solve my issues. In some way this was a blessing as being negative does not sit well with me, so I left a message to Foxtell Australia on there ‘contact us’ section of their website. I was really fortunate to recieve a response within 24 hours. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Brett who works in thier Lotalty department. Not only did he listen to my issues he bothered to find out a little bit more about me. He the gave us a package that is perfect for our family and he then reassured me that they are taking the issues seriously and are currently working on how to resolve this problem for everyone not just our family. I would encourage you to do the same as I have a renewed faith in thier company ethics and they are definitely working on a better product with less annoying ads and better programming. Please give them the opportunity to at least hear them out and see if they can taylor a package to suit your needs and also restore your faith in them. Hope this helps you.

Observation. - Why do Foxtel even offer the ' remove' button in you in-line package upgrade when it cannot be used. ? Question: is it normal to take days for the now only option - to SMS communication, to sort an issue (ie: reduce the package) & then only reduce from the day of finalizing - NOT the day that you initially requested.

Why are you charging for Movies that are Shceduled in the Magazine & i mean movies that are already been played. So one that was on in Premier last Sat Night they now want payment for & quite a few others this week that you should be able to down load ? Absolute disgrace.

Why is Foxtel still so expensive, when they have next to no decent movies. The price is foxtel should be brought down for all their users.
How can the price be justified given the cheaper cost of other streaming services?

I was reading your review re Foxtel Customer Service.

I am also having problems with Foxtel (no service for 10 days, lots of excuses, bad overseas service, etc)
Would I ask too much if you let me know the provider you found for NBN at $85 per month?

I have just installed IQ4 and can’t change the screen size to fit Tv. It goes to full screen on my Samsung tv, but when I change to Foxtel it will not change to full screen. What can I do ???
I have tried but does not do it there is three selection on size but doesn’t change screen on any of them. How do I change it so I can get full screen and NOT have grey on the sides????
