They provide the wrong advice, lie about it and then fail to fix their mistake
Stay away from Manningham Gordon Conveyancing, they provided us the wrong advice on how to structure our home ownership and we get a letter from the ATO months later indicating what it should be and that we need to fix it. We show them the letter and they say that that is what we asked them to do when in fact it was their staff that advised us incorrectly in the first place. The didn't want to correct their mistake and the manager lied about it after we provided evidence to the contary. Very untrustworthy, not accountable and would not recommend them to anyone. Not only that they are slow at responding and you always have to call them.

Worst Experience with Gordon Conveyancing
Extremely Poor Service. Worst experience of my life with these guys. Do not go to these guys for your conveyancing services unless you want to experience very bad service and delays in your settlements.
Gordon Conveyancing gets negative stars from me.

Stunned at the poor reviews!
As first time investment property buyers - We had no idea where to start, particularly as we wanted to purchase a property in Melbourne, and we live in QLD. We were recommended Gordon Conveyancing by a family member, and everything went without a single hitch. I am stunned by the poor ratings here! I will definitely be using this company again, and recommending to all my friends and family.

Very Bad Experience, client lost $5000 penalty
One of their staff advised our client that 'bridging loan' is not available. Client has to settle by cash. It scared our client. I wonder if this staff can read English well. They could not communicate with the vendor solicitor very well. Me as the mortgage broker has to do all the job for them. Due to their incompetency, my client suffered $5000 penalty for late settlement.
We have some other mutual clients, not very smoothly experience, if the case is not vanilla.

Extremely bad experience...
If you are after a Conveyancing company that will support you then you should look elsewhere. Unfortunately we only looked at the reviews of Gordon Conveyancing Manningham after it was too late so we suggest reading all other reviews - especially the one stars as they parallel our experience with Gordon Conveyancing Manningham. Communication was bad and left to the last minute and mistakes were made by Gordon Conveyancing when submitting documents which resulting in delays in settlement. We learned the hard way that saving a few dollars on a "cheap" Conveyancer is not worth it.

Never use this company!
This is the worst conveyancer company ever! We are first home buyer and buying in a different state to where we live, so we decided to get a conveyancer in the state where we building as they will know more about the rules and regulations. When i spoke to [name removed] on the phone he sounded so helpful and happy to help us out and i thought oh how lucky we manage to find a good conveyancer but i was so wrong!
I sent our land contract to [name removed] so he can review and let me know if everything was fine to sign. When i spoke to [name r...Read more
emoved] about the contract he just say yea everything is fine just the normal contract and he sounded as if he didn't bother reading it. After we sign the contract and sent it back to the developer, they came back to us as there was a mistake on the contract and we had to resign one part. To me this mistake should have been pick up by our conveyancer before we sign and send it back to the developer. Later on, our builder was emailing our conveyancer and they weren't responding to them until i had to personally emailing them and telling them that our builder had emailed them a week ago and there has been no respond on their side. They quickly respond back to me saying they already responded - which my builder have the date they responded back to them was the day i emailed and asking what's happening!! There is still more, once our broker applied for our mortgage the bank we are going with was asking for a confirmation document from our conveyancer as there was a small irregularity in the land contract. This time again they didn't respond to my broker's email and i had to email them telling them to respond to my broker's email. Then they responded back to me saying they already reply to their email which again was sent on the day i email them! Furthermore, on this matter they responded back to me saying it is not part of their job to be sending this sort of confirmation and that bank never asked for such document! My broker informed me that this sort of confirmation is not unusual and that some banks do asked for it! Once it was time to settle the land, they told us we will need to print the documents ourself and sign it and send it back to them!! All the company I've been dealing with the process of this house not one of them have told me to print the documents myself and to pay for the postage! For the price we paid this company the least they could have done was to send us the documents to sign and pay for the return postage. Not only that, they send the documents to us on the 29th May and telling us we have to send it back urgently before 1st July and the date they wrote on the document was 28th May plus there were many mistake made on the documents and some part was not clear to us as to where we needed to sign. They didn't gave us any instructions which page to sign!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not a fixed price and dis honorable service
Very unprofessional. After agreeing to allow them to represent us the contract had exclusions for some services. At our first meeting I explained details of the sale and the purchase of the new property and was never told about the extra fees,
No...they were in the fine print, that I did not see and was not told about... What fixed price?
Then we received the contract to sign, with no purchase price on the contract. They had to hand write it in, so now we have to initial the change and then had to have the seller initial the change as well....Read more
