Can anyone tell me why my low fuel warning light does not display in my 2011 LTR 3ltr Colorado turbo diesel? I purchased it second hand but have never seen the light glow, even when close to empty. An orange fuel light does glow on start up so I know it's there.

You may actually have never taken it down far enough to see the fuel light. Which is good as the turbo needs the diesel to work.
I have only seen mine once and that was so I could see it. Hahaha

We have a 2010 Colorado automatic and the drivers rear tail light fuse keeps on blowing we do have the right fuse and we have tried to trace where the short maybe has anyone had a similar problem?

By no means am i an auto elec but have you checked how good an earth you have for the tail lights on both sides
Bad earth can cause many faults and transfer power to other lights.
Just an idea that you can check.

I have a 2009 colarado just wondering what would make the temp gauge go up and down when sitting in traffic with the clutch in an in gear it goes up take it out off gear it goes back to normal . It also goes up and down with your speed

G day everyone we have a 09 3 lt diesel Colorado sometimes the engine light comes on and runs like crap the code is p0201 injector circuit/ open cylinder 1. If we turn off the car 10 or 15 minutes it clears and runs fine. Holden can't pin point it yet any suggestions what it could be? many thanks.

i think they are like any diesel look arfter it and it will look after you regular service and should be good

We have a 2011 3ltr cdi engine and was running fine turned on and backed up a small hill and turned off and left for a week or so then went back and tried to start it and is turning over sounding like it has no compression and won't start any ideas would be good to hear from anyone on this strange one.

Hi, I have a 2009 LTR Dual Dab. Are the clock and heater knobs etc meant to havea backlight when lights are on? Only lights I have inside when lights are on are dash and radio.
Can't read clock at night time.
Is it a broken fuse or are they just not there?

Could be a fuse or might be a globe
could be a fuse could be small light that lights the runners to those things

Some had fuse pannel to the right of steering should be 15amp blade fuse or. Under bonnet left hand side
some colorado, s have small blade and mini blade mine is august 2012 some fuses under bonnet should be 15 amp some a in a small box by your knee in cab

You turn the key on for 30seconds then turn of then turn back on for 30seconds then turn to start it is in the owners manual it should start then let it run

That has redao engine could be alternator light or faulty crankangle sensors get a good garage to plug in a computor and check for fault

had mine checked on laptop today came up with emg relay whatever that is and no;1 injector fault. funny thing is car still runs fine. i think holden rigged computer to fault on anything after warranty ran out so they make more dollars out of you. but thats only my opinion. engine warning light could be any of a thousand things dont go to holden and pay heaps just go to any auto shop and ask for a test and reset. good luck

Hey i have a holden colorado rc lxr 3ltd and when i go over 100kms the car runs abit hot and it will keep going up until it over heats just wanted to know if anyone has same issue if i turn the air conditioner of it doesn't run hot as quick wanted to know if its an air flow thing as i have an xrox bull bar and a winch and spotties any ideas i have changed the thermostat

Hey, I have heard from numerous service department Employees at Holden and also some friends and a brother in law (who are mechanics) that bullbars on Colorado's have been known to cause some airflow problems with the radiators. I believe my 2015 colorado actually has two radiators, one regular radiator and also a smaller one, not sure why, but I have an ironman deluxe commercial bullbar and havent had any issues so far so it could be down to the design of the bullbar and how the air flows through it.

Hey just wondering if anyone can help. My 2011 holden colorado ltr 4×4 makes a high pitched whistle noise while driving. I don't know if it's the front or rear driver side but it only happens every now and then. Took it to holden when it had 10000 kms on it and they couldn't find the problem, it now has 130000 and still has the same problem. Just after some advice if anyone has had the same problem or might know what it is. Thanks heaps!

The noise is coming from dry inner hub seals
Mine does this too! Well I have not noticed it for a while so I'm thinking something was fixed in servicing.
I had this issue with my 2011 rc colorado. Numerous times they said they could not find an issue however after finally getting our local holden dealers to have a decent look at it, they discovered that the hub seals are constantly dry. We still do not know why they are always dry....

Transmission cooler is always. A good idea on any automatic. But you should talk to your dealer or automatic transmission specialist for correct one
