Very efficient service
Fantastic! Always has some amazing offers. And delivery is quite fast. Quick easy transaction. So much variety as well. I will definitely purchase from this app again.

Like the variety but...
Been using GroceryRun ever since it came out but as of this year (2017) the shipping that uaed to be a flat rate has changed dramatically. It shipping costs now depend on weight so your shipping cost can vary. There was no warning of this change. So, whatever bargain you may think you're getting isn't really as cheap as it used to be.
Would of been nice if shoppers were informed of the changes but we weren't. You only find out when you're at the shipping part. Rather disappointed to be honest.

Wonderful service from my laptop to my home in a matter of days, safe, secure and no problems.
I have not found any faults as a disabled woman this service is excellent, gives me freedom to shop myself for myself with complete confidence.

What sort of grocery run doesn't include Baked Beans?
The Choice is very limited. No option to avoid companies with bad reputations, such as John West. Everything was in bulk.

Terrible customer service. Have waited 3 weeks for a response to my return request and still no response after the initial "We'll get back to you in 48 hours" automated response. In general I'm finding them less competitive than they used to be so I rarely order. Wish I hadn't this time!

No longer ordering from Groceryrun
Groceryrun offers poor service. They obviously don't know how to pack. Soap powder & liquid detergent leaking all over biscuits, chocolates, etc. Sometimes the bottles are almost empty as everything has drained out. Despite my complaints it continued to happen.
One dog rug I ordered I sent to the tip. It wasn't usable. Other dog rugs on the other hand were excellent.
Hopelessly slow delivery - sometimes months. I have given up ordering from them.
I live in a remote area & I now happily pay 3 times the delivery cost to have my orders from Coles arrive beautifully packed & within a week of ordering. Obviously good service comes at a cost.

Be aware of the quality of some of the items sold there
I recently purchased a pet food mat from them. It's just not usable. I wrote to them twice about it and it took them a long time to get back to me. The reply from them is quite amusing for the use of a simple pet food mat. Here is the reply from their customer service: "We have checked the product and although it can be testing to straighten, all you would need to do is roll the mat out and use warm water to dip it in. Roll the mat out but in reverse (generally opposite to the way it was rolled when you receive it) and it will eventually straig...Read more
hten as normal." And guess what it has broken into pieces when it's rolled out in reverse! Plus I haven't even complained to them that the package has already been opened in two boxes of the chocolate I ordered! Is it safe to eat?Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not great Just ok
I live remote so have used Grocery Run a lot, just because it is cheaper than using the remote community stores.
Here is what I have found -
Items can be quite small: They have smaller items than whats sold in chain supermarkets so it is important to not make assumptions about size, so read the description.
Postage and processing times take a long time.By the time the items get to me it is usually 3 weeks after the order. they don't seem to post the order the following day after payment, it can take up to a week for them to process and send out.
I like the fact that they sell items that I haven't seen in the shops and they seem to get items from America.

Expired skincare
Dont buy any of their olay products. I purchased 2 and on one of them it came with a warranty of authenticity dated 2012 which is so old the product is ineffective.
Will never buy from them again

No good anymore. Woolies is cheaper
I used to buy from grocery run TWICE, THREE TIMES a week for years until they upgraded their website and now haven't bought anything at all. No freebie friday, no $1.00 items n NO cheap prices at all. I've priced up their goods n compared to woolies or even coles and these supermarkets are way cheaper. N even the clearance items aren't cheap like they used to be. No good won't buy from u anymore n no word of a lier, i shopped with them for years. Very disappointing.

Was excellent but not now
I used to order from here every month sometimes more often for years, but since the change to the site the quantity of product on offer is tiny, prices aren't as cheap & it's always the same stuff. I very rarely order now. Go back to the way it used to be, then il give 5 stars

Going downhill!
I have used GR for some years now, no problem delivering to PO boxes, and expect things to take a little longer than usual. BUT it seems recently that all there is on offer in the pantry is lots of lollies, confectionery, chips and biscuits. What happened to the tinned goods, tomato pastes, tuna meals, savoury biscuits, to name a few. Deodorants have disapeared as have many other items, and choice has become very limited on other items I used to rely on GR for.

Nice products, long delivery time
I've ordered off grocery run a few times and I like the items and everything has come damage free etc. The delivery time is long though, my latest order won't arrive until next week, by then it would be 2 weeks since I ordered it. The last order took a similar time to get here (I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt if it's the occasional order, but it seems to be a regular thing). So it's fine for the occasional non urgent type of item like confectionary but terrible for nappies :( Just be aware of this and don't rely heavily on a quick delivery (in time for a party or something). Order well in advance :)
I find the app quite handy, it's easy to order from, and looks quite cool too :)

Excellent Delivery
I live in the Adelaide Hills and we have no postal delivery, Australia Post does not deliver to our home address, so no calling card can be left behind to inform us to collect our parcel from our local Post Office, the suburbs are Littlehampton, Nairne, Mount Barker etc. We rely on our PO Boxes at the local Post Office for all mail and parcel delivery. Last time I checked Catch of the Day does not deliver to PO Boxes.
Time to wake up, there are many thousands of people living up here, check the demographics of people living in the Adelaide Hills regions.

Perfect shopping site for busy people
I am a very busy person, I literally dont have any time to shop. Forget groceries, even for myself. Hectic lifestyle right!
Grocery run website made my life so so easy. I am so glad to find this website. They have everything I need. Good brands, very very good price. A geniun thank you for you!
I really don't understand why all these negative comments. Ofcourse it takes a long time to dispatch, all products are from different category and I am sure theu have a huge warehouse. Online business as not easy as people think! Also, it is ok that they charge for shipping. Think about the petrol and time you spend for shopping.. Paying $10 for shipping is way better..
I am very happy with this website and I can recommand it to anyone..

Confectionery not always fresh
Several times I have found that various confectionery products have not been fresh; ie: Strawberry Frogs have solid centre instead of soft. Jersey Caramels and Bananas also hard Very disappointing

Very slow to despatch orders!
It has been 3 full business days since my order was marked as 'payment received' (paid instantly with card on paypal) and order has not progressed any further. The prices are very competitive, especially with protein bars and powders, however, this is the third or fourth order I have made that has taken this long just to despatch. When products are marked 'in stock' you expect it to be shipped out a bit quicker then they currently do. I work in one of Australia's busiest warehouses myself and we ship out hundreds of truckloads a day of grocerie...Read more
s ordered the day before or even the same day so don't understand why they are so slow? I like the prices but sometimes your better off just paying a little extra and getting it from the store. Free postage offer
Spend over $80 and get free postage offer. Sounds great, offer ends midday Saturday. Sorry too bad if you live outside of Sydney or Melbourne your offer has expired already. T&C's need to state AEST or honour the time difference.

Greedy company
I use to get lots of chocolates and other things off grocery run and loved it! Now I guess because they are more popular they decide to put their prices up so high. I could understand 1 or 2 dollars but it's more than that. I use to buy the box of freddo frogs (strawberry 72 pack) for $19.95 and it was great. Now they have put it up to $28.95 what? That's almost $10 more. They have done this with all of their chocolates and sweets. I won't be buying from them again until I see a better price. You are suppose to save by buying in bulk. This is just plain greed!

For the third and probably the last time, I have tried to place an order. Have followed instructions and created a new password but still cannot log in. What is the problem???

I have tried many times myself to order some wine. I saw the ad on Current Affair then waited a couple of days. I find their website so frustrating as it just doesnt show the correct icons to click on. I am now using my library's computer believing there is a problem with my home PC but I am having the same problem here. I worked out that by the time I buy the wine and pay postage, I am only a couple of dollars per bottle ahead financially and I really dont think it is worth the bother.

Thanks for the review and feedback. We're sorry to hear that you found the choices on offer limiting, and we'll certainly take this into consideration for future improvements.
Hopefully we can have a larger variety of products on offer soon.
