Such an awful piece of equipment. Great big chips fall off the surface, but they will not replace it because they said we must have done it. I will never buy anything from them.

I purchased this when I updated the kitchen. The last cooktop I had had control knobs and was a pain to clean. This one is very easy to use with touch controls, it has a timer and a childproof lock. It took about 2 minutes to figure out how it all works and it does come with a manual. I don't cook a lot so is suits my small pots and pans and is easy to wipe down when I'm done. However, one burner has discoloured after only 2 months of use and I'm not sure why. I don't use harsh cleaners and the base of my pots have been clean, and I am careful. In terms of heat up and power, the four burners have different strengths from 1200W, 1700W and 1800W. This is a low price cooktop that suits my basic cooking needs.
