Bought this after my old straightener gave up. It works very nicely on my hair and leaves it soft and straight.
Heats up very quickly and does not pull on my hair like some straighteners do.
The only con would be it is pricey.

This straighter works like a dream for my curly hair. It heats up quickly, has a beeper for those times it is left on for too long as well! Love this item!

I love this product so much! I have had this styler for 7 years+ and it is still going strong. It heats up incredibly fast (basically seconds), smooth gliding, easy to handle, and makes my hair look super soft and health (even though it's very fried due to bleaching). I think that the GHD is a staple piece for all girls and definitely will last a long time. I've used it in high school all the way up to post-uni and have had no issues with it.

I've had this hair straightener since 2011. It's never let me down and always gets my hair straight. It heats up within a few seconds after switching it on. I honestly don't know what i'd do without it once i finally dies :-( Good lifespan so far though!

I have absolutely no complaints about this straightener. When I first turned it on I was surprised by how quickly it heated up. It leaves my hair smooth and silky and the results actually last, unlike with other stylers. Don't know how it does it, but I'm happy nonetheless.

Heats up to a hot temperature really fast, has a small beep to let you know that it is ready to use. Straightens hair easily without snagging, and with some practice I have been able to do curls as well! I finally see what the fuss is all about.

This is the holy grail of all straightening products! I use this to both curl and straighten my hair and it always leaves my hair looking beautiful. Is expensive but quality is good so worth it.

I got this ghd straightener to replace my old ghd hair straightener that stopped working. I expected the quality of the new straightener to be the same or superior to my old ghd. Sadly this is not the case. I much prefer my old straightener. It still warms up very quickly but I find that my old one gave me better results.

This GHD looks stylish and heats up fairly quickly. Easy to hold and manage. Curls amazingly but also straightens hair easily. It does all this and yet the hair still feels protected.

This product is super easy to use, and gets me hair straightened quickly. It also heats up very fast and is definitely much better quality than other hair straighteners on the market. However curling your hair can be a bit of a challenge.

Seven odd years ago, I gave my GHD away, as I figured that I didn't need it having naturally straight hair. Fast forward to the present and the GHD is once again a staple feature of my bathroom vanity. After being reacquainted with the GHD through a friend, I realised how much easier it is to achieve waves, curls, bounce and dimension with the GHD IV Professional Styler than it was with the ancient curling wand I had been using.

My first GHD lasted five or so years with everyday use - I'm only using my current styler every once and a while, so I expect I'll have it for many years to come.

Very dissatisfied with this product. I have to run it over the same piece of hair 5 times to get it straight! Not worth the money! Shoddily made and false advertising!

I have owned my GHD straightener for 6 years now and despite it looking a bit weathered (from products, dirt, and usual wear and tear) my ghd straightener works perfectly.

I would not hesitate to purchase one again if mine is to ever fault

My hair is curly and thick, it takes anywhere 1-2 hours to straighten my hair with a bad straightener and it still won’t look half decent as it would if I had done it with a GHD, I have used GHDs for 10 years now and I won’t be changing they are absolutely amazing and last a long time (good care) Nothing works as good as a GHD! I swear by this brand!

I bought my GHD over 8 years ago and it is still going strong. Heats quickly and easy to use to straighten my hair or curl it. Leaves hair smooth and shiny. After 8 years of use, the plates are still strong and show no signs of giving up any time soon. Highly recommend GHD for anyone looking for a decent hair tool that goes the distance.

I bouugt one from the Macquarie shopping centre from Mayer on 28th April 2017 for my wife, the product was not really good. It takes time to heat up the straighter and doesn’t curl hair properly

I recently purchased a GHD IV Professional Styler. It is excellent and I'm very happy with this product. It heats up super-quickly - in a matter of moments, does not grip the hair too tight, so does not snag, is very smooth and easy to roll on the hair. Has a long cord, so can be used at a power-point some distance away if necessary, and it is a swivel cord, which makes it easy to use at all angles. Nothing negative I can say. I highly recommend this product.

I used to have a cheaper straightener and my hair would never really be straight but the frizzy look would be gone. I tried a friends GHD IV and was so impressed by how it left my hair I bought one for myself. It heats up really quick and has the swivel cord. I haven't noticed any snagging on my hair but i also use a heat protector. I love how quickly it straightens I have hair length just below the shoulders I usually find maximum 2 passes and I have straight styled hair. I'm really glad I purchased it. $$ well spent

My hair is straight on the top and I have full ringlets underneath so I needed a good and powerful hair straightener to make my hair the same. This straighter did the job okay but it wasn't super amazing as it made my hair fuzzy and I had to go over it so many times before it was completely straight. I ended up buying one from Target for $30 and it has been so great because it is so strong!
