Awesome 4k TV. Sub 1k

published

Believe all the reviews you read this TV is excellent. Bright, Easy set up and great picture. Netflix and You Tube button on remote for easy control.
Sound quality is ok I use a Panasonic home theatre so don't need the inbuilt speakers.
Netflix was a really easy setup on system. WiFi connection beavers skips a beat.
Had a Panasonic screen for last 10 years (still working) and also run a Samsung. I am a Hisense convert!! It is better than the Samsung and if lasts as long as the Panasonic it should be worth more money. 58" 4K smart TV for $850 easy purchase and even if I only get 4 years out of it it is worth every cent.

Very happy with the operating system. Has more features than im going to use.

Good TV at a great price

published

The picture quality looks good, though I don't have much to compare it against. With live TV, I do notice a bit of motion blur. I didn't see the same problem when watching a full HD movie, so maybe it's the tv signal(?).
It's a little slow to start up, which may bother some people.
I can't seem to find an online version of the user manual. The printed one in the box lacks detail.
The TV doesn't auto shutdown, for example if you have a PVR connected and you turn it off but forget to turn the TV off, it won't turn off automatically.
All in all, I'm very happy with this TV, and it was a very attractive price at $798.

Fantastic value for money

We brought this TV from Harvey Norman on special for after much investigation. It replaced out 10 year old Hitachi 50in plasma.
Picture quality is exceptional, sound is what you would expect, great for TV and movies but dont expect theater like quality. Easy to setup and if you do want to play around with the default settings there is many settings to change, a quick search on the internet gives you various options. Netflix is fast loading and the apps are plentiful, many you wouldn't use though.

Absolutely love it

published

I'm not a sophisticated guy interested in features I'd never use, I watch Foxtel and blue rays. Picture looks awesome, menu is simple and intuitive. Price was outstanding, sound is super. 4 HDMI ports is just great. Some pixelation in scenes composed of much the same colour but it's rare and barely noticeable. Great price. Love it. Top job

Great for the Price.

published

I have been a 'TV Brand snob' in the past, having paid over $4000 for one TV. I needed a new TV for the back room, which is well lit area with large windows and thought I would give the 'Hisense' Brand ago due to reviews on different forums. Went to Bing lee and they had this particular model for $888.00 during their 'End of Year' sale. Took it home, easy setup, TV leans slightly backwards, but seems solid on its two feet. 4 HDMI ports and multiple USB ports. HD television, Blu Rays look great. Netflix and Stan stream flawlessly. Overall very impressed with this TV for the price I paid. Still playing with motion settings as the BBL cricket looks a bit Juddery, but that also can be the transmission. Would recommend this product.

This is a great TV

published

We up graded in July 2016 to this tv. It was on special at Harvey Norman for 990.00. This is a very good tv. I wear hearing aids and the sound is good through the tv. We also have a sound bar for when we watch Netflix ( which comes with tv) the sin plays his new Playstation onnit no probs. The picture is excellent and has plenty of HDMI plugs ar back. Easy set up with this tv, plugged the foxtel in and a way you go. This Is a great value Television and would buy another one.

Our Hisense control has become almost impossible to use. The left button for scrolling won’t respond unless you press the button countless times. Plus 10play now no longer plays. You can find the show you want to play but it won’t allow the show to load.
