Leaks, smells and doesn't stay warm long
Worked OK for the first 6-12 months with only occasional small leaks but now consistently leaks all over the place. The push button mechanism it quite complicated with lots of places for milk and coffee to get lodged and then REALLY smells after a while as its hard to clean. We also paid extra for the stainless steel cups after initially buying the original - did not make a single bit of difference to heat retention and was luke warm after an hour. I honestly dont know how these are still sold everywhere when they're SO BAD
Purchased in January 2021 for A$40.00.

Just more landfill - better to get a takeaway cup
Like many others - this cup leaks from the seal after only a couple of months of use.
It would appear the material selected for the cup lid is too soft to use in a coffee cup and deforms/shaves away with constant removal and replacement of the lid.
I reached out to frank green to ask for a replacement lid - rather than just send one out - they wanted photos, then wanted proof of purchase and where I got the cup from.
Nobody else makes frank green cups - I'm not trying to trick you by asking for a replacement lid.
The company obviously doesn't care about customers or the environment.
Do not waste your money on this overpriced landfill.
Purchased in February 2021 at The Naked Duck for A$40.00.

Works well, but hard to clean
Mine doesn't leak at all, as long as the lid is screwed on firmly. So it is functional.
However it's hard to clean, as the lid assembly has nooks and edges, so you can only clean it so much day-to-day, and you'll have to disassemble it from time to time do give it a proper clean. Even then it's difficult to get it completely clean.
The cup also retains a coffee and dishwashing liquid odour even after drying. Maybe it's just the nature of plastic.
While it is durable, the exterior is prone to staining. Mine is in great condition, but it does have a light stain on the outside which doesn't wash off.
Purchased in January 2021.

Overpriced rubbish
Purchased two cups for my wife and I. They both leak from the seal. Overpriced cheap rubbish. The lid is also annoying to clean and retains liquid which also leaks when drinking.

Not quite perfect
I obtained my Frank Green cup during a Sydney Westfield x Frank Green promotion and generally use it to drink coffee or tea on the go. It’s relatively light-weight compared to other travel cup options and easy to carry around.
However, like other reviews, I found that the cup/bottle tends to leak but only if the outside rim of the base and/or the inside rim of lid (i.e. the areas where the lid and base are screwed together to close the cup) is wet. Solution is to wipe down these areas with a paper towel and ensure that they are completely dry before closing the cup - not 100% foolproof but it works.

Leaking is a problem
I have a large and a small one of these cups. Love the design, love the flow of coffee from the spout, but after a while I am getting coffee all over my lap which is leaking from the seal between the lid and the cup. Latte and other frothy beverages it isn't a huge problem, but more watery drinks like iced coffee and tea it leaks almost every time. I have to take a napkin with my coffee to prevent getting drips all over me.
I really wanted to love this cup but I cannot with such a design flaw- especially when it is promoted as "spill proof".

Just don't
This cup does not do anything a reusable cup shoud do...
1. Hold liquid: It leaks badly! I don't trust this cup. It has spilled all over my bag and all over my shirt when drinking on more than one occasion.
2. Be easy to clean: Coffee wil stain this cups outer material like nothing you've seen before. Stains do not come off unsless you want to spend 10' cleaning the outside of the cup every day.
3. Keep beverages reasonably hot for a while: Your coffee will be cold in a matter of minutes.
4. Reuse: You're not going to... see above.
So just don't.

Poor customer service + cup leaks
Ordered a second cup ( water bottle ) for Christmas delivery. Courier tracking says they tried to collect the order but it wasn't ready so they collected it the next day. Ordered before their cutoff but the cup hasn't arrived for Christmas!
The transport company seems a bit dodgy and cannot be easily contacted either. 2 full working weeks from order!!
Overall, the coffee cup and water bottle are waaay overpriced. Check the alternatives like Keep Cup.

Great for travelling in the car
Two years ago we bought 2 and use them frequently. Haven’t had the drips and spills we had with other cups with snap on lids. It took a couple of goes to master the lid cleaning but really haven’t found it hard to take it apart for a thorough clean from time to time. If one remembers not to leave the cup in an unwashed state, it keeps clean longer (rinse the lid in an open state and leave it upside down to soak a few minutes). It’s not a problem that they don’t go in the dishwasher - hand washing works fine. I broke a wing on one lid closer (the cup still works but can’t seal) and am pleased that I can order a replacement online. We’ve bought a second set (stainless steel this time) for our other car.

Overpriced
I was excited to try my frank green cup. I expected a lot better for the price that I paid. The lid is awful. The button only works half of the time, and is very annoying to clean. It's easy to clean in the dishwasher, but there is always water that sits in it - not very nice when you take that first sip of coffee. If cleaning by hand, I have to take it apart otherwise it doesn't get a proper clean. I chose a white lid and it just looks dirty all the time from coffee stains. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was disappointed opening the box to find it was just a cheap plastic cup. I expected the quality to be a little better.

Love it
I was looking for a keep cup I could keep in my bag. This one is perfect. Very light, good design and easy to keep clean. I liked it so much I also bought the water bottle.

Not worth it.
1. I have to use a lot of force to push the button down on the lid, which seems dangerous considering it contains hot coffee inside. Either that, or the lid/button is faulty. Half the time the button gets stuck halfway too. Therefore majority of the time i am unsure if the seal is fully closed or not, so i have to push the button numerous times until i am finally convinced it is sealed to avoid spillage. As a result i emailed them, and they sent me a video on how to fix it myself! Now, it's not hard to do, except i find it highly strange and un...Read more
professional to ask your customers to fix a product themselves.. 2. The material spreads stains on the lid easily, and these stains remain permanently! Ladies, if you wear lipstick i highly recommend NOT purchasing this product. I have only used my cup once, and it is permanently stained with lipstick (even after i handwashed it three times and put it in a dishwasher too). Their response was to soak it in bi carb soda every night. Sure, I'll just keep a bag of bi carb soda in my handbag and at work to clean it every time i use it, cheers! No. I travel over 5 hours a day for work, i am extremely exhausted to remember to soak and detail clean my cup every night.. Really sad to know i paid so much for poor quality. 3. The lid leaks trapped water. After i washed my cup/lid, and i filled it up with coffee to drink it, i felt liquid go down on my top. Fortunately it was not coffee, however it was water trapped from being washed. I put this down to a poor design. I hope you all remember to tip your cup full of hot coffee upside down until all the water drains out, THEN you can finally have a sip! But be careful, after you tip your cup upside down and push the button to drink, face it away from you or anyone because hot coffee will spurt at you! Only worth 1 star for the cute, innovative design. If only i had read the other bad reviews i would not have purchased it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Leaks
Luckily I got my cup for free as part of a promo my business ran otherwise I'd be quite peeved paying $35 for it. Leaks where the lids screws on, gets on my hand while drinking and also all over my desk. I feel bad throwing this out because it's supposed to reduce waste but the cup is poorly made.
