We have been waiting & are still waiting for our new caravan now for over 5 weeks after we had settlement & had to pay money in full before they would work on the van.
Story starts
We are from Victoria & had to travel to SA to pick up van. We rang 2 times on the Friday before leaving to make sure the van was good to go for pick. They booked us for a Sunday pick up as they were to busy to fit us on a Saturday & had 3 others for Sunday. ( Well when we we there on the Sunday not a soul in site as they don’t work Sunday’s ) fo figure.

riday night so not to rush over there, we booked 2 nights accommodation at our cost to minimise the trip. Text the sales consultant on Saturday every thing still fine, for pick up. Left to pick the van up for a 12pm pick up, got a phone call at 11am to say van NOT READY. We have driven 10 hrs to pick up & be told 1hr before that the van was not ready & wouldn’t be until late Monday afternoon ( well sorry some of us have to work ). After a discussion they offered us another van well what a joke that was - no aircon/ heater unit installed ( which has to have silicone around it )no skylight vent in ensuite installed, no cushions, no tv, van in a filthy state but worst of all NOT THE COLOURS WE SELECTED & WAS TOLD BY THE SALES MANAGER THAT DIDNT MATTER. We were then offered another van in our country town that had been delivered new 2 days ago. Well there has not been a new van delivered to this yard in over 6mnths ( again more untruths ) So we got to see our van before leaving SA & the van was never going to be ready so we were lied to, aircon / heater not installed, cushions etc not installed & van was FILTHY DIRTY, CRACKS IN THE LAMINATE PANELS IN ENSUITE, even the guy doing handover had told us that this was not a settlement for that w/end & didnt know WHY IT WSASNT CANCELLED. He offered us a set of steps to get into the van for free for our inconvenience ( WOW ) ( don’t worry about the out of pocket expenses & time we lost due to LIES ). There has been nothing but untruths through out this whole drama & you cannot talk to anyone with any authority in the place as we have asked to speak to the manager/ owner of this business on several occasions & have been told he wont speak to you, ( again pathetic ).

Ready for the next stage in our life.
Jacob was absolutely brilliant in organising for us to view a few vans and explain everything to us. Because of distance, he even organised a video call for us to see the actual van we were thinking of buying. Jacob always called back promptly if we left a voicemail and couldn’t do enough to help us and provide any information we required. He accommodated all our requests for extras Eg: generator box which required the bumper bar to be reinforced. We think Jacob is a huge asset to the company.

hat on the day of pickup, a problem was noticed with our water pump. Sydney (salesman who walked us through handover) ensured all was good by having it replaces 3 times before he was satisfied with its performance and handing over. This was good, However, we were left to just hang around in the driveway for a couple hours while they worked on it. It would have been nice to have been offered a seat inside or at least a glass of water. The other problem was that I found shavings inside the cupboards from where things had been screwed or something. The rest of the van was clean on handover. These complaints are minor and are a reflection on minor details of service, not the quality of the van itself. Due to Covid-19, we have only been away for 1 night in our van and are yet to really use some of the appliances and features but are happy with everything so far. On a whole, Goldstar RV are good value for money compared to other brands we looked at.

beautiful van
very pleased with van. we live in NSW & van had SA plates with 3mths rego was a bit disappointed we lost the rego & had to pay almost $400 plus had to get a Blue slip to transfer in our name.
Van is exceptionally well made, we are very happy with the admin that have been communicating with us, they are very polite & helpful & professional.

LUXURY AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE
Firstly Jacob is a very good salesman & funny having only just picked up my 19.6FT Liberty van everything looks good cant wait to take it away . Jacob was very good at explaining all facets of the van Bonus is i got a very good deal on price. I will review this again after i have used it.highly recommend Gold Star at REYNELLA

Motel on wheels
In January 2020 we took possesion of a Goldstar 17'6 Liberty Tourer with dual axle that we had as a special order. We were very pleased with the whole process, we were very well looked after from the start to finish. Kelly and everyone at the Reynella show rooms were so helpful and friendly, they allowed us to visit as often as we needed to and for us to look at the vans wih other family members to give them an idea of what we were purchasing. friendly and helpful. We were told that it would take 22 weeks to build and it was definetly ready in that time frame. We love the van, it tows well behind our Prado. It is well made and feels like a motel on wheels. Above and Beyond service
From the time we arrived in Reynella we where had nothing but first class service from the sales team who firstly was able to sell on consignment my old pop top. We where shown a few vans that suited our purpose under no pressure we went home and decided which van we would buy at a very good price. rung factory and was told no problem could I please bring back after xmas break, I agreed to this and returned van a couple weeks after xmas all the time thinking oh my this will be ongoing I will be back again and again. Well a week later a message please come and pick up van so on a arrival was told sorry for taking so long short on staff, the only way I was able to find van was the keys in my pocket fitted the gas bottle holder its completely a new van perfectly fixed, so that's my story would I recommend yes, would I buy another van yes, very pleased and happy. Goldstar Liberty Tourer
I picked up my van in November 2022 on a 46 degree day. I was shown over the van and everything worked perfectly. I towed it back to Sydney and it towed beautifully.
They also did some modifications at no cost. Everything in the van is top quality. I’m very impressed with the fit out quality especially for the price. Everything else I looked at was at least $20k more and in most cases not as good.
So far I can’t fault the van in any way.
Love the shower, toilet, very comfy bed, kitchen, storage...... in fact everything suits our needs perfectly. I would certainly be happy to recommend this van.

Bad service
Please read the bad reviews and not only the 5 star ones. My Van has been paid up to date emails has been send and no reply. It’s been 6 weeks overdue. Be careful dealing with this company. I am on the edge of taking them to VCAT. They still have my dep. which should of been refunded by now. Still no answer about that to. irm if you think I am taking rubbish. I have send [Name Removed] a email with a question and no respond. I am tired of playing this game of up and down. I still don’t have a van. I have requested that while I don’t have a van and all funds has been made into your account that I must be reimbursed as I don’t have the van, I think this is a fare reimbursement. As the date of delivery has been pushed out as is being pushed out by now 2 months. So if you are say you want the best possible outcome, please reply to my emails that has not been answered as yet. If you want me to provide proof or if you have half the credit or ability, you would give me a call, so I can explain all of this. As I said begg dag ore I have all the emails that I can publish on this review. But you do not want to discuss this as you have failed to commit to your commitment. Good value for money everything, works perfectly and is easy and stable to tow. Very good appliances, large shower in the on suite, nice finish all round. We had it modified to suit our specific needs and Jacob and the team were great arranging our modifications. Very happy with our purchase.

Good customer service
Sales manager Jacob was extremely helpful in the design layout of our new van.
Build quality is very good solid frame and chassis. Excellent appliances and fittings. No trip yet but on 50 km trip home towed straight and true up to 105 kph on expressway. Detailing for delivery could have been better, and some penetrations will need better sealing, overall I am happy this van will meet our expectations. I would recommend to potential buyers. 21 ft liberty tourer with independent suspension.

Great value for money
We've owned a number of caravans over 40 years. The Goldstar Liberty Tourer's under carriage and chassis is the strongest of any of the vans we've owned. The customer service provided by Jacob was excellent. The van is very well appointed inside with the same quality apliances found in the more expensive vans on the market. Highly recommend Goldstar RV.

Great Van and Service
Recently purchased Goldstar RV Maverick 20ft
The experience with sales Kelly / Eddie in finance made the process so easy no stress and a pleasure to deal with.
The van is solid and well made and finished well inside and out .
My first trip on 80km of gravel towed well. No probs

I got my Goldstar RV Caravan 12th May 2016. I cannot fault Goldstar RV. Any time there has been a Warranty issue they have bent over Backwards to fix it.
I got my Van back from Goldstar RV. I could not be more pleased. They just done everything to my Van. They re- did the Electricals, Cladding and anything else they could find that was a problem. Hey Nigel, thanks for your inquiry. The Goldstar Liberty Tourer is a lightweight, easy to tow caravan built using aluminium frames and high density compressed foam inside a one piece sandwich panel construction for the walls and the roof. Depending on the size, it can easily be towed, already set up for free camping and has industry standard appliances, fittings etc. Cheers
