BUYER BEWARE- If I could give this company a negative score I would!
Booked a slushy machine for an event, I called to confirm that it was available for specific times required, was told yes not a problem. I paid the bond as required the afternoon before the event I receive a text message that they can no longer deliver at the times required and cancelled the order! Then spend the afternoon on hold as they dont answer the phone! Poor customer service, no slushy machine and cant contact them to get my money back!!!
Good Service
The service was great, we ordered a double bowl slushy machine, and the syrup was more than enough for our guests! Thanks, would definitely be hiring the slushy machine again !
Kids had a great time on the jumping castle!
Last minute booking and able to accommodate our needs. Efficient drop off, set up and pick up. Were given extra time for free! Our kids had a ball! Would use again!

We hired a photo booth from Funtime Party Hire and were generally pleased with the photo booth itself and the quality of the photos it produced. We especially like the fact that you receive a USB with all of the photos taken at the event.
My disappointment with this company came from 2 specific interactions with them. The first was when I made the booking. I told them I would book for the minimum period and was informed that as my function ran longer than the minimum period that I would have to pay for additional hours. I told them I was ha
... Read moreppy to have them collect the booth during my function as I was not paying for additional hours. In the end I paid for the minimum and they dropped the booth off at around 3pm and didn't pick it up until the next day. So moral of the story is don't be sucked into paying for additional time. Secondly around an hour prior to my delivery I was contacted and told that it had been left too late to program the booth with my preferred template and message. This was not acceptable as the company had not contacted me at any earlier time to request this information or to discuss my options. After some heated discussion, the company managed to arrange the programming so that I could have my preferred template and required wording. Long story short, whilst I was generally pleased with the photo booth and would not complain about the set-up or pickup, or the photo booth itself, I did feel annoyed during the process and would have preferred a smoother less stressful experience with this company. I would hire a photo booth from them again, but will be cautious to make sure that I am getting what I have paid for and not being tricked into paying for things I don't have to.

Be Warned Do Not Use This Company Ever
Please pay attention to the reviews for this company it is unusual to have so many poor versus so many 5 star reviews! They are liars and cheats and will rip you off. The equipment is totally dodgy and they rely on you to clean it. They trick you in and then give you a contract that states in fine print that they have a 10 minute drop time and if they are longer they can keep your deposit. They run late for drop offs then chat so it takes longer. For the love of god do not use them run for the hills!!!!!

My kids had so much fun and when the party started all the children played on the castle until the end of the party! Will order again!! Very efficient service.
Fun was had by all
We hired the entertainer pack and had a large jumping castle, a popcorn machine and a fairy floss machine for our netball club Junior presentation day. The kids had an absolute ball and the fairy floss and popcorn was a big hit. Will definitely look at rebooking in future years

They were responsive and prompt with their timings. The process from ordering through to payment was made clear and easy. The bond refund process is customer initiated but once requested, I had my money back on my card in 48 hours. Again, very prompt and responsive to the request. Will be working with these guys again

Good Value
Hired a jumping castle from from this company. At all times the people I dealt with were courteous and polite.Jumping castle was only hired for 4 hours but was actually at my house for the entire day and night which was great value. Only problem that I had was getting them to pick it back up the following day. Unfortunately the driver was delayed and caused me to be late for a function however Funtime did everything possible to minimise my inconvenience by sending out another driver who was very courteous and polite.
Excellent Service
I was always able to ask questions as needed before booking online easily. The large jumpy castle we hired was of good quality and delivered and picked up on time. Kids had a blast. Would definitely use again.

Dont use this company.
This company will cheat you of your money. Hired 3 machines. Slushie machine came without a lid and one side of the machine was faulty (did not freeze the slushie liquid). Called delivery guy and was told this “specific machine” did not come with a lid which is total crap. Called customer service and she admitted the machine should have come with lid and to wait out the machine and hope the slushie mix froze. I can confirm it did not. Since then I have not heard anything back from the company- no apology. No compensation. Written several emails to resolve the matter but still nothing. I didn’t pay this much money to hire a faulty machine missing parts that caused nothing but problems. I want my money back.
Joke of a company
Having placed an order for the hire of a photo booth with an attendant and also a jukebox, I received a call 2 days before the event saying drop off will be between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. On the night of the party, that time came and passed. I rang the office at 5:46pm to find out where the delivery was. The lady said she would get someone to ring me back. At 5.52pm I received a call saying that they were 10 minutes away. They turned up at about 6.15pm and I signed at 6.17pm. It then took about 30 minutes for the photo booth to be set up. We then a

So they had forgotten the jukebox and the other guy had to go and get it, I assume, from your warehouse. In the meantime, we also discovered that the props for the photo booth were not there either. The jukebox and props finally turned up at roughly 7.20pm. The photo booth kept breaking down over the night, and each time it took about 5 minutes to get it going again. Then the items were packed up earlier than the 3 hour hire time I paid for. So all up I only got about 2 hours and 15 minutes hire time. The attendant wasn’t very involved either, spending most of the night on his phone. Other parties I have been to with a photo booth, the attendant had been highly involved getting everyone highly interested. But as you can see from the photo, wow. The venue I had the event at, were appalled at the whole experience with your company. They even wrote down in their daily run sheet the whole thing. They said they would back me up. I have written emails to which no reply. I attempted 2 live chats, both times got disconnected without even an attempt at an answer, and I rang, again no call back about my complaint. So people, really think before using Fun Time Party Hire, more like Bad Time Party Hire.Avoid this company at all cost. Otherwise you'll regret it!
I would like to express my frustration and displeasure with the Funtime Party Hire business. Firstly on several occassions in emails and text messages from the company prior to the service being delivered, I was referred to by varying names (not even close to the spelling of my actual name). This really showed a lack of attention to detail and incompetence. Again not working, the machine was on, but nothing appeared on the main screen. When touching the touchscreen pad, I could hear sounds, but no visual representation. The customer service representative informed me that they would be getting in contact with the technician about troubleshooting or a replacement of the machine, however I did not receive a call back. Throughout the evening, I was the one calling back and was told the same line. I would have appreciated a courtesy call from Funtime Party Hire, but once again poor customer service. Following this event, I was in contact with the customer service representative again, again I had to initiate contact and they informed me that they are still awaiting contact from their technician to investigate and would also talk to the accounts team about a possible refund. Since then, I haven't heard back from the Funtime Party hire team. and it has been 7 days since last contact. If you are experiencing the same poor customer service from this business, I would encourage others to document/email their experience, as well as contacting the Department of Fair Trading. If you purchase goods or services, you expect a quality standard in the delivery. I have not had a "Fun Time" as marketed in Funtime Party Hire business name. I am really disappointed and frustrated that this has occured. Avoid this company at all cost and purchase this service elsewhere.Fantastic Company
I would highly recommend this company, we hired wine barrel package, stools and slushy machine. Had no problems with communication, they answered all queries promptly and efficiently. The products were great and the delivery guy that dropped off was great. No issues at all. Thanks
Pathetic service!!!
I have been waiting for a manager to call me back for three days with vague email replies. Hired an item which came incorrectly, wrong coloured fairy floss, shocking staff on the equipment, burnt floss smoking up a hall for a kids birthday. They dont answer calls or get back to complaints. Would not recommend. Beware!!!

Highly recommend. Excellent service from start to finish. Having 4 children i will definitely use the services again. Very accommodating to my every needs. Great customer service even when i became difficult.

Awesome jumping castle
Hired the medium jumping castle and service was great from the moment we booked on line, delivery, pick up and deposit refunded without any dramas. Highly recommend and will use again

Unfortunately we had to cancel a jumping castle as the party was not going ahead and were told we still had to pay the full amount as well as loosing our BOND.
I was more than happy to loose the BOND but not pay the full amount especially when the party has been cancelled.
I recommend you to NOT use this company.
Also there terms and conditions were sent to me AFTER the booking was made. I was not aware of any of this until it would have been to late.
Inflatable Castle / Slide Hire
Booking was fine, some confusion over deposit process and emails bouncing back, but all went well. Delivery was much earlier than planned, pickup was a little later than planned, much to the delight of my daughter who had an extra few hours to play.
Deposit refund process is a bit of a pain, having to contact and provide card number used for the deposit in order to get it back, rather than it just being refunded without us following up, but this is explained in the info provided when booking. Otherwise all good.
Overall good service, would use again.
Appalling customer service - defective product
The jumping castle had a themed banner attached to the front which fell off as soon as the children started bouncing. We replaced the banner - fell off again. We used duct tape to replace the banner and it fell of within half an hour. Disappointed children. The Velcro was so worn it just wouldn’t hold. We booked a jumping castle for a birthday party however it arrived late and was not inflated in time for the start of the party. I had to call to confirm where the driver was (no call to advise of late delivery). Although only 20 min late, still a bit disappointed that it was still being set up whilst guests were arriving.
Pick up of the castle was also late, over an hour so we received noise complaints from our neighbours to turn it off.
However that said the customer service via email and phone was good, friendly and responsive!
Great Experience!
We hired the Sumo Suits in July and hired a Photo Booth for a different party this past weekend, had great experiences both times. Staff were friendly and communicated well ahead of time, had confirmations days before both events. Drop off and pickup was organised within certain time frames and worked perfectly with my events. Products were as described, and had no issues with them.
If I did have some constructive advice it would just be to update the props that come with the photo booth, they were definitely well used. Nonetheless we still had a fabulous time with them. Thank you !
Poorly run business
Poor communication from the start. Secured booking online, no invoice received.The rest of communication was via phone and text. We were told Saturday was delivery when I rang to say we hadn’t received invoice.Never questioned it as that was when our party was. Text received Saturday to say delivery was changed to Sunday??? Apparently (I have no record of receipt but accidents happen!) it was booked for Sunday. When tried to discuss it’s no good for Sunday as party is Saturday, we were told bluntly

We hired a jumping castle for our 3 year olds birthday. We couldn't fault the service process in answering questions and booking in. Delivery was on time and the driver was fantastic in setting up. The invoice was sent to you already and was also read by you as per our system. It would be no problem for us to change the date if any of our others choose the wrong date by mistake but the thing was that it was booked for Sunday and you didn't tell us till until the day of your party and it was already fully booked on Saturday.
