Terrible, stay away!!

published

We purchased this watch for my 6 years old son who was dreaming of having a fitness watch. With all the excitement of the world we set it up and off he goes, 2 months later band broke completely so he can’t wear it anymore. The cost for original band half of the price for a brand new watch. Obviously when we took it back, this was not covered by warranty. My older son had the Fitbit Ace2 for over a year and works beautifully. Such a waste of money.

Purchased in at Officeworks Physical store for $99.

Good product but terrible communication from Garmin.

published

The product itself is fine - however I won't ever buy anything from Garmin again.
Be aware that when you register your product, they will pester you with emails and there is no opt-out option. You cannot reply to their emails, there is no 'unsubscribe' link (is that legal???) and the link to the 'contact us' is broken.
I have tried messaging them on facebook and my message was ignored.
Won't ever be buying Garmin products again.
If you do register your product with garmin, be sure to give a false email address.

Poor quality & buggy

published

I bought this for my 9YO daughter in September 2018. It has been consistently difficult to sync with my iPhone. Recently she told me that it stopped tracking her steps. Now the strap has broken. We chose it over the equivalent fit bit. My daughter regrets this choice.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $92.

Pathetic, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT

published

pathetic organisation, pathetic product, the bands continually tear and the new product I received burnt my 7 year olds arm as it got too hot. I contacted the company and am still awaiting a call back. That’s how much they care about the customers ( little kids )
Shame on you Garmin keep taking money and don’t worry about the aftermath

These things are absolute garbage

I have 3 of these for my kids. My son's has been replace 4 times with screen faults. The first appeared after 3 weeks! All of my kids now have screen faults on their watches. Garmin support is non responsive. Save your kids the sadness of busted watches and a poorly updated app and buy something else. The idea is great the product and app are rubbish!
