very disappointing, wasted my time and money.
Goodlife Health Clubs WAwaste of money for what it is, equipment Brocken for months, hygiene and cleanliness is way below average, gym full of good life employees who can't and won't help you, sur charge you thru the nose to cancel membership. have made countless calls and send them emails just to cancel. my mebership - weels later nobody gets back to me or call me back . absolute waste of my time and money, do your self a favour people - go elsewhere, there are so many other better gyms and way cheaper too.
Innaloo is disgusting
Goodlife Health Clubs WAGoodlife in Innaloo is dirty and outdated, the sauna/steam room are disgusting and often out of order. Dust and stains everywhere that never get cleaned, very disappointed.
BEWARE
Goodlife Health Clubs WABe careful with their contract it is a roll over, if you don't cancel they continue to bill you!
Very nice when you sign up, then nothing.
They don't advise you your contract has ended. Bibra Lake.
I would suggest a more reputable operator.
Threatening Debt Collectors - Don't fall for the threats
Goodlife Health Clubs WAHaving left this outfit 3 years ago and after multiple harrassing threats of debt collection, despite owing nothing more in fees, these so-called collectors have yet to show up on my doorstep. Don't believe them, they use this tactic to scare you but never ever carry it through. Terrible business. Liars. Avoid like the plague.

Dishonest and Horrible Club
Goodlife Health Clubs WAI joined the club on a promotional 7 days "free trial". After 5 days of trial I decided not to continue and cancelled the membership. Payment was taken as soon as I signed up for the free trial, which is not the concern. The issue is even after cancelling the membership under 7 days, it took around 8 phone calls and every time their response was, the refund is being processed. It took nearly 3 months for partial refund as they did not disclose admin and coaching fees were applicable until after signing up (this amount was not refunded)
I would never recommend Good Life Health Club if you're looking for decent honest gym. Avoid them at all costs.
Not a good choice
Goodlife Health Clubs WANot a good option. I am trying to end my contract due some personal issues and it’s a 300$ fee. They don’t understand anything. It’s just about money
Dishonesty about cancellations process
Goodlife Health Clubs WAU should aware of Cannington GoodLife customer service staff is very dishonest and not fair with cancellations process. I have all evidence even I challenge them in court but for small thing I don't want court .but surely if they doing this kind of dishonesty and lie they will face the court.
Aggressively Mediocre
Goodlife Health Clubs WAMy wife and I went here for just over 18 months before changing to another gym. For us, the cons outweighed the pros. I'll list all of them to help people make their own decisions.
Pros:
- Large range of okay equipment (not great but serviceable)
- Lots of fitness class options
Cons:
- It's hands down the worst facility we've ever been to for having people unrack their weights or wipe down equipment. The staff try to do it a bit but don't come close to keeping up.
- The gym does get extremely busy quite often, so equipment can be hard to use.
- Even though we finished our 18-month contract, we were still charged for 30 days after cancelling. Which while a part of all their contracts, just seems very unfair.
Terrible place.
Goodlife Health Clubs WABefore signing up they said they would show me how to use the equipments as this was my first time signing for the gym ever. After signing they said I have to get a personal trainer to teach me how to use the machines which I did but could not continue to pay $99 per fortnight. I stopped going for a while due to ill hhealth and I went to cancel after my contract is up, however they will continue to bill me for the next 30 days whether I use it or not. This has totally put me off signing up for any other gym. I am better off hopping on youtube and learning to train by myself. Only after your money!!!

‘Goodlife - unless you have kids’
Goodlife Health Clubs WAAfter being sold a membership on the basis it had crèche sessions included I’m very upset they have cancelled it without telling me (I found out through other disgruntled members over Facebook) and I still have to pay the same membership fee despite this service no longer being available. I’m unable to attend now without the help of crèche so I will be looking elsewhere and never returning to goodlife
Not a good experience
Goodlife Health Clubs WAWhen I cancelled (by phone as no email was provided in contract), GL employees were unwilling or unable to provide an email address to direct cancellations to, despite requesting one for evident legal reasons. In numerous follow up calls I was pressured to keep the contract, again and again brought up by GL as 'option', while the cancellation or termination was ignored, and no final account received. Weeks of calls and SMSs went nowhere, only obliging GL to discuss the matter by email got their attention. GL's conduct is questionable. Definitely not a "good" experience. And this is only about the last chapter of "getting out".
Untrustworthy & deceitful company
Goodlife Health Clubs WAI took over a membership in 2020 then moved to weekly busy bee after paying out remainder of that cost. Requested to cancel but was told a fee of $245 was required to "complete term", Goodlife could not produce contract signed stating any of this including a remaining term. Don't trust these guys
Questions & Answers
Can I ask which Goodlife Health clubs in Perth WA have a swimming pool ??
My home club is in Bibra Lake which has a pool. I have just upgraded my membership to be able to use all the Goodlife gyms in Perth..
Bibra Lake Pool is great but has been out of action for months and the LIES about repairs are laughable. Ring and ask about pool!
Just wondering how often the Gym gets cleaned? I have been going to the Cannington gym for over 10 years and It is starting to feel VERY unhygienic. Equipment especially the treadmills, steppers and bikes etc are very dirty and dusty with paper towels left on them etc. The floor is always filthy with peoples old drinkbottles, socks, gloves etc lieing around for days.
The equipment often does not work having to change to at least 3 different treadmills at times to get one that works. Trying to watch TV from them is always an issue too. They always say 'no signal' or you cant put your earphones in the port.
All this is really starting to bother me and am seriously looking at changing gyms. It is not cheap to attend a gym so we expect higher standards for the money we are paying.
Bibra Lake has not been maintained properly since these incompetents took over. Always dirty!
I have spoke to Goodlife staff after being discharged from hospital and fed back I would never return to Goodlife. This would be three months ago. I canceled membership and direct debit I had been a member for several years. I have notified all concerned. Please leave me alone and no more emails, phonecalls texts or letters. I payed for ambulance and medical care. No first aid for available at goodlife, ice and absorb ant guaze. Allison Corbett .
