Great value
I have driven Patrol's, Pajero's and Klugera as company cars. All great cars. Time to buy for myself. Looked at all 3 again and the price, looked at the Colorado7 totally on "bang for buck". Now 10,000 kilometres in to owning the Colorado MY14. Does it compare? OK yes it's a bit more basic, there are not the same bells and whistles, but we saved a bucket of money for a lot of bells that we would rarely use. Could not be happier. Have done the 10k clicks in less than 6 weeks so we really run the vehicle. Has not missed a beat, love it. Have not ...Read more
towed, only use 4WD as a safety thing on a rough dirt road, but......am I happy. 'Ken Oath. Bloody good all round vehicle. To top it off, if I really need to I can lay the back seats down and sleep in it OK @ my height of more than 6 feet tall.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Car Pity About The Spare Wheel
Purchased 2014 Colorado 7 LTZ, 5000 k on it, auto works well, great on sand even with road tyres, heated leather seats, keeps the wife happy in winter, fuel 10 lts per 100k, plenty of power, reliable, easy to drive, sit high in the car, down side Mylink only works with iPhone so have to change my mobile to get maps, but what was Holden thinking re spare wheel, 16 inch alloy with a proper road tyre on it (standard size on the LT models) but Holden filled it with foam so can only do 80kmph, LTZ has 18 inch standard, should have checked before purchased.

clarification of review re deslyn colorado fuel problems
In regard to the comments I posted on having the same fuel problems as deslyn
Other than the current fuel problem which I hope can be rectified by Holden I really cannot fault the current 2012 holden Colorado 7 it is a comfortable car to drive and ride in and tows a jayco 20 foot caravan with ease
the fuel consumption is in the 15k to hundred range which is very economica,l would not hesitate to buy another one providing the current problem is fixed and is not ongoing.

Never missed a beat
We've had our Colorado 7 for almost 2 years - 55,000kms and we absolutely love it. We had the Colorado ute before that, and doesn't compare. We decided to take out the rear two seats and fit it out with a drawer kit and fridge for our travels. Taken it for some serious off roading several times and handles extremely well. (from Flinders Rangers to Big Red at Birdsville to off road along the Nullarbor through to Geraldton WA). It tows a large camper trailer with ease. Its used daily for city driving, fuel consumption sits 9-10lt/100km, great t...Read more
urning circle, easy parking, love being able to see above other cars. Only neg (personal opinion) is the rear view camera in the rear view mirror is far to bright of a night time and very distracting. We had one issue post recall fit, and City Holden were amazing, couldn't apologise enough and fixed the offending problem promptly and even compensated us! Love our 7, love City Holden Service!!

Not happy with colorado 7
I had mine for 18 months, spare tyre bracket came loose after a couple of weeks, front strut bushes replaced twice, fuel sensor failed, leather wearing off driver seat (will not replace due to wear and tear) only 20k on the clock, very noisy, suspension very soft, traded in on a ranger (happy now

Really good 4wd
Bought dealer demo LT (2012) with 2000 km on odometer because my wife preferred it to the used Pajaro we were going to buy. Wanted for towing our 1.8 tonne camper - trailer off road. Have had snorkel and steel bull bar fitted, and replaced original tyres with Light Truck All Terrain Bridgestone Duelers. Put in Tough Dog 40 mm suspension lift and Whisbar Heavy Duty roof bars and basket.
Have just done 15,000 km trip from Flinders Ranges to Cape Tribulation and beyond, without a single issue. Handled Fraser Island sand tracks and beaches with ...Read more

Colorado7 Serious safety issue
Rear fuel tank bracket came out of its slot and twisted. The fuel tank dropped and dragged on the ground. Holden genuine part and installed Bull bar rattled loose and parts fell off. Oil leak from diff seal. Squeaking Noise from front struts. Car has done 15 000km. Holden would not fix the fuel tank as they claim we must have hit something. We did not hit anything. Holden service very poor. Don't buy this car.
Dangerous fuel tank bracket support. One end sits in a slot and is not secured. The other end bolted in.

I just purchased a new trailblazer and have just installed a tow bar and harness with ecu. The problem is that the tail light and brake light are on the one red wire at the plug and when I test the vehicle lights the brake and tail are on one wire. How do you get the tail light and stop light to seperate as the tail light is supposed to be brown and stop red?
