Poor service, big company
3rd month having issues with recording shows on Foxtel. Have to wait for 10 minutes, then when u do talk to some one. They never resolve issue and keep repeating them self, hard to understand. Missing out on whole series. Think we have taped things, then it says it is not taped. Series link used to be so simple. Will be cancelling Foxtel, already have Netflix, has a lot more to choose from and dont get repeats all the time. Looking at KAYO, a lot better for sports, and you tube app.

Ineptitude
Moved residences on 23/1/20 and have been trying to have Foxtel connected (am existing customer). First tech sent out on 4/2/20 had as much interest and experience as my cat. His story was that I refused the service but didn't mention to Foxtel that his suggestion to get me connected was 'I'll have to run cables over your architraves and along your skirting boards"!!!!!!! i.e. he was too lazy to actually find the connections in the wall - and they will be there because two previous residents at this address did have Foxtel and the whole build...Read more
ing is 'backboned' for Foxtel. So after latest phone call today - lasted 1 hour - was told will have to wait another week for another tech to come out. Then Foxtel kindly sent me an SMS to tell me that I can use Foxtel Now. So I then tried to log in on my smart TV using my log in details and who would have thought - up came an error message. Now staring at my phone screen while I wait for somebody from Foxtel to start messaging me about this latest debacle. Where all theses called 'customer relations' people they have working for them are going to find jobs when Foxtel goes down the drain is anybody's guess. Without a doubt this would be the absolutely worst company I've ever had to deal with.

CONSTANTLY overcharged my account. I had to put notifications on all my transactions to make sure they were charging me properly. Disgusting company and worst customer service ever. This a scam of a company.

Minus 5 stars Foxtel.
Ads,ads and more ads they play more ads then free to air and you have to pay for it, what a joke, they have new channels on the program to play re-runs of shows I was watching when I was a kid on free to air tv.
Some of the shows I have watched from when I first put Foxtel on, they play them over and over again. they put me on satellite from gable and when it rains I get interruptions in the programs I record and when you complain omg you can not understand what the hell they are talking about you are forever asking them to repeat, They giv...Read more

Foxtel Cable - No longer
My Foxtel cable is no longer working and Telstra Foxtel told me it is because NBN has taken over their cables and as such NBN are not maintaining Foxtel cable. Hey what about telling the australian public that not only that NBN affect phone and internet but Foxtel as well. Took over 6 months for Telstra to get me satelitte as they kept sending out technicians and replaced the box 3 times but the issue was I was not getting signal to the pit.

Ads!!!
I got foxtel thinking it might be worth the money, but unfortunately foxtel is terrible, repeats, removing channels and ads and more ads and more ads, so many ads my brain hurts. They show more ads than free to air television and i pay for this, will be cancelling asap.

Taking away syfy, and discovery science!
Why would you take away discovery science to put up another network dedicated to murder. This is asinine, first you take away the actual syfy channel to play reruns that are older then my kids, over and over again. Their are way to many of us that actually like science. You charge us enough to give us an actual science format. This is unacceptable. I know you don't really give a damn, but you will, you are not the only game in town any longer. Your format sucks... constantly taking away those things we find most enjoyable.

Terrible Service
the foxtel service is terrible. It Took me more than half a day to close off foxtel account attached to my Telstra account and the only way was to pay the account even though I did not authorize the account and never used it. You have to watch out the Foxtel and Telstra combined service.
I never used foxtel and highly recommend others not to.

NO STARS FOR NONE PERFORMING FOXTEL
been with Foxtel for 12 years. On the platinum package. A total waste of time and money.
Bad signal, Poor support and just so many channels with no value.
Time to move on to the streaming services available, at a fraction of the cost.
What's so amazing, it took a total of 30 minutes to get someone to understand that I do not want this Foxtel service and to disconnect my service. They tried to upsell the same package at a cheap price. What kind of business do you run. Ridiculous.

No compassion
Terrible customer service by Foxtel! The company has no compassion and is totally unethical. Please lift your game and stop treating your customers so appallingly. Would not recommend at all.

-5 stars for sucky service
I could give negative stars, but can’t. The Offers and services are extremely confusing and keeps fluctuating with no proper communication.
The customer service in Phillipines is just pure and sheer incompetence! They have no comprehension of their own products. Looks like they employ robots that can do 1 or 2 things. Absolutely no problem solving skills, something that is crucial for customer service.
Will never recommend Foxtel to anyone.

Going down hill fast
I’ve been with Foxtel for over 20 years but it was getting more and more frustrating. My internet modem was in another room so I couldn't easily connect and access On Demand programs. Wifi would have done the trick but IQ3 doesn't have wifi. And no I didn't want an IQ4 satellite (with wifi) as an alternative. Or I could have used Chromecast from Foxtel Go - but unlike everyone else Foxtel charges extra for Chromecast.
Anyway, there are now so many alternative and cheaper ways to get content.
The final straw for me was when they wouldn’t offer me the same deal they were offering new subscribers. So much for loyalty. So I unsubscribed.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Have been very dissatisfied with Foxtel from beginning. Late to connect service, TV drops out. Wifi was useless and it got to the point we were sick of calling so just used our mobile phone data. Poor customer service. Continued to withdraw money from account even after cancellation a month prior. Sent the modem back as requested and was still charged the following month.

CUSTOMER SERVICE APPALLING
I have been a Foxtel subscriber for 25+ years and still have IQ2 because they are unable to install IQ3 in my fibre to the premises (Opticom) house. When I telephoned to discuss this, the customer service representative apologised and stated that because I was a long-term loyal customer they could offer me the Kids pack FREE for 12 months. I am already paying $59 per month for the package I have and I replied that my grandchildren would like the Kids pack and if it was FREE that was fine, yes please. Today I happened to look at my credit card...Read more
transactions and noticed that Foxtel were billing me $67 odd instead of the $59 direct debit. I immediately telephoned and of course ended up speaking to somebody in the Philippines, who went on to insist that the Kids pack had been offered to me for $10 per month........I asked to speak to her Supervisor. She came back on the line no less than 5 times, saying she had tried to put the call through but the Supervisor already had calls. Apparently the Supervisor would phone me back in 24 to 48 hours!! In the end I told her to listen to the conversation from December to prove I had been offered it for free, and cancel the $8 odd extra they had charged me and then also cancel the Kids pack if they intended to charge me for it. I am wondering now whether this is a huge ploy to get customers to pay out even more than they are currently. Extremely disappointed in the whole experience and am now thinking of cancelling my subscription entirely.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No more Eurosport on Foxtel
You pay a $117 a month and a million adds and Foxtel can just remove channels to suit them selves.Rip Eurosport channel. Why not consult customers and see what they would like, not Foxtels back pocket.

Yep. I am also disillusioned with their service levels (having been a Customer since their 1st year in Australia) and am considering cancelling my services (2 outlets). You do look to have been overcharged and should put the hard word on them. If they think that you are going to cancel then they may come to the party.
Hi Murph
It is impossible to talk to anyone as their whole call centre is down.
No matter how you try and contact them soon as you mention the dreaded C word (CANCEL) you can't get any further,
Another interesting thing after a bit of research is that I found I am actually paying for their service monthly in advance and even if you miss the payment date by even a day they hit you with up to a $30 penalty on top of your bill.
How is it possible to be penalised for a service that you are yet to receive ( Possibly unlawful)
Would love to hear from anyone else who has realised that this is happening.
tried the same thing - mentioned cancel and that was the last comms. going to stop the payments at the bank end and even while I am on contract I dont feel that they are in a position to get nasty when they cant provide the sports package I am paying for - they are acting unconscionably
Justin P.asked
So I log onto foxtel to change my package and it won't let me cause it goes to a failed webpage. I try to call through and there is no call centre.. I can't email you apart from this site and I can't log on an suspend my service or cancel it... Seems like you are do everything you can to keep my money....
