Great value but be aware of use-by dates and cheap options
I've used GroceryRun a few times now and found it great value for a limited range of products. You need to get a fair bit to make the shipping worthwhile but delivery was within a week and when you think about your petrol and time to go to the shops, it's not bad!
Just be aware with food items (especially chocolates etc) that if they're extra cheap, they're probably nearly at their use-by date (not a problem if you're going to use them soon) and I've noticed that coffee, shampoo etc can be produced in a different country from usual (e.g. Thail...Read more
and- forgot where)- where the standards are not necessarily the same as here... like when you buy those products at the Reject shop. Otherwise, I find it very good for the occasional buy-up and some fun products as well as the useful items and odd great bargains! Value, reliable, easy, interesting products, some great bargains Limited range, some cheap imports for known brands

Good if you're ordering a lot
I ordered 5 neutrogena lip balms from this site. The lip balms were a great price, and there was an $11 shipping cap. I ordered 5 so that shipping worked out to be a couple of dollars per item. My order arrived today, and there was only one lip balm in the package. I contacted them about it, and they apologized for the inconvenience of the missing items, and immediately offered me a refund of the missing items. I was left paying for the 1 lip balm I received, and $11 for shipping of this one item. I'm just extremely disappointed as if I had of ...Read more
known I could only order 1, I would never have bothered as the $11 shipping made the product much more expensive than just purchasing from a local store. I don't think I'll be purchasing from this store again as its much easier just to run up the street to the local store and know that once you pay for something you will receive it. inexpensive products Expensive shipping, only finding out a product is out of stock after the rest of the order has been delivered and items are missing, no refund on shipping for missing items1 comment

Great idea and very convenient
I would like to share my experience with grocery run.
I brought $120 worth of groceries which I received this morning. So I ordered them on Saturday the 26th and got them this morning the 30th, so it really took 2.5 days to get to me when I take out the weekend. I think that's pretty good.
Items were well packed. i noticed the used by dates were from august to december this year on there main stream items, They have a clearance section also which is great value. Just beware that the clearance items are usually near there used by date by a c...Read more

Not always a bargain
I have dealt with Grocery Run twice, both times no dramas. Parcels arrived in a timely manner and packaged well.
I have only purchased items in bulk that I know I will use and need (i.e. toothpaste, bodywash, beauty products, cleaning goods) simply because it saved me the effort to buy them from the supermarket. I have never purchased food as I am always suspect of expiry dates and things melting.
Would not recommend this site to people who only buy a few things, I usually purchase $100 or more to make it worthwhile and compare prices with catalogues and other online stores to decide if its a bargain.
Some interesting products
Very expensive postage

Overall Okay-Good
Quick delivery and no hassle shopping. Great site if you like biscuits, chocolates, and things you don't often buy. I found that I was ordering more than I actually needed to get the deal and to justify the delivery costs. I'd recommend this site to others but won't often use it because of the delivery costs associated with it. I haven't investigated whether or not you can order a little from one offer then more from another offer etc so you get exactly what you want in a shop.
Inexensive products
You spend more than you need

For the third and probably the last time, I have tried to place an order. Have followed instructions and created a new password but still cannot log in. What is the problem???

I have tried many times myself to order some wine. I saw the ad on Current Affair then waited a couple of days. I find their website so frustrating as it just doesnt show the correct icons to click on. I am now using my library's computer believing there is a problem with my home PC but I am having the same problem here. I worked out that by the time I buy the wine and pay postage, I am only a couple of dollars per bottle ahead financially and I really dont think it is worth the bother.
