If you wash bulky, buy something else.
Purchased for its 9.5kg load and no agitator, 2 years ago. We wash kangaroo pouches (cloth ones not real ones), for our mob of animals in care.
Average load of 6-7 kg.
Sad object. It overbalances on every single load, do a wash that should take about 90 minutes takes most of the day. Drives me nuts.
Great machine if you don't do bulky items like sheets, doonas and so on.
Purchased in June 2021 at Harvey Norman Appliances Physical Store for $700.00.

Complete garbage...
We bought this because we wanted a metal body machine with no agitator and simple operations (no complex digital control panel). We figured this would give years of service and be easy enough for any of the kids to use. How wrong this decision was... This is the most frustrating appliance we've ever owned. it NEVER completes the spin cycle (continually reports an out-of-balance condition) no matter what load size we have, and the load size option selected. The machine is on a tiled floor, and is perfectly-leveled so installation is not the problem. After six months, I've had no option but to throw this money down the toilet and buy something else.

The worst washing machine I have ever purchased, what a waste of my hard earned $800 that was used
This is the worst washing machine I’ve ever had the displeasure of purchasing! $800 dollars of my hard earned money wasted! I will never recommend this product to anyone! This machine just refuses to go into a spin cycle without banging all over the laundry room, even with the smallest load!!!

Save your money, worst lemon sold
Biggest waste of money. Fixed twice in just over 12 months. Continually over balances, generally takes around 3 hours to do a load and that's eith me continually shifting washing inside the machine.. Struggles with a couple of shirts and under wear. Extremely disappointed and will not purchase this brand again

Love it!!
I wash everything from school and work clothes to sheets and lingerie..it hasn't missed a beat in 5yrs, i love it..one thing that i don't with is that the plastic control panel cracked and the paint has flaked off and it's now rusted on the lid.. i can't find a lint filter but i purchased lint filter balls from wish.com and haven't ever had issues with tissues or lint on clothing.. i would definitely buy another if given the choice

Disappointed in haier washing machine 9.6kg
I cannot believe anyone would manufacture a machine without a filter, as it is something that I always thought was standard, you don't even think to look for this, as an option when purchasing. I also find if you do have a full load it doesn’t spin fully and I have to respin, time consuming when you have a large family and endless washing.
Very disappointed, would not recommend at all. Not a cheap machine either.

Do Not Buy
Had it 3 months, fixed twice for the same issue. It will get to the rinse cycle and continually become unbalanced and beep over and over and over again. Now the stupid thing wont drain and has half a drum full of water in it. I will never buy a Haier washing machine again! I am so over it!

Piece of garbage
Total garbage Do not buy one of these washing machines! mine has been laying up since I owned it at 4 months old needs a gearbox and a suspension replacing which I’m still waiting for parts to be replaced. Service guy was going to request a replacement but company refused. When it would try spin it sounded like plastic was snapping off it and shake the whole house stop spinning and need re balancing we now also have oil or something appearing on clothes. Not happy!

Giant waste of money
I wanted to buy a bigger washing machine for my growing family, within the first week of having it the agitator at the bottom of the bowl snapped off. This was not ideal but I didn't think it would become one of the biggest lemons I've ever bought. The repairer who came out said this was a common fault. I should have returned it then and there.
This machine leaves lint on everything and it's so noticeable on black and rewashing (many times) does nothing to remove it. Everything comes out in one tangled knot and you'll be lucky if the clothes...Read more
are actually clean. It has now come to the point where I have to pre-soak anything that has even minor soiling in order to get some semblance of clean clothes (which is not great when you have dirt magnets for children). I really wanted to like this machine, it was big, looked and felt robust and it is simple to use, but those things don't really matter if it doesn't do the job it's meant to. I'm buying a new washing machine this week and it won't be a Haier.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Do not buy haier washing machines
We bought this machine from masters when they were closing down 6months ago, it's the worst machine we have had in our life.
It tangles up the clothes, has no filter fluff on all our black clothes and even undies. When it spins makes such a horrific noise nearly the house shakes then it stops. We have had enough going to look at buying a new one today. This machine is only good for washing your dog blankets in that's what I will use it for now or go straight to the tip.
Can't believe it's Taken 6monthz to get rid of this s..it

worst machine ever
takes way to long to wash, in the first week i had to have it repaired (no cost to me) the agitator fell off. Now it's leaving spots on my clothes, where's the lint filter. I would highly advise people not to buy this make, I know I won't ever again.

Biggest Piece of crap I have ever owned. Replaced one within 3 months now this one has broken down
Suspension went in the first one within 3 months.
Second one needed new suspension within 6 months and now a month later no longer spins or drains.
Biggest piece of crap I have ever owned and I will be contacting Department of Fair Trading. I want my money back. Terrible

Heap Of Crap Chinese Rubbish
Agitator and control panel keep failing, shamefully loud (need earmuffs) In constant need of repair (5 repairs so far) useless washing quality free to anyone who wants to pick it up. I'll be buying an american made speed queen same as the laundry mats use, with manual dials, if you buy this HAIER brand you will get your chance to visit a laundry mat and see for yourself what the pros use.

This machine is rubbish!!!
I purchased one of these machines recently. Didn't even have it a week before it started to break down. It's noisy. Won't spin without going out of balance and stopping. Takes hours to do one load of washing because of consistent stopping. Currently fighting with company to get a replacement. They insist they can fix it. They don't seem to be rushing to do so. They think it is the suspension. On a brand new machine I ask? The company is reluctant to deal with these issues to the point of being rude. They don't call back when they say they will. Very difficult to deal with in the event of a faulty machine. Do not buy one of these machines - you will waste your money.

get what you pay for
great washer BUT it has its problems got it about a month ago & no lint filter so i expected lint on clothes. Throws itself out of balance twice during the wash cycle which is a huge pain in the ass. No softner place which isnt a problem unless mum uses it.as was told but the company that softner actually causes more problems. Had a PYE 8.5kg before this & it lasted 3 years replaced 2 agitators. simpson 5.5kg before that only lasted 1 year. mum has had her haier twin tub for well over 10 years & never had problems so i thought id give the brand a go not happy.

just made it out of warranty!!!!!
This was bought for us as we live in a company house.
average cleaning ability, especially with full loads.
leaves a lot of lint etc on clothes.
So just over a year old and the shaft water seal has started leaking, which in turn has damaged the bearing.
It sort of washes and spin cycle is very slow, clothes come out very wet!
With us living in remote Australia its takes about 2 weeks to get another machine. Also no Technician will come out to assess it if it was warranty.
Very disappointed.

Total Garbage
We sadly, purchased two of these machines less than 3 months ago, one for a house which is 150km from nearest retailer or repairer. Both machines, within a week of each other had the base of the machine floating up, there was no water agitation. Always been loud, since purchase. Retailer directed us to repairer for warrantee, we wanted them replaced. Apparently it was the pulsator and I saw another base the same in the repairers truck. He indicated it was a common problem. Waited two weeks for the one in our home to be repaired, still waiting f...Read more
or the one we dropped off a day earlier to the repairer. Now three weeks. We have had to purchase a third machine ( Simpson which washes beautifully). I have just washed a sheet and a pillowcase in the newly repaired Haier, that were clean other than I was trying to remove a greasy mark. They have come out covered in black stuff ( have never used fabric softener in this machine). Washed them again, now have even more black stuff on them. Waiting for retailers response. Hopefully they will replace the two Haier crap machine with one decent brand. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Don't Buy this crap washer
Pure crap! Purchased this washer and matching dryer 17 months ago from HHGregg. Also bought the HHGregg warranty. Washer was used lightly (2 people) and replaced an old Maytag that I figured was close to life end since it was 12 years old. Should have kept the Maytag and not wasted my money. The washer filled but would not cycle. Called HHGregg which sent me to warranty (Warrantech). They would not even repair or replace it. Offered me an in store credit and HHGregg no longer sells this. They must have known it was crap. So I had to pay more fo...Read more
r another brand which gives me a non-matching washer to go with my dryer. Neither Warrantech or HHGregg would do anything to help. Both companies are a rip off. Do not buy the 3 year warranty because it is a waste of money. I'll never buy ANYTHING from HHGregg again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
