Poor customer service + cup leaks
Ordered a second cup ( water bottle ) for Christmas delivery. Courier tracking says they tried to collect the order but it wasn't ready so they collected it the next day. Ordered before their cutoff but the cup hasn't arrived for Christmas!
The transport company seems a bit dodgy and cannot be easily contacted either. 2 full working weeks from order!!
Overall, the coffee cup and water bottle are waaay overpriced. Check the alternatives like Keep Cup.

Great for travelling in the car
Two years ago we bought 2 and use them frequently. Haven’t had the drips and spills we had with other cups with snap on lids. It took a couple of goes to master the lid cleaning but really haven’t found it hard to take it apart for a thorough clean from time to time. If one remembers not to leave the cup in an unwashed state, it keeps clean longer (rinse the lid in an open state and leave it upside down to soak a few minutes). It’s not a problem that they don’t go in the dishwasher - hand washing works fine. I broke a wing on one lid closer (the cup still works but can’t seal) and am pleased that I can order a replacement online. We’ve bought a second set (stainless steel this time) for our other car.

Overpriced
I was excited to try my frank green cup. I expected a lot better for the price that I paid. The lid is awful. The button only works half of the time, and is very annoying to clean. It's easy to clean in the dishwasher, but there is always water that sits in it - not very nice when you take that first sip of coffee. If cleaning by hand, I have to take it apart otherwise it doesn't get a proper clean. I chose a white lid and it just looks dirty all the time from coffee stains. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was disappointed opening the box to find it was just a cheap plastic cup. I expected the quality to be a little better.

Like the colors and design but does not keep coffee hot
I bought it because of the design and color and also to feel good about using reusable cups. I just wish it keeps the beverage hot for longer. I understand there is a stainless steel version but it was not available for sale when I bought my cup.

Love it
I was looking for a keep cup I could keep in my bag. This one is perfect. Very light, good design and easy to keep clean. I liked it so much I also bought the water bottle.

Poor design
I nearly bought a bunch of them for Christmas gifts but so glad I didn’t. Don’t bother getting one, it’s so poorly design and their app is hopeless. Customer service is on another planet. good luck if you accident disconnect your PayWave too, you’ll never be able to use it again. Junk basically.

Not worth it.
1. I have to use a lot of force to push the button down on the lid, which seems dangerous considering it contains hot coffee inside. Either that, or the lid/button is faulty. Half the time the button gets stuck halfway too. Therefore majority of the time i am unsure if the seal is fully closed or not, so i have to push the button numerous times until i am finally convinced it is sealed to avoid spillage. As a result i emailed them, and they sent me a video on how to fix it myself! Now, it's not hard to do, except i find it highly strange and un...Read more
professional to ask your customers to fix a product themselves.. 2. The material spreads stains on the lid easily, and these stains remain permanently! Ladies, if you wear lipstick i highly recommend NOT purchasing this product. I have only used my cup once, and it is permanently stained with lipstick (even after i handwashed it three times and put it in a dishwasher too). Their response was to soak it in bi carb soda every night. Sure, I'll just keep a bag of bi carb soda in my handbag and at work to clean it every time i use it, cheers! No. I travel over 5 hours a day for work, i am extremely exhausted to remember to soak and detail clean my cup every night.. Really sad to know i paid so much for poor quality. 3. The lid leaks trapped water. After i washed my cup/lid, and i filled it up with coffee to drink it, i felt liquid go down on my top. Fortunately it was not coffee, however it was water trapped from being washed. I put this down to a poor design. I hope you all remember to tip your cup full of hot coffee upside down until all the water drains out, THEN you can finally have a sip! But be careful, after you tip your cup upside down and push the button to drink, face it away from you or anyone because hot coffee will spurt at you! Only worth 1 star for the cute, innovative design. If only i had read the other bad reviews i would not have purchased it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Leaks
Luckily I got my cup for free as part of a promo my business ran otherwise I'd be quite peeved paying $35 for it. Leaks where the lids screws on, gets on my hand while drinking and also all over my desk. I feel bad throwing this out because it's supposed to reduce waste but the cup is poorly made.

Keeps drinks hot, good range of colours, lid button a bit sticky though
I actually used to have the Original Frank Green cup which I found leaked when I used it for Tea. I think maybe it was the boiling water being poured in it that might have caused the leak (who knows). Anyhow i thought i'd try the Stainless Steel one. I thought - less chance of boiling water warping the cup to cause leaks. Well so far its been pretty good. Keeps hot drinks hot for awhile. The lid is spill resistant (as advised by Frank Green). The button which controls the flow of coffee/tea/water gets a little sticky so i need to press it a few times to get it to open or close. But this is not too bad. The cup looks great - pretty high end looking! Fits into my car cup holders well. So far so good.

Love it! Use it everyday
Doesn’t leak, drinks stay warm, easy use, easy to clean, looks amazing. Can’t find a single problem with it.
I dropped mine at the top of my stairs and it bounced the whole way down. Ended up with a long, fine crack in the top but it still doesn’t leak.
I couldn’t be happier with it.

Expensive for nothing
(Stainless steel version)
Please don't waste your money! I am a uni student and did heaps of research prior to purchasing (already have jococup and keepcup) bought this for 'spill resistant' claim.
Spills spills spills! Listen to and followed all instructions, even after emailing them. They asked for a video... Who has time for that.
Does not keep coffee hot for long.
Pop button feature finicky.
Poor customer service.
There are better/similar options out there for cheaper.

Worst plastic cup I have ever bought / worst customer service from Australian company
From my experience, I can suggest to other people please don’t waste your hard earned money on this Australian company’s product.
I bought coffee cup and cleaned as per instruction from frank green. During my first coffee I can taste that my coffee was taste was off and my wife said same thing as well. I gave another go and still same, coffee taste was weird. I have used lots of plastic products in my life but this one was worst than even plastic products manufactured in Asian countries with low quality standards.

r support department, they told me that their products are manufactured from plastic which is approved by FDA. I have used my cup so they can’t check or replace it. IN OTHER WORD THEY SAID BAD LUCK, YOU STUCK WITH PLASTIC CUP AND RUBBER SLEEV WORTH $35. PLEASE DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS AUSTRLIAN COMPANY WHOSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST THAN THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

My Frank Green Cup has been great
I am having a very different experience to most reviewers so far. I have had the cup for around 3 weeks and it's been great. No leaks at all and my coffee stays hot for 90 min- surely that's long enough for anyone! The materials seem to be high quality and it well insulated- it is cool to hold even with boining water in it. I find it simple to clean and don't have to dismantle it.

Frank Green Pay Wave Stopped Working
Pay Wave function in cup stopped working and Frank Green wouldn't replace the cup and never returned my money in the app. Don't waste your money or time dealing with this business.

Thought it Would Be Great But.......
Its extremely awkward having to push the button to open the drinking tube and drink at the same time.
It leaks at the join line.
Too many pieces to disassemble and reassemble.
Who needs tap and go on their cup?

Waste of money
We bought two steel cups with the promise of hot coffee. Not only does the silly little mouthpiece leak everywhere, the mechanism is almost impossible to get clean (especially if you don't clean it right away) and black coffee goes cold after 60 minutes (despite pre-heating with boiling water). I emailed the company to complain and was simply told this is how our cup works but we're better than our competitors. I disagree. The Tupperware branded thermo cups by comparison are spectacular. They're more expensive but seeing as I have to buy a new cup now anyway im kicking myself for not buying one in the first place! Dont waste your money.

OK only Green SmartCup
Parts can be disassembled, but can be hard to put back if the first few time. Without disassembling with just rinsing, trapped water drips out from the top cover. The design needs to change or I am cleaning it wrong. Not cheap though. Design is very eye candy I have to say, therefore 1 star.

Worst duo we have ever brought!
Brought 2 thinking we were going to have these for a while. Both haven’t lasted 5 months, and they are not used every day. They leak from the thread, goes cold quick and when they are first filled they are too hot to hold. One of them them the whole open/close mechanism fall into the cup. Tried to take it back but shop refused. What a waste of money!

Don't buy it! T2 has way better coffee cups
I bought 2 of these cups thinking it would be a great upgrade over a kmart cup currently my husband is using. And what a waste that was! Unfortunately you buy a cheap kmaart cup or this expensive piece...the freaking quality is the same. Like you cannot hold the kmart cup once hot beverage is put it....wait for it....you cant hold the frank green cup too. With so call great materials etc and the point of buying a better coffee cup so that when hot coffee is poured in you can actually hold the cup. But NAH! not with this expensive cup. It works ...Read more
the same as a kmart cup. In fact thankfully my T2 cup is 1000 times better than frank green and now i think, I should have just got my husband a new T2 coffee cup. TO make it worse, for some reason some water accumulates in the cover and as soon as you drink... its all over you!! so much for a well thought design and all!!! I would suggest, if you are thinking of buy this cup...Don't bother!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Expensive cups, don’t last, limited warranty
I’ve bought a number of reusable cups over the years. The whole premise of the cup was that is was smart and enabled at participating coffee shops. It’s been used a dozen times and the grooves which help seal the lid (and prevent hot coffee going everywhere) has broken. Support will not send a replacement part only offering to sell me a replacement for $20. A shame as I was going to buy one in a different size too. The whole idea of these cups is to reduce waste and when a $40 cup that probably cost $1 to manufacture, can’t last a dozen uses, it’s just another piece of plastic going in the bin. Had much better after sales support from keep cup.
