Have several times requested to get a loyalty discount (20 year customer) - nothing excessive, just aligned to what they are offering new customers. Got a token $10 off for 4 months offer if I signed a new 12 month contract. Latest attempt was after 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone. Last year had a 10 day outage due to Telstra fault. Had to ring up to get reimbursed for the loss of service. Seriously poor service company.

Outdated Reality Package

Many of the TV shows in the Foxtel Reality TV package are out of date, a hodgepodge of episodes and seasons, and they are far from current with what is being streamed in the US... watching Foxtel genuinely makes you feel like you are paying to watch reruns on a hotel television set at 3am. Shows that are over 10 years old have ads in between episodes, and we pay over $50 a month for that privilege.

With so many great streaming platforms at a fraction of the price, I do not understand why they don't update their streaming services to grab their slice of the market. It's a missed opportunity. I will be cancelling.

I’m leaving Foxtel (like everyone else)

After 2 hours of trying to separate my Foxtel and Telstra subscriptions when I moved my home internet service so that I could keep my Platinum HD Foxtel they cut my service anyway. The call centre is a mess so I’ve decided to do what most Australians are doing and will cancel my subscription outright. Foxtel is a relic and not worth it!

Fed up with repeats over and over again

We pay top dollar for repeats of shows or we start to watch a program like Brian on the island renovating it then nothing don't start what you cannot finish

12 commercials between shows is that a record free to air is is watchdogged but not rupert been with foxtel 20yrs but something they done to me was the last straw cancelled yesterday now they want me to pack up the 20 yr old box and remote and dont forget the cable and send it to them i will leave the dust on it they can have that too

BAD Customer Service

Due to the fact I was disconnecting my account they muck you around
While waiting for 3 hours i phoned on another phone pretending I wanted to connect to a new service and got through within 3 minutes, twice. Obviously they are using stalling tactics. I have been with Foxtel 12 years I will never use you again.
Very very Bad service I will spread the word.

Constant adverts, Even more than normal TV, and it just constantly freezes. Don’t waste your money! Can never get assistance from the customer service team either. Big Waste of money!!

I was charged for a free trial after signing up. I contacted them only to be told it seems that I have reactivated an account when I have never been a member. I sent them a screenshot of my sign up confirmation email And was told the same thing. This company does not care about you, even if they have stuffed up. They’re relying on your stupidity to not escalate issues. I mean, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out if I have created an account, passwords and received emails about it that I’m a new user.

i signed up for the "free trial" and ended up getting charged anyway. I contacted them and they told me they won't give me a refund and that i didn't sign up for the free trial. they also said they don't send codes by text even though the website clearly states they SMS a free eligibility code. Very rude and a total scam.

No sport - no discount!!

Have tried to contact Foxtel a number of times now about getting a discount on my subscription considering there are no live sports. Flat denial - very average customer service and no explanation of this was even being considered. Especially galling when I see they are revisiting their broadcast deals with major sports.

This shower are too incompetent for words. Somehow associated my account with someone else leaving me unable to login and cancel their appalling service. Have so far stolen $25 and then a further $198 from me before I could cancel my debit card to stop them stealing more. Do yourself a favour and stay well away.

The worst customer experience you could provide

Foxtel are directing all enquires to a messaging service that uses BOT’s to direct your SMS but they will never respond. Have tried numerous times. Have increased my price without advising me and now will not respond to my query.

Foxtel lack of customer service

Been trying to downgrade my monthly package due to loss of income from current Covid-19 pandemic, for several weeks. No phone contact and no online option to do this. I have an IQ2 with a monthly cost of $113 plus WWE Main Events, every time they are on. I’ve had to ask hubby to now go without the WWE events until we get back on track financially. I’ve just requested via the SMS service they are using, to cancel the sports option along with the movie package. Bit fed up with paying premium prices for repeats of repeats, year after year. Been a loyal customer since 2003. Come on Foxtel. Please improve your customer service or you may end up with no subscribers.

Sue, I agree with Shane O. unfortunately! There appears to be no logical explanation. If you query them, from experience, they're likely say that your cancellation notification was received into the next billing period.They're a law unto themselves. We've mentioned leaving foxtel and going to Kayofor sports but guess what?? It's owned by Foxsport and has terrible reviews of ripoffs too!! No escaping them if you want to watch regular footy matches.

i was increased from $82 to $107 without warning march was still trying to get answer in april day after direct debit was taken someone called my home no. but because i was not there to answer she sent email saying that my complaint will be ignored i went straight to my bank and had the direct debit cancelled and then had foxtel cancelled my advice if you are having trouble cancelling foxtel just go to your financial institution in cancel direct debit
