Hey, I have a coolant leak on my Colorado on cold start up, but when warm it is dry. Appears to be coming from where hose clamps on to the oil cooler at the rear of the motor, drivers side. Can’t get a good look but it doesn’t appear to be leaking above this point. Any ideas?

I have a late 2014 RG Colorado.
Today I fitted new front brake rotors and pads. Vehicle went into limp mode. To get out of limp mode I found that if I switched the ESP off (held button for over 7 seconds) then the problem was removed. However when I stopped and switched the ESP back on went back into limp mode. What have I done wrong - what haven't I reset?

firstly I am assuming that the Colorado motor is at its "roughest" between 2 and 3000 revs because in this rev range it causes a vibration in predominately the left front side of the car . Has been doing this for about 80,000k now and its naturally getting worse. I guess most of you have had a problem and taken it to a mechanic and the bloody thing wont give the symptom at all or only slightly, this is what happened on the several occasions I have taken it to the dealer. The tone of the vibration/growl/noise or whatever you want to call it changes if the road has gentle undulations. I cant do too much investigation myself due to my arthritis but what I have found is in my opinion too much play where the inner front CV joints go into the gearbox ( I dont mean the joint itself but the actual outer body) this I feel would explain the change in tone going over undulations Any one else had this problem ?

Wanted to replace my 2012 Rg Colorado cabin filter but it doesnt allow access to the filter compartment. Any ideas how to get at the filter without major surgery?
2 answers
It may not have a cabin filter in it, you have to take the inner glovebox compartment out, think there’s a few 7mm bolts, but when you get to it you may find that where the opening usually is to change them, is actually sealed
I've resolved. It has to be cut out and a clip on cover bought from the manufacturer. The filter cartridge is inserted then the cover clipped on.

I have been having issues with my Colorado turbo diesel RC .
At times it wont start, makes a clicking sound but its not the battery going flat, I can roll the care back and forth and sometimes it will start, sometimes it wont .
I Have cleaned the battery terminals and the battery has charge ! today it started first go but stalled after running for around 5 seconds, I re started it and it done the same thing .
this has been going on now for over a week, its as simple as parking in a shopping centre, returning to the car 20 minutes later and it just clicks like it has a flat battery but the battery has plenty of charge .
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated .

A car battery voltage doesnt determine the true health or its condition. A fully charged battery can still be faulty and not produce enough cranking apps when under load( when starting)
I'd suggest a proper load test be done, and I'm sure you will find it needs a new battery.
Did new battery help? I have the same issue

I have a 2015 Colorado . Battery seems fine, but will not start. Its as if the battery is flat. I tested the battery, 12.7volts and 14.7 when going and charging. Could it be starter motor?

I have a 2013 RG Colorado, not sure of the headlight bulbs.
Want to do LED conversion, hoping someone out there might know.
