Very dissapointed
Reel works very well but after 18 months need to replace the main hose. I have just been advised by Gardena Australia that this cannot be done so my $260.00 hose reel is now a throw away item
Purchased in July 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$260.00.

mounting holes not suitable for a 50mm post
The mounting base holes need to be 65-70 mm apart impossible to mount the base to a 50mm galv post
finally used 6mm bolts still jammed tight against the post the base needs a complete redisign

Very happy with my purchase
I have had cheap retractable hoses in the past where either the hose and/or mechanical aspects fail. When i went to look at a new retractable hose this time round i simply based it on price, quality and warranty. This unit delivered on all aspects. The main benefit for me was the fact that its stocked at bunnings, and therefore any issues would generally be dealt with promptly.
Although physically bigger than other retractable hoses with a 25m hose, i felt like the quality of the housing was enough to make me choose it.

expensive non-battery option at bunnings, and a quick search revealed it was also more expensive than a 30m hoselink, but it was well justified. Coupled with a 5 year warranty, i am very happy with my purchase, and although i have only had it for 3 weeks, i am yet to have any issues.Purchased in January 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse.

High quality unit, quality hose and 5 year warranty return to Bunnings warranty
This is a quality unit with a quality hose. It comes with a nozzle but not a multi hand sprayer like other makes.
Dispensing and rewind a little nosier than Holman and Nylex but gather this is because it has a ratchet system.
Hose is 13mm and at 25 metres the water pressure is ok. Longer hose reels with thinner hoses do have less pressure. In my experience retractable hose reels can fail. With a five year warranty on the hose box and longer on hose I feel confident that I know I can take this back to Bunnings for replacement if it fails before the 5 years is up. (keep photocopy or image of receipt). the extra years of warranty and the hose quality justify the additional cost.

Great while they work, but two failures in 2 years
Great product when they work. Feel like solid quality build, look smart, very convenient for hose storage.
However, I bought a 25m and a 35m version just under 2 years ago when they had a 2 year warranty. Last October the 25m unit failed. Would not rewind at all plus all the insides and the hose were covered in a black powderish substance. Back to the retailer and I was given a replacement (which now have a 5 year warranty) and just now, 3 months later and it also has failed. It developed 2 large 'balloons' in the hose.
