I found the online store relatively easy to navigate through to get what I wanted [a replacement battery for my ZTE mobile phone to replace the original which seems to be failing]. I read through all the description a few times and cross-checked. OK. Ordered, paid through Paypal and received the replacement in good time. It didn't fit, being about 0.5 to 1mm difference in length. etermined that the battery I had ordered was actually a small milliamperage bigger: should probably have been ok but obviously wasn't. A refund was immediately initiated, and the provided battery could be 'ditched' as uneconimical to send back. I was unable to asses the quality of the product; my review comments are about the service provided by Gadget City, and I have to accept a measure of responsibility by not noting carefully enough the very small milliamperage difference. Red hot customer service
The Ebay store for Gadget City Australia very easy to use. Shipping is FAST. I've purchased many big $$$ items over a number of years and recommended that friends do the same.
Now for the main reason for this review. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING, seriously.
James and Matt went out of their way to ensure a great customer experience. I'm into scanning receivers and their support through after sales service is fabulous. Check out their Uniden UBCD536PT and USDS100 scanners OR any other product you're into. Prices are highly competitive, but great after sales service is what I look for in any seller.

Do Not Buy Online From This Store
I bought a UNIDEN GUARDIAN APP CAM XLIGHT online, within 7 working days sent them an email stating that it did not work and asked for a refund as per their faulty product warranty promises for refund.
The first thing they asked me to do is contact the Uniden and get a faulty product confirmation. After I got a confirmation email from Uniden and sent that email back to Gadget city, no communication what so ever from their side. Very poor service.
Never received item that was paid for. Instead of simply sending a replacement item, I got the third degree on whether or not my address was correct. I have received hundreds of items bought online sent to the same address. I just don't understand why this retailer was not interested in a fast and satisfactory result. Then, asking the same question twice, indicating he was not reading my emails properly. I will go elsewhere in future.

One of the worst online sellers I've communicated with
Wrong item sent. Ordered a 1350mAh battery, received a 650. Seller was rude and pushy in emails. Repeatedly claimed the manufacturer\distributor was at fault. A few phone calls to said company (head office) clearly shows they were not at fault. Stating they've never sold or even make a 1350mAh battery for a PS3 controller, only the 650.

I get my refund back through PayPal and am about to send him his battery back at my own expense, as I simply don't want anything to do with this immature and disrespectful person. Update.
