I bought my Hizero gen 1 about 3 years ago and although it cleans well when it is working, it does not work very often. It went back 2 or 3 times for service and I've had to contact support several times to get assistance fixing it on my own. Most recently, the roller stopped rotating and all Hizero would offer was a reduced price gen 2 model. They should have replaced it the 2nd or 3rd time it was returned for repair while it was still under warranty instead of waiting until it was out of warranty. After my experience with gen 1, I am done with Hizero. The only reason it gets 2 stars is it does a nice job cleaning the floors on the occasional times that it works. After this last problem, I'm cutting my losses and getting rid of it.

So many problems…. Usually doesn’t work. If you want to clean up a mess, you might need to spend 30 min mucking around with it and cleaning every crevice to get it to work. The dirty bucket turns into a cesspool. Right now it doesn’t clean at all and I have no idea what’s the problem now. We have hardwood floors and if my wife leaves it in a spot for two or three days it leaves permanent damage. Hard to plug into power. We’ve had to buy several replacement parts if you make the mistake of letting it dry up or get too wet or whatever they told my wife. When it works well, it’s great. But 40 pct of the time I want to throw it into a skip.

I’ve had this mop for over three years - when we first got it - it was great - then it started streaking constantly and we needed to clean it and all the other little parts - including the water tank and every other part of it.
When it works it’s brilliant but when it doesn’t it can take me half an hour to clean it -
I don’t think I would recommend it just because of how much you have to clean it when the product claims to be self cleaning

Hello Rowena, thanks for your feedback. Please note if you purchased 3yrs ago that would have been the F801 model, the current model is the 803. As for your comments re cleaning, unfortunately all wet...
Read more & dry floor cleaners will require regular cleaning and parts replacement over time, no matter the brand. I have found that cleaning as you go makes it quick and easy and should only take around 5 minutes. You mentioned our tech support was rude apologies if this occurred but this contradicts the experience of other customers. Regarding our "cleaning charges" this would only apply if the Hizero had been returned for service in a dirty condition, ie not cleaned and debris not removed. OH&S regulations don't allow tech support staff to work on appliances that are not clean. We also have many "how to videos" on our website and you tube which can be viewed explaining how to clean all parts of the appliance. Of course we pass on all feedback to head office so that we can continually improve the appliance. Regards Dino MD- 3 reviews

Good when it works but expect so much more. Very high maintenance. Would not recommend
After persevering with this mop for over 2 years I have finally given up and decided to buy a different electric mop.
The Hizero mop is fine when it works but I have to deep clean the device at least 3 times every time I clean my floors in order for it to work properly. It honestly feels like I spend more time maintaining it then I actually do cleaning with it. I expect more given its price. I have contacted the Hizero customer care team and they have been friendly, but all they suggest is to deep clean the machine - which yes, it does temporarily resolve the issue/s butni feel like I shouldn't have to do the deep clean so many times just to clean my floor once a week. I dont have the same issues with a cheaper mop.

Loved it in the beginning. When the hizero mop works it is fantastic and convenient. But then the problems keep arising. I have taken it into the hizero shop more times than I can count. I have been receiving a full water tank code almost every week since about a month after ownership. I clean the unit, I wipe the sensors and do everything customer service tells me to do. Sometimes it works again for a week or so longer other times it needs to be serviced. Sometimes something as little as turning the mop can bring on the code. I am so over having a mop that is unusable 70 percent of the time. I waste so much time fiddling with it. Why won’t they replace my mop????!!!!!

It seems that every time I use my Hizero it has an issue. You have to get down on all fours to clean the thing, almost turning yourself inside out to do it. I will admit that the customer service is very good, and they have an answer for everything. However, the Hizero is just not worth the money they are asking. I would not recommend this product.

I owned this machine a year now. The first month was great, then the problems started. Water lines everywhere, filters (the sponge type) blocked every 3 week (that they said to me at the phone will never going to be on sale, and I just need to request them for free, and now they are selling them). 4 months after bought it, I had to sent it back to check it and they told me was just the roller. Great to begin with but soon the constant machine maintenance becomes laborious.
At first I loved this machine but it didn't take long to realise how much maintenance it took to keep it working perfectly. Cleaning of its internal parts was constant & so damned hard, so much more than the "self cleaning" that's advertised. I ended up using my vacuum cleaner on the floor prior to its use to try & cut down on maintenance & although pre-vacuuming helped, the Hizero still required lots of cleaning. The constant filling/emptying of the tiny water tanks was annoying plus I had an operational issue which resulted in it being sent...

Overall, it just got too hard - in the end I dreaded using it due to the maintenance & finally resorted back to my trusty spin mop & bucket. Unfortunately my review on the Hizero web site was removed by the company which was unfair - I believe we are all entitled to know the pros and cons of a product.Purchased in at TVSN (TV Shopping Network) for $699.

I’ve been using the hizero for 3 months on my
Tiles and floor boards I’ve replaced the roller already once as there is always a horrible smell coming from
The hizero I clean it after every use - using the self clean and washing out all the compartments but it still smells. When I use it on my floor it leaves a Dewey icky smell. I notice you say you can use anything but your cleaning solution but I don’t find it that effective. To be very clear I never use it to clean up spills I always paper towel it and wipe it then I use the hizero but it always smells. Can you please suggest why this might be?
Hi Karolina could you please use our live chat feature on our website so we can have a two way discussion about this issue, thanks Dino MD
I have old unsealed hardwood floors (in some rooms) and some cracked tiles- would the hizero still be suitable?
Hi Kate, with unsealed wood it would absorb the water, so i would say no. To check this further use the live chat feature on our website and upload some picture so the team can review and advise. thanks again, Dino MD

- The Hizero Bionic Hard Floor Cleaner is suitable on hard floors, tiles, laminate and wooden floors.
- The bionic functionality allows this handy cleaner to sweep and mop at the same time. It uses a polymer roller to absorb both wet and dry waste. - The convenient cordless operation means you don’t have to navigate around furniture or worry about running out of cable.
- Hizero states that its Bionic Hard Floor Cleaner is highly economical, and can clean a 100m2 of floor area in 8 minutes, with 1 litre of water and 0.01kW electricity.
- This bionic floor cleaner operates at a noise level of 60dB, which is equivalent to a normal conversation in a restaurant or office.
- A lithium-ion battery accommodates 60 minutes of running time.
- After you’ve manually cleaned the parts of the cleaning head, the built-in cleaning function will make sure there are no blockages stopping waste from being suctioned.
