AVOID - missing items, long wait for delivery
We shop at Harris Farm COVID-19, so wanted to support them during lockdown, but won’t order again.
The bad:
- had to wait 12 days for the earliest delivery
- about half the items ordered did not arrive
- most of the other items were substituted items because they’ve run out of stock (informed via email the day after the delivery)
- in the end I only got ~20% of the items I ordered, and I had to wait 12 days for them...
- still waiting for a refund on the missing items, advised it’ll take ~1 week

Complete misleading
Two weeks after placing the order,Just received an email saying 2/3 of items are not available..
If you are not competent enough,Just do not mislead customers at this pandemic time.
Customers do not deserve to wait 13 days for hearing the items they ordered are not available..

A fraudulent website that accepts orders they can't fulfil and doesn't even care about the consequences
We gave Harris Farm a try for the first time a couple of weeks ago via there family box, we chose this option as their online order system wasn't working at the time. The box was ok but as we couldn't select items that matched my wife's dietary requirements we decided to try their online ordering system was ready which it appeared to be last week.
Our order was fairly small at $150 as we only needed essential items, it was disappointing to see that the earliest delivery was 7 days later but we decided to take a leap of faith given our experie...Read more
nce to date. Sadly this was a leap too far as Harris farm not only didn't deliver half of the items in our order, they failed to deliver at any level. They didn't notify us in advance, they left it to us to contact them concerned that they may have misplaced many of our items, and although they apologised for their error they offered no solution to our problem which was we desperately needed food today. They also refused to offer any kind of compensation for the errors they accepted they had made, the response was to go somewhere else if we needed food today (putting our health at risk as this would mean a store visit as higher-risk customers) or re-order and wait another 7 days and hope we get incredibly lucky and Harris Farm deliver what they promised too when they took our money. Everything thing in the order was provided except a missing box of Pellegrino sparkling bottles of water. I wasn’t informed of the missing item or refunded. No email has been received either.

Firstly it took a very long time to get the goods delivered from when we placed the order, some two weeks after placing the order, this is quite unacceptable.
Secondly, by the time you delivered the order the most important items were out of stock, not impressed!

Disappointed
I have been getting supplies via my children, this second one was disappointing, the fennel was so old, the asparagus was so limp I lost most until it snapped and it was not cheap, I would rather have nothing than a substitution, my order for English spinach was replaced by one zucchini! You can do better.

Dreadful experience,Never again!
I received no meat, out of a $120.00 essential shop, I received $40.00 worth of pantry items! Ruined my Easter, as I was relying on these items to provide a meal for my family. Oh but was charged the full amount on my credit card, discrepancy to be rectified in 3 business days, come on!

The best in these difficult times
Prior to the pandemic declaration we had abandoned Woolworths online as it failed us in 70% of our usage, in particular their greengrocery offering was disgusting.
We started using Harris Farm Markets physical store and enjoyed their range and product freshness When the restrictions were put in place we tried their on line home delivery service. Wow what a surprise - excellent experience .

Did not receive order ( standard express box) as they delivered to the wrong address
Received a message at around 8am this morning stating the boxes that I ordered ( standard box) have been delivered to my address ( with delivery tracking) but the boxes were actually sent to a different address at different suburb. I fully understand there could be a mixed-up by driver and I would be happy if they arrange replacement delivery at later time.
However after a few calls to customer services and a few calls with driver, I have been told that they will pick up the boxes from the wrong address and send to me. What a joke!! Harris Far...Read more

Missing buns
Hot cross buns were not in order and I had so been looking forward to them. I only eat at them Easter so after 60+ years I'm missing out! I know it's unusual times but I really am disappointed.

First time delivery for us. While some items not delivered, this is the perfect solution for us, as we are in social isolation. Have already placed another order for a couple of weeks hence. Produce that did arrive was fresh and well selected. Will endeavor to work with Harris Farm to replace items paid for but not delivered. WELL DONE to the service, staff and Harris Farm for offering to help those in need.

Over half of items missing
We had an order delivered today (Good Friday), over half the order did not arrive. It was food for our Easter weekend and my husbands birthday on Easter Monday, we are in isolation so too late to order anywhere else.
The same happened with Harris Farm last week but we thought it was a one off occurrence. Harris Farm do not notify you that the food is not available or tell you that the food is not in your shopping, you need to work this out for yourself and chase up a refund. Order/delivery process needs improvement
The produce is fresh, but the online delivery process is not worth the long wait and inconvenience. The wait time for delivery is much longer than competitors, I placed order on 30/3 arrived 08/4. Items selected during order process appeared as available but were not available when order was packed.

Half of my order wasn’t delivered
My order was delivered yesterday. There was no prior notification that items weren’t available. It was only when I started checking the items against the order I placed that I found 13 out of 27 items missing. Curiously, when I went to the Harris Farm website this morning, some of the missing items are still listed. So they are not out of stock or they have very poor inventory management. They are offering a refund. But it’s still bad service. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Think twice before you buy groceries online from Harris Farm.
I ordered 4 packages of rice 30/03 Online. Delivery came 30 mins before deadline. Delivery items was wrong:4 small tomato delivered and two of them are rotten 08/04 2030hrs. PLS see picture attached for the freshness and size. "
call centre open 9am-11pm" but I called@2035hrs and no one answered. Call been cut off after 20mins waiting automatically.

Great service
Admittedly the first delivery last week was disappointing because only two thirds of my order were delivered. I emailed Harris about it and they reacted fast and satisfactory. Within a week the overpaid money was back on my account.
Today’s delivery was perfect. They informed me early that some items were not in stock, advised that repayment is under way and the goods were all perfect. I can highly recommend Harris Farm and will use them again.

Substandard service
Wasn't given delivery time choice before I started my shop and found I had to wait 8 days for my delivery. To make matters worse 1/3 of my order wasn't in stock, something I could have been notified of well before my delivery. Instead I received no invoice with delivery and it wasn't until I started unpacking that I realised we were missing items.

Misleading and Deceptive Conduct
During the Coronavirus pandemic many Australians rely on delivery services. Coles or Woolworths who advise customers upfront whether they are not in a priority area or if products are out of stock - will advise on the details on arrival, apologies and automate a refund (Coles) or only charge for what is delivered (Woolworths). Harris Farm however take your money up front, deliver consistently less an 3/4 of your ordered items and the YOU have to call them to get a refund. A complete waste of time
I ordered $250 of produce and they delivered $175 with no attempt to make substitutes for “unavailable” rock melon (joke?), peas, bacon, beans, bok Choy, ham, chorizo, Goats cheese etc. I had to wait 9 days for a delivery window and only discovered a third of my order was missing on delivery day. very man would not drive into our 450 metre private road access and insisted my 75 year old husband carry the boxes from the street up to the house (Woolworths had no such issue 24 hours earlier). 2 weeks ago I bought nectarines that were rotten and they stopped talking to me about that. So much for the “more market than supermarket”: more like “here’s what you can have. Cop it”. PS Today I was offered a gift card for the nectarines for when I can emerge from isolation.
