Exceptional customer service
I read previous comments and wondered what I was about to encounter when contacting Foxtel. Truthfully I was allocated a lady by the name of Irena who I assume was in Australia, anyway after talking to her she understood my concerns and comfortably arranged a better service due to a receiver that had malfunctioned after many years of service. I know other people may have bad experiences but honestly as a retiree I could not fault this lady. Thank you Irena

Robbing from the vulnerable
Your an absolute disgrace, what you are doing to all of your valued customers...The top paying customers are getting ripped off, they already have movies..Start reading your reviews and looking after your customers...Your one big joke..Never again FOXTEL your product stinks you are robbing people......

Entrapped. Cancellation.
True colors are out now. Never been very affordable but trapping people into their accounts making it impossible to cancel is a severe and unforgivable matter. Literally trapped into an auto payment you are unable to cease in any way shape or form.

I have the same issues as everyone on this review.
We were offered movies to compensate sports package not being available...sorry we slready have netflix and amazon prime.
Is there some way of getting a "Big Brother" organisation involved to support everyone?
Maybe Tracy Grimshaw could tackle something like this.

7 years after having a contract with them, they default my credit file for $157
After 7 years of not holding a contract with them, I got a $157 credit default. They cant tell me why as its been so long, but they can default me for an unknown charge. Stay away from foxtel useless and destroy credit files for no reason.

Incorrect deductions on my account and non existent customer support wish I could give zero stars

account. I’m slowly realising giving your bank account details for direct debits to some businesses is a bad idea. It is like trusting a pirate not not steal the gold. So I called them to disconnect Foxtel just to hear up to 2-hour waiting period, due to Corona virus. So did the virus infect their phones?! I apologise in advance if it is their staff that is infected....Why would it now be harder to answer customer calls? We are all working from home in ordinary businesses, so a no brainer that a service provider would be ahead of the pack. So doing the right thing and to not inconvenience them, I logged into my online account to change my packaging to the lowest pack to stop the bleeding until my mood improved enough to have a 2-hour coffee chat waiting for them to take my call. I could change it, but the ‘confirm’ button did not work. Another Corona Conspiracy Theory. They are obviously losing money and customers, so if they make it impossible to cancel their service, they can milk it a bit longer? Right, now I’m annoyed. So called with 5 different reasons why I want to talk to a person there, the labyrinth had only dead ends. Make me feel slightly crazy to talk to a machine and not bumping my head against the same wall, I try a new strategy. Look up their Facebook page and politely send them a private message. Foxtel cant deliver
I bought the sport package at the start of the year. (had it for 10 years a few years ago). My son and I wanted to watch live sport only available on pre Covid 19 Foxtel. All live sport world wide is cancelled for the foreseeable future so I wanted to cancel my contract as Foxtel cant provide what I am paying for. Unable to contact the customer service for cancellation
I am a Foxtel customer for last 4 plus years now due to current situation. I am trying to contact Foxtel customer service for the last few days to cancel my subscription. Unable to reach them, no answer wait queue is more than an hour. There is no alternate option to contact the customer service. It is so bad and a joke that such a big organisation has not arranged for alternate option.

If I Could Give Foxtel a Zero Rating for Service, I Would!
A few weeks ago endured one month's Foxtel signal outage. Foxtel claimed either: it was a Telstra cable problem or that services appear to be functioning normally. Twice, a Foxtel technician visited and confirmed a Telstra cable fault. Took a month for a Telstra tech, (who said he had only been given the job a day prior), to quickly fix a street cable fault.

Not what I ordered
Not what sales person told me substandard programs not what I requested and when I tried to talk to someone about it no contact available, blaming the virus and most of their shows are available much cheaper at stan or netflix, been trying to contact to cancel but no answer assume the company is imploding with cancellations so canceled my auto payment at bank and will wait till they contact me.

How can Foxtel get away with being uncontactable???
I want to cancel my Foxtel account, of course, it is impossible to contact them in the current situation, although funnily enough other telecommunications companies are able to be contacted. How dare they hide behind COVID19 and continue to take my money. I would cancel online if I had a choice but they do not make this available, so they continue to take my money without my permission. Theft!

0 starts - overcharged my account and hiding behind covid 19 not to provide an answer
They have overcharged my direct debit credit card several times. the latest one being last month.
Usually I ring them and they refund the overcharged amount, this time I called them over 10 days ago, they agreed they have overcharged and they said they will refund but no refund has been made and they wont even answer now. If you ring them to chase your money they will say due to covid 19 we are not able to answer.
Right now you can only speak to their technical support in Philippines, if you are lucky after many hours of wait.

FULL PRICE. FOR 3/4 SERVICE
We are paying for 4 Top Packages over 2 houses .. and no discount even though there's no Sport. But people with small packages are gettinga extra channels, which I dont mind, but WHAT ABOUT US WHY ARE WE PAYING FULL PRICE. Then the CEO sends me an email saying they'd missed my call but were tending to more important calls... really is the guy Psychic? How did he know what my call was about? Yeah great I'll just sit here watching reruns and commercials and wait for my next Invoice... thanks for nothing Foxtel

Poor content and service
- impossible to get to call centre and internet online accounts to control has limited options
- Content in terms of movies is very poor mostly old ones
- Impossible to manage through the internet in changing package - you can only increase and not decrease
- Excessive pricing - the base package is poor content and you pay $30

You can add packages but you can't cancel online...! Call centres in the Philippines aren't open because of the Coronavirus... Wasting $29 a month for NO SPORT!! Where is the ACCC? Why can't they force Foxtel to allow customer to change (add AND remove) packages online? This is THEFT!! After all this mess is over I'll be asking for credit, there is no way I'm paying for something I didn't use! And these companies shouldn't be allowed to have call centres overseas anyway...

Trying to suspend Foxtel package temporarily deserves a drama series all its own!
I have tried to contact Foxtel by phone several times over the past five days to suspend my Foxtel subscription. They are not taking any phone calls. There is absolutely no online option provided to suspend or cancel the package. After trawling through pages of their information, I eventually discovered the option of notifying them by post! rol Credit Spend from my Credit Card to block all credit and debit transactions just before my next payment is due and leave it on for a few days. The only way to cancel this service is to ring, except you cant because they do not answer the phone.
I would encourage anybody who has sat on hold for an unreasonable amount of time only to give up is to fill out a complaint form, if they still fail to contact you then contact your credit card issuer to arrange a chargeback ( refund ).
Their conduct is morally reprehensible and by being uncontactable simply amounts to theft.

Foxtel - Hello is anyone there?
Spent all day on the phone trying to get through to anyone at Foxtel but no-one answers. With no local sport I wanted to discuss what could be done with the sports component of my package only, but with the attitude they are now displaying I will now cancel everything!

Won’t answer the phone
Foxtel have removed the option to change packages online and are not answering their phones. We are paying for channels that have nothing but reruns on them. It’s disgraceful and a rip-off!

Yep. I am also disillusioned with their service levels (having been a Customer since their 1st year in Australia) and am considering cancelling my services (2 outlets). You do look to have been overcharged and should put the hard word on them. If they think that you are going to cancel then they may come to the party.

It is impossible to talk to anyone as their whole call centre is down.
No matter how you try and contact them soon as you mention the dreaded C word (CANCEL) you can't get any further,
Another interesting thing after a bit of research is that I found I am actually paying for their service monthly in advance and even if you miss the payment date by even a day they hit you with up to a $30 penalty on top of your bill.
How is it possible to be penalised for a service that you are yet to receive ( Possibly unlawful)
Would love to hear from anyone else who has realised that this is happening.
tried the same thing - mentioned cancel and that was the last comms. going to stop the payments at the bank end and even while I am on contract I dont feel that they are in a position to get nasty when they cant provide the sports package I am paying for - they are acting unconscionably

So I log onto foxtel to change my package and it won't let me cause it goes to a failed webpage. I try to call through and there is no call centre.. I can't email you apart from this site and I can't log on an suspend my service or cancel it... Seems like you are do everything you can to keep my money....

Hi Justin P I have had the same experience blocked in every direction that I have tried to get my issue resolved. Calling their 132200 number for help is useless
