I have a gasmate 2 burner stove (MODEL NO. CS1095). Do I need to buy a regulator to use this with a 4kg gas bottle? Or can the gas hose be fitted straight to the 4kg gas bottle?
1 answer
No you don't need a regulator as it's built into the stove. Just put the hose and gas bottle on and it should work.

I bought 2nd hand (Gasmaster brand) 2 burner camping gas stove. The stove came with a house without a regulator. I connected the stove to the 9kg LPG gas cylinder to check it is working. Noticed a obvious gas leak (high pressure gas release sound )where the hose is connected to the stove area in the connector no holes in the hose (Unable to attach pic here). I thought the hose is the issue so bought a new hose to check, but the same issue exists. I am not sure gas pressure from the bigger LPG gas cylinder (9kg) is not suitable or 2 kg cylinder is the right choice for these kind of portable camping gas stoves or I need to buy a regulator for this. Your help in this regard is much appreciated.

Im having an issue 1095D with the flame going internally into the burner and heating the inside of the burner, why would this keep happening? this happened the first time using the stove

Sounds like not enough gas pressure. Have you opened up the gas valve (on the bottle) fully? And turned the stove knob halfway on (you should hear a hissing sound)?
I had the bottle valve open fully and a medium heat flame, it didn't happen straight away it was about 5 mins after using the stove, it then continued to happen after shutting it off and re igniting the burners

I have the two burner gasmate but when pushing the ignitor to light it it won't light

The ignitor is most likely faulty or the button itself is not clicking or making the required contact to exite the ignitor if th stove is under warranty return it.
Thank you..we bought it in another town so cannot return it.

can us use the with a regulator? is will it effect flow rate as i modified mini to fit larger gas bottles.. but flame is tiny and will not go very well?
1 answer
Bridget it’s not designed to work with a gas regulator. If you want to use a larger gas bottle, you just need the adaptor for the included hose (don’t use a regulator hose).

I have a 1305 I have just started using the gas does not seem to go past the elbow joint up the hose. If I remove hose the elbow (right angle) connection has gas flowing. Just one travel up hose. There is a tag on hose saying comes with safety shut off valve. How can I fix?
1 answer
All fixed, took me a few goes. Pressure valve on stove connector needs a bit of a push in.

I have a 2 burner Gasmate stove that we use on the outside of our motorhome connected to an external gas bottle, can i use a GAS BAYONET HOSE TO SUIT WEBBER Q, 3 MTR BRAIDED 3/8 SAE and hook the Gasmate stove directly to the bayonet fitting on the motorhome?
The gasmate stove comes with a hose that has a different 3/8 fitting, a Schrader Valve. do i need that or can I just hook the Gasmate up to the external bayonet fitting with a standard 3/8 fitting on the Gasmate end?
Cheers

Have a Gasmate 1095 in mint condition but no hose. Want to take it camping with our Caravan which already has 2 Gas Cylinders, Can I use these or regular "swap and go" Gas bottle and regular BBQ Hose?
2 answers
No the gasemate camping stove like most others uses a 3/8 size fitting you will need to get the hose for it and also the correct gas bottle that is the 3/8 in size.
Read somewhere that I could buy a 3/8 BSB LH adapter for regular 9kg gas bottles & buy a gasemate hose????
